Two floor, 7 room condominium in Abbey Springs (in Fontana on Geneva Lake). Great for a family vacation! This condominium is walking distance to the the best lake in Wisconsin. The lake is big (27 miles of shoreline) and clean (rock bottom...most Wisconsin lakes are sand or dirt bottom...yuk!), and this lake has a nightlife (I suggest Chuck's, or Gordy's for the younger crowd). You will also find 4 star golf in Abbey Springs, or several other golf courses within a short drive (Grand Geneva, Geneva National, etc.)
The Condominium:
Nearly everyting in this condo is new. It was rehabed in 2006. Also, we are in the furniture business, so we have furnished this condo with all high end furniture.
Two full bath, 2 bedrooms for adults, and a fun loft kids bedroom (can sleep up to 4 kids).
First floor: Full Kitchen (new fridge & microwave July 2007), full bath, TV room with large leather sectional and porch.
Second floor:TV room with large leather sofa, 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, Third bedroom with loft (bunk-bed and a trundle bed in loft), full bath, outdoor deck.
All linens and bedding are included.
In Abbey Springs:
JUST COMPLETED (Fall 2008): Multi-Million Dollar renovation to ALL facilities at Abbey Springs! New Pro Shop, Restaurants, Pro Shop, Pools, Locker rooms, basiclly everything is new!
Check out this 320 Acre resort community online at abbeysprings,com. You will be walking distance to Abbey Springs Country Club, Golf Course, driving range, and practice green, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, whirlpool, tennis courts, and Abbey Springs (private) beach for swimming and sunbathing on beautiful Geneva Lake. You will also find beach volleyball and a basketball court just adjacent to the beach. You can also grab a bite to eat or a cool drink on the waterfront at "Below Deck" (next to the beach, under the yacht club). The Yacht Club has a restaurant, and a bar with a dance floor (live entertainment on most weekends)that overlooks Geneva lake. In Fontana:
You will be a short driving distance from downtown Fontana and the legendary Chuck's Lakeside Inn and Gordy's Bait shop for eats, drinks, and nightlife. Accross the street from Chuck's is The Abbey Resort and Spa, should you need to spoil yourself at the spa, or dine at one of the restaurants (Waterside Grill, Fontana Grill). Also, in front of Chuck's you will find jet-ski rentals, boat rentals, para-sailing, and a water ski school. Behind Chucks you will find a great park with a playground and baseball diamond. There is also a public boat launch with a parking lot to park your truck and trailer (That lot fills quickly, get there early!
PLEASE NOTE: No trailer parking in Abbey Springs. Some of our tenents have called Gordy's Marina to make arrangement to store the trailer at Gordy's off-site location.

Why the Owner Chose Fontana
I purchased this vacation rental because I grew up spending summer weekends in/around Geneva Lake. There really is not better way to "do" Geneva Lake than Abbey Springs. This private community has EVERYTHING! Plus, this side of the lake is WAAAAY better then the east side over by the town of Lake Geneva and all the riff-raff over there.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Park you car, because once you get to Abbey Springs, you don't need it anymore. Abbey Springs has everything...restaurants, golf, private beach, swimming pools, tennis courts, fishing pond.... all within walking distance. The only reason to leave.... got to get over to Chuck's for some Transfusions (the house cocktail over at Chuck's Lakeside Inn).
Up at the lake? You have to get over to here for a Chuck's burger and a Tansfusion (cocktail).
Owner's Map of Fontana
I was born and raised in Chicago, but spend most summer weekends in Lake Geneva...and most of that time is spent on my boat. I purchased this property a couple of years ago and use the rentals to help pay for all the expenses. Rented or not, I'm usually around the weekends...at my parents house (right up the street) when the condo is rented, or here when it is free.
