Just minutes from the world-class golf and tennis of Kapalua and Kaanapali, as well as the historic town of Lahaina. Some of Hawaii's best beaches are within minutes! Spectacular views of the islands of Molokai & Lanai, breathtaking sunsets and whale watching . . . all from your large patio. Snorkel, swim, kayak, surf right off our shore. Lots of turtles have been around lately.
Totally remodeled in 2006, this spacious 1 bedroom unit has everything, including a beautiful GRANITE KITCHEN with a four stool breakfast bar that over looks the living area and with FULL views to the pool and ocean from the kitchen, living room and patio!Comfortably sleeps 4 adults and is great for families. The granite bath has a large step-around shower with slate and glass blocks. The bath sink is in a separate room so more than one can get ready at the same time. The condo is fully equipped and beautifully decorated with matching high-end Hawaiian style furnishings. The bedroom has a king size bed, and the living room has a queen sleeper. The private, gated tropical grounds are serene and 'old hawaii.' The oceanfront pool (see picture), jacuzzi and BBQ make for a relaxing time - you might be tempted not to leave the property! Our private sandy beach is very unique for the area - a real treat. You can swim with the sea turtles right off our private beach...just four steps down from our BBQ area!
For our guests: boogie board, floatation tubes, 2 top-of-the-line portable beach chairs, beach umbrellas, lot's of sand toys, 2-3 good snorkeling masks, and more.

Testimonial: Our time on Maui couldn't have been better. And the condo and it's location are absolutely perfect. We rented a Jeep and immediately went to Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina, also traversed the island another day! Took the road to Hana, went to the shops in Wialeah & ate at Mamma's Fish House.

Testimonial: Our week at Hale Mahina (Unit B-202) was exceptional in every way. First there is the prime location with respect to the town of Lahaina and the small West Maui communities from Kaanapali to Kapalua. Every vacation need including shopping (from groceries to souvenirs), land and water activities, restaurants, and supporting services can be found within an eight minute walk of the condo complex.
Additionally, the great on-property beach access provides a quick and easy way to sample the sheltered waters of the West Maui coast. The condo itself far surpassed both the website photos and our personal expectations. It's second floor location provides spectacular views of the pool, beach and the islands of Molokai and Lanai.
The décor is wonderfully Hawaiian and everything in this unit is of the finest quality. It is equipped for every possible cooking and entertainment need from basic dishes to a blender and a pizza machine. An additional plus is the presence of a washer/dryer in the unit. There is both private parking on site and controlled access to the pool and gardens at Hale Mahina.
Although there are approximately forty units in the complex, we never felt crowded or limited in our access to the beach, the pool, the BBQ grills, or space or lounges for sunbathing. The on-sight manager and gardener are excellent sources of information and are extremely helpful with recommendations for sight seeing, restaurants, and both land and sea activities.
We rented two units at Hale Mahina (one for a couple and the other for a couple and two children ages 7 and 10) and found that 2-4 people per unit works extremely well and is both more efficient and economical than accommodations in a hotel would have been.
We highly recommend unit B-202 at Hale Mahina and will long remember our visit there. It has a great location, outstandingly furnished, wonderful views, a superior beach, pool and Jacuzzi and small enough to be called intimate. We will most certainly return on our next trip to Hawaii.

We had a great visit. The condo description is accurate. It is very nice, clean and well maintained. The photos are accurate. The beds are comfortable (even the sofa bed). There is an elevator for easy access for people needing assistance. However, there are 2 steps down from the hall to the kitchen and a step up into the shower which might limit access for some people. The property can be a little noisy during the day but very quiet at night. I looked as several of the nearby buildings and this complex is the most private and relaxed. Parking is very easy and you do want to have a vehicle while staying here. There is a short drive to grocery store and restaurants in Kaanapali or Lahaina. We saw lots of whales and several sea turtles. The grounds are well kept with a nice pool and lawn furniture. The sandy beach is clean and there is good access to snorkeling (rocks right off the beach) and just playing in the water over a sandy bottom. We plan to return next year for 2 weeks. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+.
