This property is great for large groups, meetings, conferences, and large families if you want to use your own quarters. There are three kitchens, all with their own living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, fireplaces, TV/DVD/VCRs, balconies, BBQs, kitchen amenities, linens, washers & dryers. Check out the photos to see the layout of the bedrooms on each level. From all the living rooms and decks, you can see a view of the lake. Wireless internet and satellite TV are included. On the grassy lawn, you can sit by a big fire pit and roast marshmallows around a bonfire. Pets are allowed, since we consider them part of the family and group event.
The condos are about 300 feet from the docks, children’s playgrounds, basketball court, horseshoes, dance hall, restaurant, and mini-market where they serve hand-dipped ice cream cones. Boat slips are included in the price, so bring your boat, jet skis, canoe or kayak. You can fish off those docks, too, or find a quiet fishing cove anywhere around the lake. Other activities to enjoy at the lake and in the area are skiing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, sightseeing birds and wildlife, bicycling, whitewater rafting, golfing, going to farmers’ markets, art shows, music festivals, and more.
The caretaker of the property, who lives up the street, will give you priceless tips on secret fishing holes and things to do at the lake or in the surrounding areas. He’s also really enthusiastic about helping you with what you need during your stay to make you feel comfortable and accommodated, and to make sure you have access to do the things you like to do during your vacation time.

Why the Owner Chose Mossyrock
I visited Mayfield Lake a few times with my family and friends and had such a good time with all the water activities that I decided to build here. The other reason was that it’s such a short distance between both Seattle and Portland that we can all meet and get here and back in a decent amount of time.
The more time I’ve spent at the lake, the more I realize how much it’s the center of so much to do for the whole family, keeping everyone busy and having fun, not only at the lake, but at so many places around it. I love this place. There are so many water activities to do at the lake. All the grandkids love it when “Grandpa” drives the boat all day long and pulls them around on inner tubes, ski biscuits, and water skis, and they beg me to take them to the Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water Park. We have also driven to the Mt. St. Helens Scenic Drive, the NorthwesTrek Wildlife Park, the town of Morton's Timber Festival, the Mineral Jazz Festival, and have visited a lot of the cute little towns in the area where we’ve found some great art. These are all great experiences for the kids.
