My wife and I enjoyed our stay here in March. The condo was clean and well appointed, and the descriptions and photos posted on the website were representative. Melissa was very prompt with all communication. The proximity to restaurants and the hot springs was something we enjoyed - It was wonderful to be able to walk to dinner and the hot springs from the apartment. It is a one-room apartment, so this is a great place for couples but probably not for families with children.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We really enjoyed your loft and all the nice hiking trails in the area. Also we highly recommend the following restaurants in the area: Farrago’s (good pizza and homemade soup) Chavalo’s, Nello’s and especially the Pagosa Bakery! Our favorite hike was the Colorado Trail at Molas Pass. The bed was very comfortable. I don’t think I’ve ever slept as much as I have this past week! Can’t wait to come back to ski! About the owner: I was born and raised in Pagosa Springs, CO but now reside in San Clemente, CA. This loft is my first foray into home ownership - I bought it to serve as home base while I was traveling frequently for work. I've since relocated to California to live with my boyfriend, but we try to visit at least once a season. My parents still live in Pagosa, and do a wonderful job of keeping my place in tip-top shape when I'm gone!
Why the Owner Chose Pagosa Springs:
I wanted a place of my own in my hometown, but when I went to purchase my first place I had my heart set on a place either way out of town or right smack dab in the middle of it. I'm really happy I decided on the latter because I can honestly say its like living in a completely different town than the one I'd grown up in. Having lived in what morphed into suburbia since my parents built their house on Pagosa Lake in the 70s, downtown living was a refreshing new take on Pagosa - city perks with a mountain view, I'll take it!

This loft is flanked by coffee shops and restaurants, mere steps from the river, hot springs and movie theater and a quick 20 minute drive to the ski area! And that's just outside! A totally tricked out kitchen, canopy bed, covered porch with bistro set and deep soaker tub are just a few of the perks of this place!
