We returned from Maui on January 31st. This was our 6th trip to there but the first time to stay at the Kaanapali Shores. We were familiar with the complex because we have stayed close by in our previous trips and have had dinner at the restaurant there. We rented directly through the owner. He was very easy to work with and was great about getting back to me promptly with any questions I had. This unit was lovely, clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. We were there for 3 weeks and did not want to leave. The Garden Pool area at the complex was lovely and they kept it well stocked with beach towels. We also enjoyed the hula night they had on Weds. evening. It is close to stores and also to the town of Lahaina, which we love. I would highly recommed this unit and would stay there again. Hopefully in a couple of years we can get back there. Nancy & Bill

We spent 10 days at this great location over Christmas and New Years - what a great time we had! The suite was great - very spacious for the 2 of us. We enjoyed the view, the amenities including tennis and a beautiful pool and beach area. Ken was so great to deal with - very prompt to reply and very fair in his price! Would definitely stay there again. There were some great restaurants very close and groceries near by as well. Very enjoyable stay.!

all though the condo is somewhat out dated, it is a very nice place to stay, the unit was very clean. close to the beach,great pool, great amenities there are lots of great activities to do in/around kaanapali the customer service of the owner is next to none! looking forward to staying again!!

Honeymoon

We loved our honeymoon to Hawaii it was amazing. The room had a great view and was good for our trip. Just needs some upgrading like new carpet and flooring with old stains on the floor. But with a couple of upgrades it would be the perfect unit. Kaanapoli shores is a great resort. Owner was also great to deal with. Thanks again we had a great time

Kaanapali Shores Penthouse Rental Studio

This was our first visit to Maui with two teenage boys. The property is situated in an excellent, well maintained grounds. The penthouse itself is clean and adequate for four. The view from the balcony is breath-taking. Having two pools and two spas is definitely a big plus. Expedia on site service for your activity planning is simply great. The grocery store and a few restaurants are within walking distance from the property. The beach is most inviting for families with kids. My only recommendation would be to restock items in the kitchen as its not sufficient for a family of four. Recommend this property and the weekly rental price is unbeatable.

Great place to stay

This rental unit was a great place to stay. It was a convenient location situated close to the beach, grocery store, not far from Front St., and other great things to do. The property itself was kept clean, however, there were some discolored patches on the carpeting by the bathroom area, and the bottom of the tub was a little discolored. This just means that the unit needs a little updating. It didn't make any difference to me. The owner of the unit was very helpful, the staff in the main lobby were very lovely and also helpful, and it was a wonderful stay overall. I would recommend this unit to anyone and everyone because my husband and I had such an enjoyable experience. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the restaurant downstairs, but to be fair, we only ate there once.

I just returned from a fabulous week in Maui. I've stayed at the Aston Kaanapali Shores before and knew the location was perfect for me! This unit was also fabulous. It was clean and the views were incredible. You can hear the ocean from the room. I loved the decor. The bed was super comfy. I love that it's on the top floor with nobody above me making noise. I would absolutely recommend this unit to a friend and would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and the beach is right there! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Ken was always prompt with a reply when booking my reservation.

My fiance and I just returned from a 7-day trip to Maui. This condo was excellent. In a great location (just north of Lahaina). The employees were extremely helpful and very accommodating. The unit itself was very clean, organized, and just perfect. It was great to have a full kitchen, as we cooked a lot of meals while we were there. Parking is additional - $9 per day, however it's nice to be in a covered garage. We didn't spend much time at the pools on the grounds, however, they seemed very nice. There is also a small beach access area (we went elsewhere for the beaches). I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed! Aloha!

My husband & I just enjoyed this as our home base for a week in Maui. The unit is well located for walking the whole North Kaanapali resort area. It is great to be able to hear the Ocean roar all night every night & there was no direct sun on the unit, which kept it comfortable with the benefit of the view.

Very nice and clean ! Great location. Bus stops right outside to Whalers Village and Lahaina. Everything was just perfect!
