This charming house with 6-person hot tub in Sonoma's lovely historic eastside offers the perfect relaxing get-away for a group of friends or families with children. Only 45 min - 1 hour's drive north of San Francisco. Conveniently located near Sonoma's historic and scenic town plaza (10 minute walk), which offers an array of dining, shopping and wine-tasting options in addition to historic sites such as the northernmost of California's famous Missions. Central to many spas, wineries and Sonoma's famous Train Town.

The house has two bedrooms (1 king, 1 double), very comfy queen sofabed and 1.5 baths. Beautifully landscaped private garden with outdoor patio area, including private 6 person hot tub and our brand new bocce/pentanque court! Back yard is huge open space with flowers and mature trees; both front and back yards are fenced in. Central heating and air conditioning. Nicely furnished throughout. Fully appointed kitchen. Wide screen television with satellite and DVD/VCR players. Computer with internet access included; WiFi also available.

Please note that we are located in a residential neighborhood, thus request that our guests keep outside noise to a minimum after 9:00pm.

Security deposit and $80 cleaning fee required. Signed rental contract and partial deposit required to hold dates.

  • My family stayed at the MacArthur Cottage May 17 - 21, 2009. It is everything as described plus many more features and is a mini-resort. The owners furnished everything that one would need to enjoy the stay. The location near the main square is good and the neighborhood is quiet. They were also very responsive to communications and were anxious to please. We will definitely stay there again.

  • Just got back from a weekend stay and can not speak highly enough of this house. Extremely warm, inviting and comfortable. The backyard and hot tub are amazing. Just minutes away from all the action but nice and quiet. You will not be disappointed if you rent this house.

  • What a wonderful home! My girlfriends and I stayed at this house last October and it far exceeded all our expectations. The website photos understates the quality of this home. They put so much care into this house and it's in a great location. I felt like I was staying at a friend's home. The beds are so comfortable. So comfortable in fact, we pulled the sheets off to see write down the mattress type. We cooked every night and the kitchen had everything I could have imagined needing. We sat on the porch in the evenings and sipped wine and talked about our days' adventures at the wineries. I hope they never sell this place, because we plan on going back and bringing our husbands next time.

  • What a very special place this is. We recently celebtrated the women in our family over Mother's Day weekend and couldn't have chosen a better location. The entire home is well appointed with comfy beds, a stunning back yard with hot tub and large dining table. Close proximity to the Sonoma Plaza and all that has to offer is a huge plus. We will be back!
