This house is unique in San Miguel. It is on a large property with extensive gardens. The house itself is built all on one level making it ideal for older guests. It is in a traditional Mexican style with great ambience. The house and gardens have recently been completely updated and refurbished. The house combines outdoor living with indoor comfort. Each room has modern gas heaters for the occasional cold nights. The patio surrounds a courtyard with a fountain and heated pool.
This is an especially nice house for families and wedding parties. There are 3 guest bedrooms in the front of the house and 1 master suite that has its own entrance. The master suite has a large sitting room, enormous master bath with exercise equipment, gas fireplaces, TV, etc. Of course all of the modern necessities are available including cable TV, broadband internet and VOiP, or internet, phone service for cost free calls to the U.S.
In addition to the bedrooms there is a warm living room with TV and stereo, a dining room that seats 8, an up-to-date kitchen and a warm inviting breakfast room - also with a TV.
What makes this house truly outstanding is the professional, friendly, staff. Diana, the cook, has been providing delicious meals for many years. Jose-Luis serves and makes the world's best margarita's. Maribel takes care of cleaning and laundry. And Pedro keeps the plants at their best.

We've been privileged to have spent 2 amazing vacations at this home. The space is wonderful allowing many choices outdoor for adults and children alike. The pool is a generous size but doesn't overwhelm the courtyard space plus large backyard allows ample room for spirited games of soccer or kickball if they kids (or adults) ever tire playing in the water. The home isn't as central as some, but still an easy (and flat) 15-minute or so stroll to the jardin. Helpful staff, wonderful cook and all around a terrific option for your visit to SMA.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
