We offer you two Victorian Inns in Newport ranked very high on Trip Advisor. One Victorian Inn is located in downtown Newport with just a short walk to the mansions, Thames Street, Easton's Beach or Cliff Walk. Just one block off Bellevue Ave, we are located in the old historic hill of Newport. You will be right in the center of the island's major attractions. The gardens are designed and maintained by the co-owner/master gardener. If you are a history buff, nature lover, gardener or antiquer, you will appreciate this home for its beauty and sophistication. We provide full gourmet breakfast in the summer and also specialize in specialty cooking such as gluten free or lactose free meals. You can rent the rooms individually OR rent as a house rental all to yourselves.
We offer a wide array of Vacation Packages that include in-room massages, flowers, mansion tickets, theatre tickets, chocolate and much more. Prices are either free or wholesale costs. We pass the savings on to you.
This is a full-time bed and breakfast as well so if you would like to rent rooms individually, that is also possible. Please call and let us know what your needs our and I am sure we can accommodate them. We are a B&B that makes it great for you to relax without feeling crowded. The house is big enough to get lost in.
The house is currently decorated with many family antiques and heirlooms so we ask for mature and considerate guests only as many of these pieces are priceless to our family and therefore irreplaceable. Children are permitted at your discretion if you rent the entire house.
Corporate Retreats, Conferences and Meetings are all welcome. Girls Weekends and Man-cations are also very popular here at our beautiful establishment. Rent the house for SuperBowl, Christmas, Birthday Party, Anniversary Party, or a family/ friends reunion. We also do Fully Interactive Murder Mystery Weekends in which you are a character that must proof your innocence by trying to discover the murder. Many storylines are available on our website.

Why the Owner Chose Newport
I chose Newport to live because it the only place in the world that has everything. It is an island in New England so it has four seasons but the seasons are mild. Newport is a busy, bustling city in the summer time but in the winter it is a quaint New England village. Rhode Island has over 400 miles of pure sand beaches with pristine, clean waters. You will see the air is fresh and the sounds are freshing. Newport is a fantastic walking and biking city. For years when I first moved here, I never even owned a car. I just walked everywhere because it was so easy. The locals range from your average, boat-builder "Joe" to the yuppy, billionaire "Winston". The conversations you will have when you sit down at the docks or in one of the many local bars is just unbelievable. It feels like a European town. You will notice how many people are trim and healthy. People dress nicely and treat everyone with respect. Newport is out of this world.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The greatest thing is our location is perfect. You can ask anyone who lives in Newport and they will all say that our neighborhood is the most ideal location. It is a relaxing, safe, quiet residential street filled with big, old, early Victorian mansions, yet it is an easy walk to either side of the island. We are located right in the center of Newport. In a jiffy, I can walk to the beach for a healthy jog on Cliffwalk in the morning or I can just as quickly stroll down to Thames Street for a delicous dinner at a wine bar. It is safe and secure so it comfortable to walk home at night from the nightclubs and bars.
The house itself is a masterpiece. It is 99% genuine antiques from the Gilden Age of Newport. The architect built it as a summer home so it requires very little air conditioning in the summer to keep it comfortable. The bannisters and crown moldings are just exquiste. The rooms are terrific. The yard is completely screened in with natural scrubs and trees providing a private space to decompress. You will feel so at home when you are here, sipping wine on the verandah watching the birds, rabbits and squirrels.
The first tennis in America was played here. It is the site of the Folk and Jazz Festival first night performance
