  This apartment is located in the very best location in Bath. There is a large grocery store a few minutes walk and most of the best restaurants/attractions are very close. The view is magnificent as is the apartment itself. You can eat at home or go out for meals but, the apartment is worth renting just to sit and look out of the very large windows.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  We've rented many lovely apartments throughout Europe, but this one stole the show. The location is perfect (within a few minutes walking distance to just about everything one might want to see or do in Bath), the view is stunning, the sound of the waterfall below lulled us to sleep at night, and the owners, Pam and Tim, provided us with everything we could have wanted, which made us feel completely at home. They gave us a warm and helpful greeting upon arriving, and bent over backwards to answer all of our questions and attend to our needs throughout the week. On weekend nights we could hear a small amount of noise in the rooms that faced the street, but the convenient location was worth that slight drawback. A wonderful little bakery/cafe is located just next door, and we found ourselves bringing home take away food from the restaurants because our view from the dining room could not be matched by the restaurants. Also, the kitchen is completely outfitted, so those who prefer to cook at home will not be disappointed. If you want to stay in Bath, this is the place to be!

  This was the perfect Bath accommodation during our Jane Austen trip to England. The owners greeted us at the apartment and had groceries, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to welcome us. The listing sounded idealized but was completely accurate in conveying the apartment's amenities and charm. Elegantly outfitted and well situated, the lodgings gave us easy access to all Jane Austen sites in Bath, then provided a luxurious evening retreat with unrivaled views. The beds were so comfortable--and the apartment is stocked with information on area attractions. I believe these owners have thought of everything for their guests' convenience. We long to return.

  This flat was all the description said it was and more. A beautiful apartment, in a wonderful location -- we walked to everything. Incredible views of the river and the city. Lots of tourist information. Comfortable beds. Warm, inviting living room with a gas fireplace. I would definitely recommend this location and would stay there again anytime!

  What you see is what you get, which in this case is a very good thing. The pictures, descriptions and reviews are spot on. Bath is a lovely town and this beautiful Georgian apartment is in a perfect location to enjoy it all. I was with 2 friends and there was plenty of room as well as privacy. If you want to enjoy Bath like the locals, this is your chance.

  My family and I just came back from a week spent in this appartment and were very pleased with its location and the kindness of its owners. As mentioned above in other comments, the sound of the river and the magnificient view from the flat is really something someone can appreciate and enjoy. We did hear people in the street at night during the weekend, but considering how conveniently close we were situated (at a walking distance of all the major attractions) I considered it normal to have witnessed a bit of the city nightlife ;-). The appartment is also close enough to the train station and bus services making it easier to travel around in other cities using these services. I would recommend this flat to anyone who wish to spend a week in bath, have fun, relax and walk around in this wonderful city.

  This is our second visit to this magnificent Pulteney bridge rental and we were excited to be back. All the amenities were in excellent working order and the apartment was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We did not hire a car as the rental is centrally located and we walked everywhere. We loved the Abbey and the Roman baths and dining in the wonderful Pump room again. The Sunday brunch is excellent and a "not to miss" on our visit. We also enjoyed the Bath Spa again, feeling so relaxed and well rested after our visit. The evening view from this rental is exquisite as well as the day time view.

  This is a beautiful, well appointed, well kept, spacious apartment in a perfect location. The views are outstanding. We spent an incredible spring week here that we will never forget. I cannot say enough good things about our entire experience.

  This was the finest rental my husband and I have ever stayed in! Excellent condition and everything we needed was supplied in the apartment. All in excellent working order. This rental was truely like being in our home away from home. It was a real luxury having an top quality washer and dryer at our diaposal, also. Enjoyed the very restful sound of the river Avon out our window - this was a dream rental and will highly recommend this to friends and family. The owners were very helpful in suggsting places of interest and fun eating stablishments. This rental far exceeded the listing discrption. Would highly rcommend The Royal Thermae Bath Spa for a day of luxury and pampering. Afterward, a meal in the famus Pump room.

  this property is so magnificent that it's hard to describe! the apartment was very personally furnished...it felt like someone's home. our contentment and happiness was important to the owners. they were very helpful regarding Bath and places to see and places to eat and just how to get around. making our stay in Bath all the more interesting and enjoyable. their attention to detail was incredible! we were extremely happy and consider ourselves very fortunate to have found this terrific property. would recommend this property to anyone with high expectations regarding where they spend their time and how they spend their money!
