  First time using VRBO & what a great experience. Owners responded quickly to questions re: dates and other questions, transaction was trouble-free. Property is even nicer than the pictures represent: Spotlessly clean, very nice furnishings and bedding, a kitchen to die for with all the necessary equipment, dishes, etc. Very quiet & peaceful neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a nice view of the ocean. One morning there was a doe and 2 fawns across the street when we went out! Walking distance to beach, grocery stores and restaurants. The living room TV worked fine, we didn't try the other 2, didn't use the fireplace as it was really warm our entire stay but it would be wonderful in chilly weather. Loved the keypad system instead of keeping track of keys and would have appreciated a 3rd keypad on the exterior garage door to make parking in the garage simpler. The only even slight negatives are the hot tub outside the master bedroom which cycles frequently to maintain its temperature and is a bit loud. I sleep with headphones so didn't disturb my sleep but some may find it disturbing enough to turn down. The comfort of the bed made up for it anyway, we slept like rocks which is unusual. Also the 2 pocket doors in the master bath are heavy and don't slide easily - my arthritic fingers had a hard time with them. I just used the second bath which was completely fine but if we were sharing with another couple it might have been more of a problem. The rate is fair for the quality of the property and it would be a screaming deal if you shared it with more people. If I was planning another vacation in the area I would absolutely stay here again. It was great and I thank the owners for sharing their very nice home.

  This vrbo was nice and clean with the kitchen nicely appointed. We were traveling with one in a wheelchair and was assured the rental would be accessible with only one step at the entrance. Upon arrival, we could see that it was going to be a challenge to get my sister in the home as the vrbo sat on a very steep hill. Even though it states it is accessible, I would not recommend it to anyone with mobility issues. Upon entrance, we were very pleased with the neatness and overall atmosphere... although, it is much farther away from the water than we thought based on the pics shown. It was on to the outdoor deck to check out the spa. Unfortunately, when we lifted the lid, we were knocked back by the odor and there were all kinds of stuff floating around, a dark slimey substance and the bubbles were so big .....Big bummer! We did have a lovely dinner there using the grill .... and when the chill set in, we thought how nice a fire would feel. Flipped the switch and nothing ... referred to the home's manual and nothing worked. Pilot was off.... was difficult to get to work, but once working, we enjoyed the rest of the evening. Owners were notified by email and while we were out the next day, and without our permission, they sent their service over to "shock" the spa. We had left our things there, assuming they were secure. Upon return to the rental, late that afternoon, again a chill in the air... we flipped the switch for the fireplace, but this time we could not get it to work at all. I would not recommend this rental for anyone with mobility issues and don't hang your hat on the spa and fireplace, as we did. Otherwise, a nice place.

  Owner response: Thank you for the review. We had a family check-out the same day they checked-in and apparently, based on this review, had abused our hot tub. As soon as we were notified of the issue, we notified the guests that we were sending our maintenance person right over to clean the hot tub. We wanted to make sure they had a clean hot tub to enjoy during their stay. As for the gas fireplace, we have not had any issues with it in the past and have made sure it is functioning properly for future guests. In reference to accessibility, you must park on the hill to access the walkway to the home. There is one step along the walkway and one step into the home. Once inside, there are no steps. Although they had a couple issues, I am glad they enjoyed our home and their stay in Gold Beach.

  The home was nicely decorated, very clean and well maintained. Excellent location with good views and perfect for relaxing. We can enjoy the fireplace, ocean view and a movie all at once while sitting on the comfy sofas in the living room.

  Our family had a very relaxing stay here. It is very clean, new townhome. We needed a place to stay at the last minute, and the owner was quick in responding and helping us. We would stay here again! Restaurants; Spinner's for dinner, and Indian Creek Lodge for breakfast, both very enjoyable.

  The townhouse was beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you needed to make a meal for the family. We mostly cooked out on the grill and the kids loved the Belgian waffle maker! The hot tub was very relaxing late in the evening after a day walking on the beach or sightseeing. Having the washer and dryer was a savior because between the trips to the beach and hot tub there was a lot of wet clothes and towel usage. The only reason I am rating it at 4 stars instead of 5 is because we never could get the air conditioner to work, so we just used the ceiling fans and opened the sliding glass doors to let the ocean breeze blow through, which was fine most of the time. We also had an issue with the TV's in both bedrooms remote controls not working properly. The black binder with useful information was a handy tool to help find things in the area. I did update the tourist pamphlets that were on the counter because the one's there were from last year. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and none of us wanted to go home! Thanks Rob for the hospitality and the extra added touch with the getting started packages.

  Beautifully appointed and very clean. The ocean view is great from the master bedroom, the kitchen & the family room. It is well placed and fairly marketed.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
