This building has just undergone a massive renovation. There is no better location at Copper and now there is no better building. The Lodge has long been Copper's most popular building and now it has an appearance to match its superior location. We've also done some remodeling inside the condo - all new kitchen, with new maple cabinets, granite counters, stone tile floors, and all new appliances. The entire condo has been freshly painted. We're ready for another great season at Copper.
I also have an identical unit just upstairs from this one - although we do not allow any pets in that condo. Our policy on pets is that there must be no sign that a pet was there during your stay. Pet requests are unusual during the winter months but we must be mindful of the next guest, so we ask that any dog hair be vacuumed before your departure, prior to our cleaning crew giving it a second vacuuming. As long as there is no sign a pet has been in the condo, there is no extra charge!
For larger groups check my other VRBO Listings - #8858 and #11844 for availability - both of them are 3 bedroom condos that will sleep 14/16. I also have another 3 bedroom condo next door to my listing #8858, so we can sleep up to 30! Between all of my condos we can accomodate as many as 55 people!!!
Others claim to offer ski-in/ski-out lodging. Ask them if you can ski right from the building to the lifts and can you ski right back home again. That is true ski-in/ski-out with no carrying skis (or kids' skis) to the nearest lift. The Lodge at Copper and Copper Mountain Inn (see my listing number 11844, if you have a larger group) are the only true ski-in/ski-out buildings at Copper. If you're going to ski Copper Mt., you might as well stay in the best location available at the lowest owner direct rates.
Call now as Copper Mountain is quickly booking the prime dates for the 2010-2011 ski season. With 2,433 acres of skiable terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado.
Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called "the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the U.S." by the U.S. Forest Service.
It’s also known as the Local’s Favorite. Perhaps that’s due to Copper’s long, steep mogul runs, its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing, or its long, groomed easier runs.
The Lodge at Copper is a one bedroom, one bath unit that sleeps six. This building has been called Copper's most requested location by central reservations. The Lodge is located on its own private drive, though still in the Center Village. There is no building closer to the American Flyer Lift and just a few more steps to the American Eagle - Copper's two main lifts in the Center Village also known as the New Village at Copper. A true ski-in, ski-out, beautifully maintained building with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub. Indoor underground heated parking space.

My family and I had the greatest stay at Copper Mountain because this condo is perfect. It was so roomy and cozy that we were excited to head home at the end of each day. Its location made enjoying Copper's amenities a piece of cake. Not to mention how effortless it was to get on and off the mountain. As the listing states, "truly ski-in ski-out." don't pass this one up.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We have stayed at this condo twice.... spring break 2010 and spring break 2009. The location is simply the best on the mountain! We ski home for lunch every day and are able to get right back out. The unit is comfortable, well stocked, and warm. Having ski lockers in the garage basement is so convenient. We are not able to get our car in the garage without taking off the Thule (so we take it off and carry it in) but having the heated garage is a real benefit. Paul (the owner) is extremely nice to deal with. We hope to come back again next ski season! Thanks Paul!

This condo is all that is advertised. You could not ask for a more convenient ski in/out experience. This condo includes it all; underground “heated” garage, storage locker, hot tub, full kitchen, TVs, DVDs, wireless internet, etc. In the mornings, it took seconds to ski down to the American Flyer lift and at the end of the day I skied right up to the back door that leads to the storage locker (located inside the heated garage). The owner was helpful, organized, and always available. He provided everything we needed including discounted lift tickets.
