Copper Mountain Inn - referred to as 'Highest on the Mountain,' is your base for one of Copper's ONLY TRUE SKI-IN/SKI-OUT locations. You just can't get any closer to the mountain and lifts. If you were taking a beach vacation, would you want to stay on the beach or a block away? Staying here is like being in the water!

Others claim to offer ski-in/ski-out lodging. Ask them if you can ski right from the building to the lifts and can you ski right back home again. That is true ski-in/ski-out with no carrying skis (or kids' skis) to the nearest lift. Copper Mountain Inn and The Lodge at Copper (see my listing number 11843, if you have a smaller group) are the only true ski-in/ski-out buildings at Copper.

If you're going to ski Copper Mt., you might as well stay in the best location available at the lowest owner direct rates. If you want the best views Copper has to offer and just a short walk to the lifts, check our VRBO listing number 8858.

Call now as Copper Mountain is quickly booking the prime dates for the 2011-2012 ski season. With 2,433 acres of skiable terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the U.S.' by the Forest Service.

It’s also known as the Local’s Favorite. Perhaps that’s due to Copper’s long, steep mogul runs, or its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing.

This Copper Mountain Inn spacious condo is a three-bedroom, three bath unit, that sleeps up to 14. This unit has on-site management for easy check-in. This is one of Copper Mountain's most requested locations. If you need more space, just ask. I may be able to secure more units in the same building.

Three balconies (one of them extra-large and glass-enclosed) to wooded view and the peaks of the Ten Mile Range. True ski-in, ski-out unit within steps of the American Eagle Lift. Indoor underground heated garage. 24 hour check-in.

                    I can't thank you enough for the wonderful time we've had staying in your place this last week. It couldn't be more convenient to everything, especially the lifts! This place is huge and there are 12 of us here right now. For those of us who've been hanging around the condo, we really appreciate the new TV's, the new bedroom set, and the little touches you've added since last year (the new comforters are adorable!) that truly make this our favorite condo at Copper! The new bathrooms looks great. I wish we could take up Paul's (the owner's) offer to stay tonight for free, but we need to get home - and no one seems to want to move very quickly this morning.

                    Hi Paul, I'm so glad I called today and even more glad that you have your condo available for our dates this year. As you'll recall, we stayed during the USASA Finals last spring. My family and I and all the young athletes with us agreed that this was by far, the best location we've ever stayed at at Copper. We're coming back in February and can't wait. Depending on who qualifies for the Finals we hope to be back again for the competition in the Spring also. You have an amazing place (comfortable, spacious, clean, etc.) and you are awesome to deal with. We could not have felt any more welcome. Carry on!!!

                    We can't speak highly enough as to the wonderful time we had staying in this condo over Spring Break, 2012. We were initially concerned about a poor review posted. But after speaking to the owner, who gaves us references - other recent guests who refuted the bad review, we were sold and quite pleased in fact with all aspects of our stay. As another review stated, the location is beyond belief. We skied right to the door of the building and didn't even have to deal with any public bathroom facilities as it was easier to return to the condo. This was an amazing bonus for all of us females. The condo itself is tastefully appointed with everything we needed, all in good working order and very spacious. We enjoyed the heck out of this place and really feel that the poor review was nonsense. Paul, the owner, could not have been more pleasant to deal with and he actually did beat the rates of a few similar units, just by us asking. We've been to Copper 5 times in the last several years, but we know where we'll be staying from now on - right here! Thanks Paul, we look forward to our next stay!!!

I'm glad I was able to beat the rates of the other places we talked about last year. I try not to let price alone be the determining factor for my guests, so I always try to give the best rate you'll find. We recently made some further upgrades in the condo, including a new bedroom set in the master bedroom and all new flat screen TV's in the living room and two of the bedrooms. It was truly a pleasure working with you and your family and we look forward to your stay again in March.

                    I stayed in this condo last week and it is in disrepair. The carpet has tears in it. The window in one bedroom leaks and has mold growing on the sill. The door frame in the master bedroom has been ripped off of the wall. Many of the lights are burnt out and/or they don't work. The fireplace does not work. The furniture is old and very shabby looking. The toilet seat in one of the bathrooms is broken. The light in the bathroom off of the living area only comes on partially and so the bathroom is very dark. When the owner was made aware of all of these things, he said that he could repair them while we were there. Why wasn't this done before the place was rented? Who wants workmen in a condo while you're trying to vacation there?!

                    Owner response: There were a few temporary problems with this condo at that time as another guest just prior to this one left the place quite a mess and did some damage. When that guest departed, this guest arrived earlier than their stated check-in time on the same day but our cleaning crew let them in early, as a courtesy, and before completely finishing the repairs that were necessary. Once I was made aware of the problems I offered to have someone come over immediately and take care of everything which would have taken maybe an hour or two. They declined the offer. Instead a week after their departure they demanded a refund. When I declined, this review was submitted which is quite an exaggeration. I always do the best I can to make sure every guest enjoys our place. It is an average rated vacation home, not the Ritz-Carlton or the Four Seasons Hotel. We always give an accurate description of the condo so that expectations are realistic. We keep it in good, clean condition and as our contract states, if there is a problem, as long as we're given access, we'll fix anything immediately. They never gave me a chance, but stayed the entire time only to ask for a refund after departing. With more than 20% of my guests being repeat guests, I believe most people enjoy our place as much as we do and would consider this review unfair, unwarranted, and unreasonable. To anyone with any questions about this review, please feel free to contact me.

                    We stayed in this condo last February and loved it from the moment we walked in. Now we're counting the days until we'll be back again over the Christmas break. The owner is exceptionally wonderful to deal with and so accomodating. The condo had an empty night available at the end of our stay and he let us stay another night for free! My kids will never forget that as they were in tears when we finally had to go home. The place itself was in excellent shape - clean with room enough for an army and nicely decorated. The location was beyond belief. Skiing right to the door has us spoiled and I don't think we could ever stay anywhere else! So we'll see you again in December! Thanks for memories that will last a lifetime :)
