Location: Soldotna, Alaska, USA (Kenai River Property)
Accommodations: Cabins, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 12-22)
A Wandering Moose is located on the banks of the Kenai River just outside of Soldotna, Alaska, making us a perfect place to "home-base" while you explore the peninsula. A Wandering Moose is the perfect place for the beginner fisherman or someone who wants to fish privately. There is wilderness across the river and behind us so the only people you will see are those in boats, yet we are only four miles from downtown Soldotna. We offer three cabins and a main lodge which is ideal whether there are a couple of you or a large group. Spend your free time fishing from the dock equipped with a fish cleaning table and stairs for access into the river.
For the "non-fisherman" the Kenai Peninsula offers biking, hiking, white water rafting, float trips, flight-seeing trips, glacier tours and more. Perhaps you'd enjoy local visitor centers, souvenir shopping or just settlings in with a good book in the privacy of your cabin or in one of the hammocks by the river. We also have a viewing area here where you can sit in comfortable chairs and watch others in your party fish from the bank.
Let us arrange a package priced for all your vacation needs. We recognize that everyone’s "perfect vacation" is as individual as people. That is why we customize packages to suit You. Feel free to call us at your earliest convenience if you'd like us to work something up for you.
