Beautifully Furnished Oceanfront Beach House...
Walk only 80' from the back door and you're on the beach, or sit on the third floor deck and watch the dolphins and the ocean roll-in. After a day on the beach, relax pool-side. The pool opens April 1st 2010 and closes October 31st 2010. The pool will be heated before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.
The floor plan is a non-traditional design. The Great Room, Kitchen and Master bedroom are on the third floor. Thus taking advantage of both the ocean front and sound views from both sides of the house. It also has an elevator that serves all three floors, making the trip up/down a little easier on the knees. This non-smoking home features four bedrooms on the second floor, with a shared bath and a jack & jill bath. Our newest addition is our Margaritaville blender machine to make your favorite frozen concoction for the young and old.
The great room has generous seating for 10 overlooking the ocean with a fireplace for cooler weather. There is plenty of seating in kitchen and bar area to eat. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has an additional stand-alone ice maker for those hot days! The house has plenty of games and books for down time. This bright and fresh two-year-old home has hardwood floors and area carpets. There is a private hot and cold shower outside.
If you like an uncrowded beach and all the modern amenities that a house can offer, you will fall in love with this location.

We have vacationed at this property the past 2 summers and will be returning this summer. This house has plenty of room for multiple families with children. We love that the main living space and kitchen are on the top level and open so you can see the ocean while cooking. The extra ice maker is very handy and so is the linen service. The house is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating. We love having our own pool and it's big enough to cool off and the kids to play. You can pick up fresh seafood nearby and there are several restaurants a short driving distance. The owners have been very easy to work with and quickly responded when the ice maker was not working and a smoke detector was beeping. The house is near the end of the beach and the kids enjoy walking to the inlet and playing in the tide pools.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This house is nice. It is not as clean as expected and it is beginning to show wear. The pool is small but it is ok for a small group. The location is great except for the sounds from the Marine Base not too far away. The owner was difficult to deal with. She was very unprofessional. I left several emails requesting that she return my deposit. She ignored them all. I finally went to the VROB site and sent a message to her. She finally responded after five weeks with a list of ridiculous and false charges that entitled her to keep my deposit. I tried to reason with her but she had the advantage. She had my money and the truth meant nothing to her. I recommend that you be very careful in dealing with her. Do not rent this house if another one is available. RBRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

You will absolutely love this house; spacious, up-to-date, clean, and neat as a pin. We rented this place last year for a June 2011 reunion to house children and grandchildren and it did not disappoint. Straight out beach and pool access by all 4 mid-level bedrooms. (No cutting through another room, using stairs, or elevator waiting to get kids outside.) A high capacity stack wash and dryer are also on this level. The house has a very open and spacious kitchen, great room, and master suite. Also included is a built-in ice machine and very large outdoor gas grill. Benches at the end of the beach walkway provided plenty of room to stow inflatables, boogey boards, etc. overnight. Two large tubs of towels and bed linens awaited us at the door plus the pool service came twice while we were there. This house is well cared for and we feel lucky to have found it. The owners are very gracious and can answer any question you may have. "If" you need to eat out we would recommned "Crabby Mike's" in Surf City. Get there early. We highly recommend this home and location for a great vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We just got back from a weeks stay and this was a great house. Loved the open living area and the big kitchen. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner each night. Cannot beat the location, easy walk to the very private beach. North Topsail is not crowded at all and is a great location to vacation with young children. There are not very many houses in this area and with no public beach access close by, it was like having the beach to ourselves to play bocce ball and toss the frisbee each day. All the kids on our trip loved the beach and the ocean. The elevator was great for carrying luggage up and down. The Margiritaville blender was awesome. We also really enjoyed all of the outdoor speakers. The pool was bigger than it looks in the pictures and had plenty or space and a great bench seat in the deep end. Overall, very impressed with the house and would stay again.Recommended for: Families with young children.
