Rich in biodiversity, Gaviota is one of the last undeveloped regions of the Southern California coast. Pack up a picnic and head to the rural serenity of this renown stretch of coastline or take pleasure in staying close to home and explore the pristine semi-private beach below the home accessible by a Private Stairway. A bike path runs nearby, which provides for easy peddling to the nearby County beach park of Goleta Beach where you can walk out on the pier, stop in the beachfront pierside restaurant for a meal, use the BBQ grills and picnic tables for a picnic, or continue on up the bike path to the University of California and Campus Beach Point.
