Why the Owner Chose Black Hawk Lofts
We are a family of 6. We wanted to be close to the mountain in the summer & the winter; this allows us to reach the gondola in minutes for skiing & mountain biking. We also wanted to be close to the Yampa core 8 mile walking/bike trail for easy access in the summer for kayak or tube floating the river, or walking, & biking to reach all the sports complexes without being on the roadways! We achieved that goal extremely well. We also wanted to be near all bus shuttle routes so we would not always need a car! We were looking for style & comfort, & WOW, all goals achieved!

Our family of four with a 5 and 3 yr old stayed here in September 2011. The place is perfect in everyway. Very clean and modern. We loved the hot tub. Kim was wonderful to work with and made sure that we were happy. Highly recommended.

This townhome is amazing!!! There is nothing about this place that will not live up to / surpass your expectations. Every detail, every gorgeous view, every comfort of home, all above and beyond what you might imagine. The owners of this property are just as amazing as the place it self, easy to comunicate with, fast to responde to questions, willing to help you in any way that they can. Definitely an under promise and over deliver type experience. If your looking for an affordable place with a great location, and plenty of room. This is the place for you. I would recommend this property to anyone that would take the time to listen. I couldn't possibly express what an over the top experience that we had in this unit. We will be back again!!!

We are a small Bookclub from Denver and we had the priviledge to stay for a weekend at this beautiful home in September during the Literary Sojourn held annually in Steamboat. It is a perfect home! Comfortable, beautiful, clean, spacious, up-to-date, perfect location......! It's even better than described and we would highly recommend this to any Steamboat visitors ---- summer, fall, winter or spring. We will be back! (and Kim was awesome to work with!!)

My wife and I spent a long weekend with our kids getting married in June at the top of Steamboat Mountain. The accommodations we stayed in were exceptional. The Vonk's Blackhawk townhouse is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everything was in perfect order when we arrived. We had exceptional privacy and plenty of space. I have stayed in many places in Steamboat and this was by far the nicest place I have ever stayed in. Kim, the owner, is a great lady and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this townhouse in winter or summer!

We have stayed in many VRBO condos and this is one of the best. The owners have made the place feel like a home, which one feels privileged to share. It is contemporary, classy and most importantly, comfortable. The condo exceeds its description and images. The kitchen is nicely appointed and each room has a unique, thoughtful touch. Our family of four had a terrific time over Memorial Day weekend. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return. Our stay was amazing and the snow on the mountain for skiing was even better! Knee deep, classic Steamboat champagne powder, just awesome! The gondola was a quick & easy three - five minute walk - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Your condo was absolutely stunning and execellent for our yearly trip with friends to Steamboat. We'll be back next year - and we'll be telling our friends an family about your place, as it's the perfect place to stay in Steamboat. (close to the resort, easy access to downtown - and condo is equipped with everything needed, and more!) Thanks again Kim for the extra information about things to bring, places to eat and area activities - it made our stay that much more enjoyable!

We were a group of four couples who stayed in Blackhawk for ten days in February 2010. Everyone thought the unit was fabulous - it is spacious and well laid out and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.The owners have thought of eveything. The hot tub at the end of a ski day was a highlight.It was in a great location for accessing the mountain with only a few minutes walk to the gondola, restaurants etc. The shuttle stop for getting to town is only a minute's walk.Kim and Don were extremely helpful from the moment we made initial contact and made everything easy including all sorts of info for ski rental shopping etc. All of our group loved Steamboat and the friendliness of everyone we met.We'll definitely be back. We highly recommend this "top shelf" property for a great stay at Steamboat. Kathy and Matt Campbell - Brisbane Australia .

This property is everything the owner says it is and more. Its beautifully decorated with top of the line appliances. Everything is well furnished and the hot top on the top floor is fantastic!! You're also very close to the slopes and town. A great property.
