Beautiful rustic home in Big Canoe!! This home, "Camp Lee" is on Lake Petit with nothing but greenspace between you and the crystal clear Lake Petit! The front of the house has a large "rocking chair" porch with a bench swing. Walk in thru an old gorgeous church door into this wonderful home! Old plank hardwoods are in the foyer and living area. There is a huge two story living area with beams on the ceiling and a floor to ceiling oversized stackstone fireplace with old church stained glass windows on either side! A wall of windows is there for you to view the gorgeous scenery. There is a screened-in porch with a ceiling fan and plenty of seating (a TV is on the porch if needed) and off of this is a large balcony running across the back of the house!! The kitchen is just off of the living area.
Master on main floor with king sized bed with wall of windows and door opening to large balcony. Over the bed is a beautiful stained glass window. A second bedroom and bath are also located on the first floor. This room has a double bed and windows with plantation shutters.
The massive post on the stairs lead you upstairs to a large bedroom with 4 twin beds, a bathroom and a loft with TV and fold out Simmons sleeper sofa! All windows upstairs have plantation shutters.
Big Canoe is a wonderful place to vacation! It is an 8000-acre mountain resort community. It has a 27-hole golf course, three lakes, one indoor pool with jacuzzi, two outdoor pools (one with a water play area), lake swimming, paddle boats, canoes, fitness center, racquetball court, pontoon rentals, indoor tennis court, wonderful outdoor tennis facility, 15 miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, day spa, outdoor basketball court, soccer field, baseball field, playground, bocce court and the famous rock slide, etc...!! There are also restaurants inside the gates! What more do you need?!?
