As it is often the case with property descriptions the negatives are left out and you will not know them before you show up. The positivs mentioned are true. I would like to add some of the surprises to create some balance to the description so that guest are informed in advance. This property is wedged in between the main Tahoe Northshore highway and the lake. The house and three of the five bedrooms are 15 feet from this very busy road. You hear the constant traffic from anywhere of the property 24hours a day and you cannot sleep in these bedrooms without earplugs. Plastic Christmas garlands (in June) all over the house (incl Lighted plastic Christmas tree in master bedroom) is a matter of personal design preference. Quiet a few things did not work in the house such as dishwasher, microwave, no towels in half the bathrooms etc. the house sits in the shade and sun only hits the front of the property a few hours a day. Summer ...$5000/week. $725 per night after Aug 17. 10% off Aug 17-Sept 30 Winter .. $500/night .. $3500/week. Cleaning: $300 10% Placer county room tax on top of the rental. $200 linen fee. Spring and fall special Stay 3 nights and get the fourth night free. Stay 5 nights and get the 6th and 7th night free - fall is off reg. summer rates Spring: April 1 to May 24 (or after ski leases end) Fall: Sept 23 to Nov. 23.
