The master bedroom opens onto a deck with wooded views. The master suite contains a private, marble bathroom with a double vanity, an oversized,custom tile shower and a jetted tub. The second bedroom also opens onto a deck and has two twin beds along with a television with DVD/VCR. The third bedroom has a new pyramid bunk bed system with one twin bed up, a double bed below, and a twin roll out trundle below that. All bedrooms have Casablanca ceiling fans.
The custom kitchen/great room has soaring ceilings, a 50"+ Sharp Aquos HDTV and a full stack of media equipment. The interior stairwell features outstanding original, contemporary artwork. The kitchen features cabinets to the ceiling, Silestone counters, a dishwasher and a Jenn-Air cooktop. It is fully equipped with everything from a built-in multi-zone wine cooler, to a can-o-rama for storage to an Insta-hot water heater at the tap. Everything is designed for easy care and quick clean-up. The main living areas all have elegant tile floors, while the bedrooms are have neutral berber carpets. The office has a high-speed internet connection. There is a separate laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer.
You are a short walk to the sands of private Middlesex beach which is protected by life guards from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The home also is convenient to stores and restaurants as well as a short bike ride or walk to the Sea Colony Marketplace shopping mall and the Bethany boardwalk and town. You can enjoy tax-free shopping at the close-by Rehoboth Beach outlet malls as well as the many outstanding restaurants, clubs, and other entertainment opportunities there and in Dewey Beach and Ocean City, Md. There also are several excellent golf courses in the area that are open to the public. Fishing charters are available at the Indian River Inlet Marina as well as in Ocean City, Md.

I have rented or owned the property at this address since 1977. In 1990, we purchased the property. In 2004, we demolished the existing structure and built a new, year-round custom home of our own design. We love it!

Middlesex Beach is the ideal place for families of all ages. The beach is beautiful and because it is privately owned by the community, it never gets blanket-to-blanket crowded like other places. Our home is just a few short blocks from the ocean, yet is ideally located on a beautiful private lot in the woods. We walk to the beach in a moment day or night, yet enjoy bunnies and an occasional deer in the woods. At night, we can hear the waves. Our children love growing up in this safe, close-knit community.
