Spend a relaxing vacation in a beautifully new building which consists of two units, top and lower. Each has two bedrooms and both share the Palapa shared viewed roof deck. Both units have their own balconies or outdoor area and share the use of the garden. onsite also is the old adobe house where our care taker resides. Ideal location for family's and those without transport. Just a 10 minute walk from the center of town on a shaded palm lined paved road with a irrigation canal running along side. You don,t need a car to get around. Most of the other rentals and hotels are on dusty dirt roads but ours are on one of the view paved roads with pavements. Buses run regularly to La Paz, Cabo, and San Jose. These buses are first class and will cost around $9 one way. Coming from San Jose Airport, you can get a Taxi from airport to main bus station in San Jose and the bus to Todos Santos. La Paz is great for shopping and outdoor market, allot nicer than Cabo, which is hot and smoggy. Rental cars can be hired in Todos Santos if needed. Great location for those who don't want to drive to restaurants, beach or town. The walls are 2 feet wide which keeps the house cool. It's a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach which has a fresh water lagoon where you could take a cool dip.
2007 New great cafe and yoga center opened up across the road from house, great breakfast & coffee. Its called "La Esquina" and has Music some nights
We just took on a live in Manager/caretaker for 2010. Her name is Nancy and she has two boys ages of 4 and 6 who lives in the Bodega at the rear of the property. She has a business behind Cafe La Esquina, two Min's walk from the house if needed to be reached. She will be available to help you with any information you may need. She will point you the best hidden restaurants in town, best beaches, where to shop, etc.
On the hottest days you can lounge in a landscaped shaded garden or in the cool environment of an adobe house. Within a few minute walk there are taco and pollo asada stands, mini markets, and a fabulous bakery.
Barajas Tacos is a great place to stop for an full inexpensive mail for the whole family. "Our favourite place to Eat in town, $15 for a family of 4"
Yard has hammocks, tree house, volleyball court, sand box, telescope, covered patio with BBQ, camping, and fishing gear, and dozens of fruit trees (pineapple, mandarin, banana, guava, coconut, pomegranate, grapefruit). Even in the hottest of weathers the house and garden are cool with plenty of shade.
Indoor entertainment includes video and dvd/cd player, over 500 video, many of which are classics; board games, children's toys and books for all ages.
Activities and Attractions:
Todos Santos is a gorgeous historic town that has something for all ages and interests including:
Swimming, surfing, sunbathing, whale watching, hiking, Art galleries, fine restaurants, shopping
Playground, cultural museum. About a 1 hour drive to Cabo or La Paz.
Todos Santos was just voted a "Magic Town" by the Mexican government and is pedestrian friendly and well maintained.
A beautiful Cafe has just opened across the road from us in December 2007 and these people will be adding a Yoga center and garden nursery in the next month or so.

Joyce,We just came back from Todos Santos. Just wanted to thank you and congratulate you for your beautiful house! We were VERY happy there, and enjoyed every bit. You have great taste in everything, and we were very comfortable with our kids. We´d love to rent the house again, in Semana Santa, if it´s available, and stay there a week, if possible. Again, congratulations on making such a beautiful home, and on rescuing such a treasure. We´re both architects, so we admired the adobe house and the roof the whole time!
