We had a wonderful stay at this property. The photos accurately depicted the property. It was spotless and very well maintained. The view was fantastic and the house was very comfortable and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the access to the two wonderful resort hotels. The beach at Mauna Kea was our favorite place to spend time. The golf was also tempting. We would highly recommend this property. Our favorite "discovery" was a food truck for lunch in Kawaihae next to the fish market. Both the fish market and the lunch were excellent everytime we went.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Our family enjoyed staying at this property for a couple weeks in January. It's a magnificent home with a beautiful pool, hottub, and outdoor patio. It's a little mini-resort of it's own. The house was very clean and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen comes equipped with all the tools necessary to cook great meals at home, and there's a great BBQ outside as well. There's access to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel – two world-class hotels with amazing beaches, restaurants, and activities. There are countless other convenient amenities – the Internet is fast if you need to touch base with the office – basically, you can't go wrong staying here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everything was as advertised and then some. Home was well appointed, furnishings were excellent, view was spectacular, and overall experience was highly positive. We had two families of four (including 4 children under 10) staying in the unit and still found the living accommodations more than satisfactory. When we arrived, the home was clean, well maintained, and there was a local person available to answer questions...and she was very nice and easy to work with, when we needed her. Clearly, Hawaii over the Christmas holidays was a perfect way to spend the holidays with family...and Kona location on the Big Island was great choice. Also appreciated working with owner rep, Donna B, who answered all questions in timely fashion...and returned security deposit promptly after we left. We would highly recommend this property, with great pool and location, to friends and relatives...and would suspect we'll return some day with family again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

In brief, the rental was great. My family (wife and 2 active kids) wanted a place that had a pool, yet access to the luxuries of the resort. Needless to say, we found what we were looking for and look forward to coming back. The house has a great layout. The appliances are great and all the tools you need are there to be on vacation, yet feel like you are "at home". This house is extremely organized. it is strategically located on/adjacent to the Mauna Kea resort with easy access to whatever you may want to do, but has the exclusivity (peace & quiet) when you just want to relax. the pool has amazing views. we got some great family pics with the panoramic view with the "eternity pool". the premium is worth it! I can't say enough.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This home is truly heaven on earth! The kitchen is extremely well furnished with fantastic appliances...and you are overlooking the golf course, Maui and the ocean the whole time you're in there! As for the view, I have never seen more beautiful sunsets in my entire life...The sight of a beautiful red and gold sun going down with the palm trees and dolphin fountain in silhouette is a vision I will always treasure. The infinity pool's temperature was perfect - both day and night...and my skin felt sooo good when I would get out...Again, all this while overlooking the golf course and bright blue waters. The house is magnificantly furnished and maintained. All details were thought out and taken care of perfectly. The home offers the perfect mixture of luxury in a relaxing environment.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This property is very special and has something for everyone. There were six adults and even a room with a pac-n-play for the 18 month old. The home is meticulous with every element thoughtfully organized and easily at our finger tips, as we enjoyed the infinity pool overlooking the signature 3rd hole and ocean sunsets. Many sunset evenings with the BBQ (fresh local fish) after a day of golf, swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and exploring the world class beaches and coastal drives. The amenities of the home were five star from the jacuzzi tub to the gourmet kitchen - looking forward to our next visit (I miss waking to the dolphin fountain).Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We vacation on the Big Island every year and this house fit our family of five perfectly. There is nothing like spending all day down at the beautiful Mauna Kea Hotel beach and then come home for a late relaxing afternoon swim in the infinity pool at the house. Truly the best of both worlds. You get the privacy of your own home and all the amenities of a resort. And, oh, the sunsets! It doesn't get any better than grilling dinner as the sun is setting over the ocean in your backyard. The view is picture perfect. Thank you for your hospitality and hope to be back soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from our lovely stay in this beautiful home. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. Six adults, and 4 teenagers and everyone was comfortable being together and also doing their own thing. Enjoyed cooking dinners in the well-equipped kitchen and loved watching the beautiful sunsets from the backyard, pool side or from the jacuzzi. Our hosts were thoughtful, helpful and very gracious - the house did not feel like a rental - it felt like home. Lots of laughter and warm memories. A wonderful experience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at this house for a week in July and could not have been happier with our choice. This home proved the perfect place for us to unwind--it was beautifully appointed and the backyard lanai with pool and hot tub was exquisite. I had stayed in the resort hotel twice before and loved it, but I loved staying in this house much more than a hotel room. We still had access to all of the resort amenities (which are fantastic--the beaches can't be beat), but we also had the luxury of cooking out, swimming, and relaxing in our own private paradise in the evenings. The rental process was easy--Donna was very helpful throughout. Mahalo, Moani Heights! We hope to come back again someday.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We came to the Big Island for our daughter's wedding and the home was used for hosting a pre-wedding party, a central base for family members to visit and a long extended vacation for the group members that traveled from as far away as Holland. This home is well equipped, well organized, the support services were eager to help, the hotels were close for food, swimming, and entertainment needs. The pictures on this website simply do not match the beauty of the home and of the surrounding area. We could not be more pleased with our decision to rent this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our family rented this lovely home for spring break this year. My husband and I had stayed at the Mauna Kea resort before, but decided a home would be a much better value for our family. We have 4 grown children (ages 14-25) and this was the perfect spot for us! The house was amazing, wonderfully appointed, gorgeous views, great pool and hot tub, wonderful bathrooms and kitchen (all new and pristine), and we just loved the location! The best part is being able to enjoy all the amenities of the Mauna Kea resort but the privacy and space of your own home. This house is perfectly situated on hole number 3 of the Hapuna course. It is totally private...you don't see any other houses as you look out at the fairway, the vegetation and the ocean beyond. You will need to drive to the beach, but it is a quick run down the hill and free parking pass with your hotel pass so it's very convenient. We just loved it and will be back! Thanks so much for such a lovely, inviting place to share our family vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thanks for a fabulous stay in your gorgeous home! We had the priviledge of renting for two full months this past winter - we found the kitchen to be well equipped, the beds comfy, the rooms spacious, the pool sparkling, the location incredible, and the decor was amazing! We worked very hard all year and your home allowed us to unwind, relax, and regroup! Most of our evenings were spent cooking on the grill and stargazing from the loungers in the pool. We've rented a number of homes over the last several years, and yours was by far the best!!! Thanks again for the hospitality. Hope to return soon!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family vacationed at this property around the MLK holiday in January. It was absolutely perfect in every respect, and the weather was magnificent throughout our stay. Our 3 year old daughter entertained herself in the pool for hours on end, and with access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna resorts, when we were not enjoying the sun and amazing views from the comfort of the home, we were at the beautiful Mauna Kea beach. One set of grandparents joined us on the trip, and the home easily accomodated all of us. The kitchen and outside bbq provided everything needed to prepare meals on nights when we didn't enjoy the restaurants at either the Mauna Kea or Hapuna Prince. We would strongly recommend this property. The owners were a joy to work with and made the entire renting process as easy as can be.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our one week stay at this lovely home was flawless. Easy to get to from the airport, only 30 minutes!!! The home is tastefully decorated and offers everything you might need. We watched sunsets from the infinity pool or spa each night before going out to one of many excellent 4 Star restaurants located near this property. We couldn't figure out the shower's hot water but quickly received instructions from the owner. Our trips have taken us all over the world and we have used VRBO almost each time. We hope to return to the Big Island again and will hopefully stay at this same location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We gathered as a family for a birthday in Hawaii. We particularly like the beach at the Mauna Kea so the access to it was a real plus. The house worked out very well for all of us. The setting is beautiful and the sunsets are glorious. We went to the beach much of the day and didn't want to leave for dinner because it was so lovely to cook on the grill, eat outside and watch the sunset over the ocean. It's a home that you can "live in" quite comfortably while you're on vacation. Nicely decorated and appointed with most everything you might need to enjoy paradise.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our first time at the Mauna Kea and staying at your beautiful house, and we can just say, "Oh. My. Goodness." It is absolutely beautiful! You are the best decorators ever. A total Hawaiian feel! There were so many interesting items to look at and read about. I especially noticed the shell collection at the inside entrance. Two HUGE floor-standing units filled to the brim with shells! The pool was the perfect temperature every day. Next to time spent sleeping, the pool claimed the remainder of our time at the house; especially during sunsets. What a view! Hopefully you've seen some of my time lapse videos of the sunset from your back yard. There was not a room in the house we did not enjoy. The dinning room with glass wall to ceiling windows and doors allowing breath taking sunset family dinners, in addition to the dinners out on the lanai using that awesome BBQ grill. The lanai wine refrigerator kept our beverage of choice to perfection! As they say on the island, Mahalo! We will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of five had a marvelous time at this wonderful 3 bedroom house overlooking Mauna Kea resort. Terrific furnishings, bedding, professionally equipped kitchen, and pool. Everyone had space to “do their own thing” whether it was playing cards, relaxing poolside or gazing at the ocean. Sunsets were spectacular and the evening sky was wonderfully clear. Our stay included access to the prized Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Prince beaches, pools and other amenities like the modern fitness center at the MK. Our crew also enjoyed the location too, it was just far enough away from the commotion that comes with the Waikoloa and Mauna Lani resorts, but close to the restaurants in Kawaihae. We highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Our stay in your beautiful condo was wonderful. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and spacious, which allowed our group of seven to enjoy our vacation together yet not feel crowded. The location is excellent and we enjoyed the first class amenities available to us through the sister properties, Hapuna Prine and Mauna Kea. We definitely look forward to returning in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Our stay at this condo was perfect! The ocean view from the lanai is gorgeous. We had access to both hotels at the Mauna Kea resort, the beaches, restaurants, 2 golf courses,pool,work-out room and more. Our kids loved the pool, hot tub - they did'nt want to leave. The condo has everything you need plus many luxuries. Even with 6 people we still had our own privacy, the condo is very spacious. We're going back in July!Owner response: Janice, We are so happy you all enjoyed your stay...We welcome you all back in July! Aloha
