  Barry, Thanks for a great visit - you have a beautiful home. I wanted to compliment you on all the 'extras' you provided. 2 propane tanks, having an air pump for the bikes, and the kitchen was VERY well stocked (we love to cook, plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc). It was a great visit, thanks again. My family and I have owned rental property on Kiawah for about 20 years now and I would definitely use and/or recommend your home in the future. Happy New Year.

  We brought several kids and parents down to John's Island for a horse show at Mullet Hall Equestrian Center and rented this home. It was wonderful! We had a great time relaxing and cooking dinner in the evenings and the kids got to hang out and go to the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and well suited for families vacationing together with the variety of sleeping accommodations. We will definitely be back!

  This property was everything and more. The location is perfect! Its only a 3 minute bike ride to the private beach with a beautiful newly constructed board walk, which makes the beach handicap accessible. Shopping and resturants are only 5 minutes away in addition to the breath taking Ocean Course where my best friend is planning her wedding in a couple of months. The floor plan is wonderful and each person staying with us had their own private bath and bedroom, which was great for my boyfriend and I. The atmospher was so peaceful and relaxing. The roomy outdoor patio equipped with all the fixings made it easy to have fun bbq get togethers in the evening. There is also a nearby community pool within walking distance just a couple blocks away. I took advantage of it a couple days just to relax and finish my book. I had the pool all to myself in the eveings. The week stay was very affordable for such a big home. We had free access to bikes, beach equipment, fishing gear, games, movies which reduced our overall expenditures for the stay. We have it booked again for a return stay this fall for a family reunion. I'm so excited to be going back.   Me and my family vacationed in this home on Surfside, it was an amazing experience. I felt like it was home. The house was exceptionally clean,(and my family knows that if it wasn't, we wouldn't of stayed) My children had the upstairs pool table to play in the afternoons, me and my husband enjoyed sitting on the back dock and watching the sun set. We were a few yards from the beach. The house included bikes to ride to the beach and around the neighborhood. We have never experienced such a great place. The house was very cozy. We had a great time, and we hope to go back soon...The nearby fresh market was great for buying fresh shrimp and vegetables. I am hoping to send my parents there on their 50 anniversery.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  This is such a wonderful home. It is extremely peaceful, has lots of space for a large group of people and is a quick walk to the beach. There is plenty of tables for everyone to sit down to eat, both in and out. The owners have thought of everything, even providing a wagon to take to the beach! My husband and I hope to come back soon.

  This was the site of our 15th annual family vacation. Your home was perfect for us - everyone had their own space. We love Kiawah - this is our 2nd trip, and hopefully won't be our last!

  Your house is so pretty and Kiawah is pretty much awesome. I stayed in the pink & green room upstairs. Sorry that my friend spilled nail polish remover on the dresser upstairs. I really hope it can be fixed. We loved the porch upstairs. My friend and I watched the stars there every night. Thank you so much. P.S. Best Vacation Ever

  We rented this home becasue we knew the area and remembered the wonderful times we shared as a family on Kaiwah when we visited several years ago with our children. we found this home to be the perfect home for our return to the island with our childern and grandchildren. the home is well suited to provide privacy for each of the family groups and still provide opportunity for family dinners and share times. we loved the deck and the great kitchen area, the outdoor shower was a hit and the great access to the beach was a plus. the home is well equiped with everything you need for a great family vacation, including a beach wagon for the essentials of beach life. we would definately reccomend this home to any family that can spend a few day or longer in one of the best islands we have visited. PS: the Kids loved the alligator that visited the backyard one day.

  What an ideal family vacation home - spacious,comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen and dining areas including the large area on the deck invite family gatherings. And to sit on the deck with the breezes and the sound of the ocean does not let one forget how close to the beach this Kiawah house is. It was perfect for our families gathering for our daughters wedding on Kiawah. Highly recommend it for a wonderful stay on a wonderful island.

  Just came back home and wished I had stayed longer at this wonderful house. This house has everything you could want in a vacation rental. It is spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. It's location so close to the beach is ideal. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is considering a trip to Kiawah Island.

  We purchased the home in December 2006. We completed renovations for May 2007. We painted, new appliances, new fixtures, new furnishings, re-finish the floors & new great room.
