Couldn't have asked for a better set-up for what we needed. The house was very nice and the backyard, where we spent most of our time, was awesome. Would definitely stay again since it's so centrally located.

I liked this place. The interiors were great and the location was quiet. They have very good dvd collection of movies and songs. Spa was a great experience to us and the backyard was nicely arranged. Koy pond was really good and our kids enjoyed it. Not too far from local places and beaches. I can say we had a good time at this place and the owner Kitty was very helpful through the process of getting this reservation booked.

Kitty was very responsive and the house was very nice. Amenities were excellent and the location was extremely convenient to the convention center where we were attending a convention. Costco and other stores were not that far away. All supplies were well stocked. Just wish that there had been a bit more closet space for us to hang up our dresses and suits. Interesting and fun decor.

We were a group from NZ @ Australia & this place really was "home away from home", beds were so comfortable, excellent bathroom & kitchen facilities, with a lot of added extras, TV, music & DvDs. We didnt have a car but utilized a local shuttle company called Bon Voyage, then mastered the Metro so we weren't disadvantaged by the Long Beach location at all. It was so good to come "home" each night and rejuvenate in the spa pool. We are walkers and enjoyed the morning walks to Signal Hill for the views

We felt very much at home at this property. Lol, even the silver and some room colors were the same as we have. The owners were very easy to work with and did all they could to make sure you were comfortable. Two things I would recommend when staying at this home, If you have anyone in your party that is handicap, be sure to let the owner know, as the toilets are very low. If you are towing a trailer, careful not to block where the maintenance person brings out the garbage cans. The home is very comfortable and roomy, we had 11 people there and stayed for a whole week. Plenty of space to find some down time from one another..lol... If your on a tight budget and can not go to Disneyland....go to Knotts Berry plenty of rides and some shows there. They have a special Handicap parking area. But its abit of a walk from there to rent the shooters. Thank you for such a comfortable stay in your home.

Loved the kitchen equipped with spices, condiments, cooking oil and nearly any cooking gadget a person would want. The beds were comfortable and the three bathrooms clean and convenient. The oil derrick outside was silent on the weekend but noisy on Monday morning. As soon as the oil well is complete, the pump will be busy 24/7, but utterly quiet. We plan to stay here again sometime.

We live locally, in a very small home, and wanted to have a family gathering. This home was just perfect, and exactly as described. The home's outdoor amenities were perfect - very comfortable, modern, and easy to use. We wished we were going to be there longer so we could enjoy them all. Indoors, everything was very well maintained, and very comfortable. The size and layout of the kitchen and island made it easy for 5 people to move around. One of our guests is recuperating from a broken hip - and the house lived up to the claim of being "accessible" for walkers or wheelchairs. The owners provided a Renter's Guide, which provided all the information we might need about using the house and its amenities. We travelled less than 5 miles to reach the Long Beach Pike and Shoreline Village - with movies, the Aquarium, and many shops. We visited the Beachwood BBQ and Brewery - it measured up to all the good reviews we had read. Bottom line - we would definitely rent this home again !

We rented this house for a two week stay during christmas and new years eve. We loved the house and the surroundings. It worked perfectly for us. The house is very well equipped and you could spend a whole vacation here, if you wanted to. We have relatives living nearby so we spent a lot of time with them and sightseeing in the greater Los Angeles area. We were six persons and found the setup with three bedroms with their own bathrooms working very well. Big kitchen with everything you could possibly need. We had our relatives over for dinner one night and since it was a little cold outdoors we had to improvise a bit to find seating for everyone indoors. There is a good dining table with six chairs wich was enough for our family. But no extra chairs. The owners have provided a big binder with lots of useful information. Don't miss that one if you rent the house. Another thing you shouldn't miss is to take a walk up to the top of Signal Hill, just a mile away and see the views when the sky is clear. Wonderful. The immediate surroundings have not so much to offer so you need a car. But the Pacific Coast Highway is just a couple of blocks to the west and taking that to the south quickly takes you to nice beaches like Seal, Huntington, Newport and Laguna. It is also a quick drive further west to the central parts of Long Beach which is nice. To the east the 405 highway is close if you are driving further away. Going north on 405 was easy to find. The path south was a bit trickier. We recommend this place to anyone who need a good place to stay during their visit to Los Angeles as long as they are not looking for a place in the middle of the nightlife.

This is a beautiful home with many amenities that made our stay more enjoyable. The patio with the koi pond was a restful place to hang out with family and friends and we were able to use the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing. We felt like we were truly guests in the home, which had many personal touches and a fully appointed kitchen. The inside is very roomy with plenty of space for socializing, but also places to "get away" with some privacy. The home is beautifully maintained, both inside and out. We were close to the Queen Mary and the marina, and the highway system was easily accessible. We will definitely request this home on our next stay in the Los Angeles area.

This vacation home is both a bargain and a delight! Kitty and Mac are extremely kind and generous and their home is full of terrific details that make this such a great stay. There's a pinball machine, a jacuzzi, a gorgeous patio with barbeque and so much more. We were particularly happy with the accommodations for individuals with disabilities. They have two shower chairs, an extra wheelchair and even a ramp to make it easy to enter both the front and back of the house. Kitty was even kind enough to remove the glass doors on one of the showers to ease the transition to sit in the shower chair. The home has great character from the little matchbox car display to a very creative nightlight in the master bedroom. In all, it feels like a home with all the amenities while you are on your vacation. It's very comfortable and relaxing and is just a short drive from all the great beach activities. They even have a very useful homemade tour book with directions and information on all the great sites local to the home. This is a 5 star stay and simply a great vacation for the price! Thank you again, Kitty and Mac!

We stayed early July. We had a family of 6. The set up was great. Three seperate bedrooms and 3 seperate bathrooms. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard and BBQ. It took us ~30 min to drive to Disneyland. Not bad at all. Beaches just a few miles. Downtown Long Beach was fun for the entire family. The owner is great. Wonderful to work with and they have a book with maps, restaurants, etc at the house which was very helpful. Would certainly recommend.

Everything mentioned in the prior reviews is true--the house was perfect for a long weekend for our 5 person sailing team! The house was immaculate, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to Downtown Long Beach and the marinas (and to Costco!). The patio was an entirely separate living space and new spa was a bonus! We even enjoyed nightly pinball tournaments on the fully operating Evel Knievel pinball machine. Thanks Kitty and Mac!

Two families shared this house and we had plenty of room! The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There were beach chairs, sleeping bags, towels, and more to use. The owners provided plenty of instructions so we didn't have any questions, plus they had a handy notebook with local info in it. The home is centrally located, we were close to the beach, and not far from many other local attractions. We had adults, teenagers, and little kids and everyone had a great stay and we would stay there again!

My family of 9 slept comfortably in the house instead of arranging several hotel rooms for my destination wedding. Price was reasonable and the house was perfect. I got ready for my wedding here and my mom even baked my wedding cake in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the hot tub and barbecue grill, we saved a ton of money grilling rather than going out every night. We are from Colorado and didn't know the area but the owners had a binder full of helpful information for the area so things were easier than expected. Perfect place for family!

This was a great rental. We were attending a college graduation and the location was very convenient. There was plenty of room and 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms made it very easy to get ready at the same time. We had catered some meals so we didn't utilize the outdoor and indoor cooking facilities fully, but there was everything there should we have needed it. As we had a full agenda, we didn't have time to enjoy the spa, but the backyard entertainment area was very nice and relaxing. There was a tremendouos amount of thought devoted to providing amenities to the guests. I would highly recommend this rental.

Very lovely home, convenient to shopping, touring and generally traveling around Long Beach. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Immaculately clean and every amenity possible is included (even a breadmaker). The photos were totally accurate. The back yard was great and we enjoyed eating under the umbrella. Our granddaughter (age 3) loved the koi pond and we enjoyed playing on the pinball machine. The hot tub is very large (the weather was too cool for us to use it). The owner is extremely pleasant to deal with and very responsive to any questions. They send out a complete booklet with all necessary information about the house, and also have a binder of shopping (including grocery store discount cards), restaurant, etc. information in the house. There are 2 parks located very nearby. We highly recommend this house.

This is a wonderful home to rent and very conveniently located. Nearly every amenity is provided for you - soaps in each bathroom, a magnifying mirror in the master bathroom, a working pinball machine and a very detailed booklet in case you have any questions. Very close to Long Beach Airport and only 1/2 hour from Disneyland. The 2 beds in spare rooms are murphy beds, but comfortable all the same. Kitty, the owner is terrific on communications! Thank you so much, we will definitely return if ever back on Long Beach.

We rented this cozy family home in Signal Hill near Long Beach for a joyful and very special small family reunion. The home is well-maintained and had a fantastic back yard where we gathered for afternoon lunches and evening meals in a peaceful, serene environment. There is also a large jacuzzi and impressive built-in barbecue; perfect for hanging out after a long day in town or at the beach. Be advised that two of the beds in the rooms are Murphy beds, however they slept very comfortably. This was a wonderful find; we are so grateful to have hosted such a special event here.

This home was conveniently located in a nice neighborhood along the Pacific Coast Highway, near restaurants, grocery stores, SNA airport, Long Beach, and many other beaches. It was amazingly clean with very comfortable beds. My group especially enjoyed the pinball machine, wifi, and hot tub. We didn't make use of the DVD collection, but it was massive. My group was mostly adults, but this rental would have been comfy for both kids and grandparents! So many good things to say about this house: very helpful and accommodating owners; large, fully stocked kitchen; spacious outdoor patio with many seating options and grilling area; comfortable beds; large washer/dryer; peaceful neighborhood; very close to parks and playgrounds. A few minor drawbacks: the third bedroom is quite small but the living room couch opens into a bed for more sleeping options; very small children cannot be left alone anywhere near the koi pond; the property across the street had loud machinery operating (oil well site) for three of the eight days we stayed at the house. Overall, it’s a beautiful and very well managed home. We loved it.

Our family had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful home for a short weekend (May 15,16 & 17th). I was very impressed at how clean and well organized the home is. I am a bit of a "kitchen freak" and this kitchen was a dream! It had everything one could ask for with the exception of a garlic press. And the back yard was so perfect for a family gathering. My son, his wife and their 2 children drove over from Phoenix to let us see our grandchildren & we drove down from Redding. The back yard was so relaxing and pleasant. My son BBQ'd and we ate outside in the evening air....it was WONDERFUL! I highly recommend this property to families. The owners have thought of every possible need. They also made every effort to accommodate our personal needs. I would love to come back very soon. Thank you Kitty & Bud! The Sluder Family

Particiipating in the National Masters rowing regatta brought eight of us to Long Beach and to this house. It is beautifully maintained and everything you would need is available. The patio area was especially enjoyed whenever we weren't at the rowing venue. Fixing a meal and relaxing in the outdoor space was the best. It is really a backyard dream.
