This was our second stay in this unit, and it again proved to be above our expectations. This is a very clean, comfortably furnished unit that includes a well-equipped kitchen. This unit has a view from the livingroom and balcony that is picture postcard perfect! This gorgeous view can also be enjoyed from the kitchen while preparing light meals and snacks. We enjoyed relaxing on the spacious balcony on top-quality outdoor furniture, overlooking the bay watching surfers, boogie-boarders, and kite-surfers while we sipped on delicious Kauaiian grown coffee. We also utilized the Weber grills for delicious BBQ's. The water temperature of the large in-ground pool was perfect for swimming, and we also enjoyed your private beach. We were so thrilled to see Hawaiian monk seals resting on this lovely beach almost every day of our two week stay! They are SO BEAUTIFUL! Lae Nani is a perfect central location for day visits to ALL areas of the island, and is close-by to Coconut Marketplace for gifts/souvenirs, grocery stores, a beautiful golf course, a coastal bike/walking path, many restaurants, and so much more! The owners of this unit are wonderful to rent from, they are quick to respond with any questions, and provide helpful information within their unit for their guests concerning "what to see and do while on Kaua'i." We couldn't have been more pleased and we highly recommend this Lae Nani unit for your dream vacation to Kaua'i. Another Great vacation in Kauai

Once again we had a wonderful time in Kauai and Lae Nani, even with weather not as nice as last year. This time we were able to go to Smith Family Luau. Food was great, service was just as good and it was fun to do it in more of a “family” atmosphere. The Luau is little touristy as any these type of events, but if you are in Kauai and never been to one, we highly recommend it. This luau is much better than similar events at other places. Bike path in Kapa’a is another good bet and you can easily rent 2 bikes for two hours right behind the Ono Family Restaurant in Kapa’a. Two hours is just enough for a relaxed round trip on the path. Also this time we did a helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian and flight over Kauai is definitely worth the expense. Book on internet at least 5 days ahead and you can save over $50.00 for a couple. The best Restaurant for the $ and also quality seafood is only 7 minutes away walking north on the beach - Hukilau Lanai in Kauai Coast Resort. We also recommend Monicos Mexican restaurant also walking distance from the condo - great fish tacos and other fair. We are back home for two weeks now and we are already prepared to return to Lae Nani and Kauai.

Hello, Kristine, David and I had a wonderful time at your lovely condo--and on Kauai in general. We are very active and oriented to outdoor activities, so we were pleased with the beach access, and the proximity to kayaking, hiking, snorkeling and other great activities. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. We found your condo to be everything you promised. It was clean, well-equipped, and the entire atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for and what we needed. We will definitely return and we will certainly choose your condo when we do. Beautiful Beach/Pool Front location

Everything described about this place was correct and I found it to be better than what I had hoped. It was easy to find and to access. The place is very elegant. The property is quiet on beautifully maintained landscaped grounds. You have access to a beautiful pool, baby pool, private beach and many more amenities within walking distance. There is a lanai that you can sit on for hours and gaze out on the pool, beach, or bay. The condo is extremely clean and well kept. It is well furnished with every amenity you can think of ( and many you did not think of). It is very quiet and serene especially at night. I can't think of a place I stayed at that was cleaner or more elegantly furnished then this place. You can walk out of your condo and you have the option of lounging at the pool, floating in the baby tide pool, taking a swim or a jog up the beach. There are restaurants and shopping centers within a short walking distance as well. In short, this place was beautiful, elegant, and serene!!! The only thing I didn't like was having to leave! I would recommend this place to many couples, newly weds, or start up families. It was fantastic!!! Well worth the trip!!!

Vacation on Kauai

We stayed at the condo for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. The condo and adjoyning property was well appointed and clean and the staff for the whole property was friendly and if approached, helpfull as well. The area has easily accessable restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. We were surprised that a rare Monk seal choose to take a rest at the properties beach. Kristine is very pleasant and straight forward to deal with and in case of any communication problems, she is very helpful in straightening those out. My wife and I can only recommend her highly and given a chance to go back to Kauai, would try to stay at her place again.

We very much enjoyed the time we spent in your condo in Kauai. We chose Kapaa because it was so central to everything on the Isle. The location and setting of your condo was perfect for us and the proximity to the airport, costco, and other shopping made Lae Nani the ideal location. The condo itself was very comfortable, clean, and offered all the little extras that made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. The setting was spectacular, the grounds beautifully kept, the grounds staff friendly and efficient,and the extra large pool more than we expected. We had a great time on our stay on Kauai. Your condo was perfect. We were nicely surprised when we entered in to see the beautiful view of the ocean, pool and how tranquil the place was. The condo was very clean, all necessary items provided and we even found coffee filters, spices and multiple other things in your cupboards to help in everyday food preparation. The furniture in the condo and lanai is very nice and of good quality you expect in the home, not rental. We had a wonderful weather all the time, but if not your nice flat screen, DVD and video would come handy. We did use it few times after renting DVD from Redbox dispenser in Foodland store nearby. We did not have a bad meal on the island, but we especially liked Hukilau Lanai restaurant just two complexes north from us. We recommend walking the beach path and you will land there in 5 minutes. Also the Farmer Market (there is one in Kapaa on Wednesday at 3 PM) is a must. All the fresh, beautiful fruit and so little time. We stayed in Kristine’s condo 10 days and we thought that this maybe little long for Kauai, but we were very surprised and wished we could stay a month or more. There is no AC in the condo, but that is really a plus as you are not jumping from warm to ice cold and with being so close to the ocean and all the windows that can be safely left ajar, there is a constant breeze through the unit, and nice fans (3) helped along and make the unit very comfortable all the time. We loved the sound of the ocean, the trade winds and the view is great. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully we will be able to stay in unit 123 again! Thank you Kristine.

This Place is "Heaven on Earth!!!"

"PHENOMENAL," sums up our experience at this Lae Nani condo unit. From the first moment we stepped through the doors, to the saddening reality of having to leave... each day was pure pleasure, full comfort, every amenity needed was provided, simply... "heaven on earth!" The view from the living room/dining room/balcony deck was postcard perfect! We even could enjoy the gorgeous view while preparing light meals in the well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the grills for preparing some of our meals, as well. The beach area... including the natural coral rock safety barrier, was fabulous for safety during the rough winter ocean currents. It was relaxing lounging by the pool, and very private. We were so appreciative for the beach chairs and small cooler for our numerous picnics while on our island excursions. We loved every minute of everyday! We are already looking forward to a return trip (hopefully in 2012) and will definitely plan to stay at this lovely Lae Nani condo unit. Thank you so very much, Kristine & Irving, for sharing your "slice of heaven on earth" with us. It truely made our 25th anniversary memorable! Suggestions for anyone reading this review: LOOK NO FURTHER! THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY WHILE ON KAUAI.... MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS TODAY and have a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable vacation! A must "to do" while on Kauai... the helicoptor tour of the island (we chose Blue Hawaiian) & Zip Lining (we chose "Just Live"). Any Quilters? Don't miss the quilt shop in Lihue. Best Hawaiian shaved ice on the island? Our vote: the Wishing Well on the North Shore. Best "safe" winter beaches? Lydgate (next door to the condo) and Poipu (located on the Southshore). There's so much more we could share... but we'll leave you with one last word....it's "PARADISE!"

What a wonderful time we had staying in your condo. We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in to see the beautiful view of the ocean, pool and grounds much closer than we thought they would be. The condo was very clean and well taken care of as well as the furniture which was nice and comfy. We loved the sound of the ocean and the trade winds were heavenly. We used the barbeque grill one evening and ate on the lanai - so relaxing!! The fact that you also provided beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, etc. really was an added benefit. Thank you so much! Kristine and Irving, We can't say enough great things about your condo-everything was perfect and we were all so sad to leave. Thank you so much for the use of your home! Condo was clean, safe, and quiet with beautiful grounds. Our children LOVED the pool, and the beach. On our last night we watched two sea turtles playing in the surf only about 4 feet away from shore for well over an hour---both kids loved this! Our vacation to Kauai quickly moved into the Number One spot for family vacations---the beaches, the snorkeling, the boogie boarding combined with the perfect location of the condo---it's going to be number one for along time or until we go back! Thanks again---the condo is perfect and provided a nice, safe and relaxing home base after our long days at the beach. Very nice & well appointed condo. Perfect location between North & South beaches. Close to shopping & grocery stores. Quiet & private. Second floor is nice because you can leave the lanai doors open at night and catch the breeze. Widescreen TV and wireless internet is a nice touch. Pool & BBQ area is extremely nice.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in Kristine's Lae nani condo, PERFECT! It is beautifully furnished, spacious, spotlessly clean and what a view! Our family just spent 10 wonderful days in this Condo! The condo was perfect! It felt like we were saying at a friend's home. I loved sitting out on the patio every morning with my coffee and enjoying the view of the ocean and the mountains. We saved a lot of money by eating in the room often and we also grilled out on the grill several times. The kids had a great time boogie boarding right on the beach there. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We did lots of snorkeling and visited several beaches while we were there. We found that the location was also perfect for us. Easy access to the North or South. I don't think we could have stayed at a nicer place or location!

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit at Lae Nani. The complex is the right size in a convenient, yet quiet, location. Pool area, grounds and beach are very nice. This particular unit is attractively decorated and well-appointed. It is quite large and the lanai is perfect for dining. We really liked having a second floor unit so we could keep the lanai glass door open. I would gladly return here.

Kristine and Irving, we had a great week at your Lae Nani Condo! It offers all of the comforts and conveniences of home, plus a location that makes every point of beautiful Kaua'i accessible within 45 minutes! We ventured to the nearby Cocount Marketplace to purchase all of our souvenirs, and ate at Hukilau Lanai restaurant within walking distance. Unit #123 provided the perfect base to tour all of Kauai while still taking advantage of everything that Lae Nani offers. A perfect combination! Not sure what was better, the sunrises at the Hawaiian ruins, relaxing at the pool or enjoying the very nicely furnished condo unit and patio. Thank you Kristine for a wonderful vacation! Everything about the condo was great. The views were amazing and the ocean is very close. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach the whole time you are there. The pool a nice amenity if the current is too strong to swim at the condo.The location is perfectly located in the center of the east coast. This puts you within a short and beautiful car ride from anything on the island. The condo had everything we needed while staying there. There was even a cooler in the pantry which was great for day excursions. I was very impressed and would recommend this condo to anyone traveling to Kauai. Thanks again Kristine. My wife and I hope to make it back soon.

We have stayed in several VRBO rentals and this unit is one of the best we have visited! The condo is like new and very tastefully decorated. There was nothing that we needed during our stay that wasn't furnished. The unit is within walking distance of several very nice restaurants(I highly recommend the Hukilau Lanai) When viewing the photos remember that a camer lens distorts distance. The unit is actually closer that the pictures depict. Have no concern about no A/C. The ocean breeze along with the ceiling fans make for very pleasant temps. We can't wait until we can return to this lovely unit.
