SERENITY VIEW is a warm and lovely mountain home with 1850 square foot (3 Bedroom, loft w/full futon, 3 full Baths) of comfortable living space. It is located in the peaceful, serene and beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, North Carolina overlooking a portion of the Maggie Valley Golf Resort.
As you meander down to the end of a private road that takes you to Serenity View, you may begin to feel yourself relax and unwind as you breathe in the fresh scents of the pine & hardwood trees that surround the area and feel the cool mountain breezes. You will enjoy the feeling of privacy nestled away in the mountains & far removed from the hustle and bustle of hectic living; but yet, you'd be only minutes away from Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Resort or down town Waynesville.
This mountain home is tastefully decorated and features all the amenities and comforts of home. The main level features: a fully furnished kitchen complete with pots/pan/utensils, small appliances (blender, mixer, crock pot, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc), dining area (seats 8); bedroom with queen bed and sliding glass doors that lead out to covered porch and beautiful mountain views; full bath with laundry area; and living room w/half vault ceiling, wood burning fireplace; and sliding glass doors to covered porch with views of a portion of MVCC Golf Resort, pond and mountains. The upper level of the home features a loft with a full futon sofa, a leather rocker/recliner and an entertainment center with TV/DVD/VCR along with an assortment of DVDs and VHS as well as an array of books; a full bath; and the master bedroom with a king bed and 2 large windows w/views of the mountains. On the lower level of the home you have a bedroom with a queen log bed and full private bath, a game room w/a sitting area, dart board and air hockey table; and the pool room. The sliding glass doors from this room take you to the lowered covered porch. Here is where you'll enjoy the best part of your vacation - relaxing in the hot tub or sitting/swinging in the gazebo.
The hot tub is on an open deck where you can relax & enjoy the mountain views during the day or spend time star gazing at night.
Both covered porches have Adirondack chairs and gliders to sit in while soaking up the beautiful views of the mountains or enjoying the cool mountain breezes captured in the many beautiful trees that are a part of this great home.
Whether you're cooking hamburgers, steaks or hot dogs on the small gas grill, watching the children play on the swing set/fort in the small play area, sitting in the hot tub looking at the mountains/stars, or relaxing in the gazebo with a good book to read, you'll know why we named this PERFECT VACATION RETREAT "Serenity View". With its private & serene setting and great mountain views, Serenity View is a vacation retreat you'll want to come back to year after year.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES include: fireplace w/free firewood (for one night), privacy, 5 TVs (each bedroom), 2 DVDs, 2 VCRs, stereo with CD and cassette player, swing set/fort (Spring, 2007), washer/dryer, air conditioning, central heat, and an assortment of CRITTERS scurrying around (rabbits, squirrel, raccoon and occasionally some deer - but no bears!!)
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Cataloochee Ski Resort; Ghost Town; Tony's Tube World; miniature golf; Wheels Through Time Museum; horseback riding; hiking; fishing; skiing/snowboarding; golf; white water rafting; Folk Moot in July; several arts and craft fairs; the Elk of Cataloochee; Cherokee Casino; The Biltmore Estates and the 3 National Parkways (Smokey Mountain, Blue Ridge and Pisgah National Forest). Iron Tree golf is awesome! What a view!! Best golf vista of my life! Not very often that you go some place and every angle has been thought out. All the new items and decorations really show how much of a good entertainer you are. The wife and I had a great time. Thanks for everything.

Thank you for letting us enjoy this great house. Everything was fabulous. We saw 7 turkeys but no deer. We had great weather. The swingset was a great addition. The hot tub (or hot pool as the kids called it) was enjoyed daily. The kids played almost every game you had here on one rainy day. Thanks for the memories.

Thank you so much for the great mountain house. The views are wonderful. This was the perfect weekend for all of us long time girl friends to enjoy spending time together & a quick get away from work,kids, husbands, etc. Every year we take trips to the beach but we will now need to add this house as one we would definitely come back to year after year. The house was very well equipped & the hot tub was a hit. We were able to see deer roaming and best of all it was a beautiful snowy Saturday. Thanks again and the girls from Mt. Holly, NC would love to come back again soon!

Amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. The hot tub was romantic overlooking the beautiful smoky mountains. Relaxing in front of the cozy fireplace was a hugh perk. We are so happy we chose Maggie Valley to spend our honeymoon. From just relaxing at the cabin to skiing down the mountain. Everything we did just made this time unforgetable. We will be back next year and will recommend Serenity View to all our friends. Thank you so much for providing us such a beautiful cabin and great memories.
