If you're looking for a quiet escape from the stress of the work-a-day world, this is the place to come. However, just to make sure that you can stay connected if need be, the cabin now has internet access. Unwind on the huge deck at the cabin, or stroll down the level wooded path to the very private beach, where you can relax on the large lakeside deck. The fern gardens along the path are of a size that will make you think you have entered Jurassic Park. The house is just a few hundred feet from the pristine lake. Lake George is very shallow here, ideal for young children. In the evenings, listen to the crickets and frogs under the night sky as you sit out on the deck. You'll feel like you're a million miles away.
The house is decorated in traditional Adirondack style, with a great room, fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms. There are two bedrooms on the first floor: the main bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. The bedroom upstairs has a double and a twin bed. Guests must bring their own linens (sheets, towels, kitchen linens).
Fort Ticonderoga is about 15 miles away. There are plenty of day trip options if you can tear yourself away from the Lake -- for instance to Vermont, the Adirondack Museum, the Wild Museum, Lake Placid or other Adirondack or Vermont attractions.
Note: The property does not have a dock. However, there is a mooring for a boat.
