Perfect for couples weekend getaway

Guest: David J (Chapel Hill, NC)
Date of Stay: 05/11/12 Review Submitted: 05/14/12

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Heavenly Hideaway cabin. The location is rustic, wooded, and beautiful but the cabin itself is luxurious, comfortable, with a warm, homey feel. Beautiful hardwood floors, high wood ceilings, fancy countertops and lots of attention to detail all throughout the house. My favorite part, where I could have spent days on end without leaving, was the back porch. Fantastic hot tub on the deck open to the fresh air with a nice new grill and swinging porch seat. Janet had everything laid out for us when we arrived and had lots of suggestions for exploring the nearby sights and downtown Asheville. We also found the best BBQ ribs I've ever eaten in my life about 10 minutes from the house. We will definitely be back...as soon as possible.

Peaceful weekend

I had such a wonderful time in this cabin - - just me and my two dogs. The farm is serene, and the dogs loved swimming in the pond. The trails are well-kept -- in fact the entire place is so well-maintained. I felt safe and secluded, though Janet was never far away if needed. The grocery store was surprisingly close! I will surely return!

Nice Spot for Relaxing or Seeing Asheville Area

Guest: Sandlapperboy (Charleston, SC USA)
Date of Stay: 04/15/12 Review Submitted: 04/27/12

The cabin is comfortable, well-stocked, quiet, and private. Your dog would be happy there, too. The porch gate has a latch on it. Our only complaint is that the gas logs in the fireplace are a bit wimpy, but they do contribute to the ambiance. The owner, Janet, is very accomodating. The larger house up the hill, Cloud 9, was not rented while we were there, and Janet invited us to hang out there to enjoy the views (Hideaway Heaven has pleasant views of the woods, but not long distance) and to have better internet reception. While we were there, a thunderstorm knocked out the internet browser and some of the lights. That same day, Janet broke the water line under the house. All was fixed by that night. We left some medicine in the cabin, which Janet quickly sent to us at her own expense.

Owner response:And that's why you want an owner that lives on or near the property, like us! We can fix things in a jiffy. Wimpy gas logs? That's funny. I'll be sure to show the next renters the dial that makes them fuller. PS Internet reception now has double surge protection. We are on!

Exceeded expectations!!

Peaceful, quiet, relaxed, unhurried.... all the attributes we rarely allow ourselves at home are what we found at Heavenly Hideaway. Our stay more than exceeded our expectations. i Janet's warm, gracious, and knowledgeable hospitality is evident in all aspects of Cloud 9 Farm. She helped us choose places to eat and things to do in the area. We loved touring the Biltmore Estate...a must!! We also highly recommend going into Asheville to Biltmore Village and treating yourself to dinner at the Corner Kitchen. The bread pudding is divine Of course, if you decide to stay at "home", you can enjoy the fresh eggs and the delicious prize-winning honey from Janet's apiary. We hope to return for another opportunity to recharge and reinvigorate ourselves in the beauty and atmosphere of Heavenly Hideaway. Judy and Don Overland Park, Kansas

Owner response:Wow, you really packed in a 3 night trip of culinary delights...next time try the seafood buffet at the Grove Park Inn. And flying into Asheville (45min) instead of driving all the way from Kansas sure got your relaxation off to a quick start. Greenville-Spartanburg Airport is also an easy drive (1hr.15min)to keep in mind for next time. I know you'd like to see waterfalls at Dupont then!

Awesome! Our third year at Heavenly Hideaway for a week's visit. Never boring, always relaxing. Lots to do, IF you want to be doing anything. The trails on the property are uncrowded and Janet is a gem! The cattle love apples, we love the chicken's eggs and the bee's honey. Peace and quiet coupled with Asheville's activities is the perfect recipe for a special place to unwind and escape. Loved our visit, again!

We had a perfectly wonderful stay at Heavenly Hideway. A solid "A".The description of the cabin, along with the photos was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub, cozy fireplace and a good movie on HBO. The cabin was very clean and up to date and the shower a real treat. We have told many of our friends about this charming cabin in the woods.

Owner response:You shared with us that you had family close by, but chose to select your times to visit them while "camping out" at Heavenly Hideaway. Everyone needs their own space! The shower is a spacious, cultured marble lined section with hand rails and a built in seat. What's not to like? Thanks!

Heavenly Hideaway is a lovely cabin filled with all the amenities you can think of. It is well maintained and very clean. Janet is a great host and very helpful. She has gone above and beyond to make this an enjoyable place to stay while your away from home. Would highly recommend.

Owner response:Thanks for saying the Hideaway is clean...we often do the white sock walk around test just to make sure. The floors pass every time.

This Is Such A Great Place

Date of Stay: 11/23/11 Review Submitted: 02/14/12

We wanted a secluded little cabin for our family of three for a Thanksgiving getaway and came across Heavenly Hideaway on a recommendation. This is such a fabulous cabin. The best way to describe it is warm and cozy. It has all the amenities you need, is spotless and nestled right up to a wooded area. The trailhead leaves your back door and takes you right up to Buzzard's Roost. What a great little hike and an even better view at the top. Our beach grommet son had an opportunity to pull his weight on the farm as Janet had him doing his chores - feeding the hens and roosters, collecting eggs and harvesting some herbs. He loved it. For us, it was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway. Sometimes you have to start new traditions and this was a great experience. We enjoyed it so much that we'll be back next year for Christmas.

Owner response:Your son was a delight. When I suggested he might like rabbit food from the garden (fresh parsley, carrots, lettuce, peas) I didn't expect that he would get down on all 4s and nibble just like a rabbit! I thought you said he didn't like greens? Ahh, the farm life...back to nature at it's best! See you at Christmas.

Perfect Spot for Small Family

Guest: Bob (Cincinnati, OH)
Date of Stay: 11/19/11 Review Submitted: 12/10/11

The weekend before Thanksgiving my wife and I and our 9 month old son had the pleasure of staying at Heavenly Hideaway for four nights. The cabin was the perfect size for our small family, and Janet was great. She brought in a highchair for us, and offered to bring in a crib. The cabin was quiet and remote, while still an easy 15 minute drive in to Asheville. It was also easy driving distance to the Biltmore and other local attractions. If you are looking for a cozy cabin, for a romantic getaway or a fun family weekend, Heavenly Hideaway is a great choice!

Owner response:Heavenly Hideaway is easy to baby proof because there are few knick-knacks to have to move. And it looked like your Pack 'n Play fit right at the foot of the king bed. 750 square feet is just right for a small family. In fact, I'd live in it myself if it had a walk-in closet and craft room!

Great escape!

Guest: Liz (Florida)
Date of Stay: 11/11/11 Review Submitted: 12/14/11

We were looking for a nice escape in the mountains in November and this was the perfect answer. The cabin is perfectly appointed and very cozy and charming and provided a great leaf peeping opportunity. A bonus was the pet friendly feature. My husband and I ( and our pooch) loved the prifvacy the cabin afforded as well as the great hiking trail up the top of the mountain. The proximity to Asheville is a great plus- although you'd never guess that you are that close to downtown since you are truly in a heavenly hideaway. Very accomodating and we will certainly return!

Owner response:You are right, we are close to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. A short 15 minutes to the heart of downtown which includes time to park. You only have to turn 4 times to get there. Easy! On the way back, you can just feel your stress melt away as the trees surround you.

Very relaxing.

Guest: Honeymooners (Louisville, KY)
Date of Stay: 09/30/11 Review Submitted: 10/04/11

We spent part of our honeymoon there and then celebrated our first anniversary there as well. The cabin is beautiful and feels very private and tucked away. It's actually a 10-15 drive to downtown Asheville, though, so it is truly the best of both worlds. The view of the stars from the hot tub is phenomenal. My husband and I are both addicted to technology, so the satellite TV and the internet access were nice as well. We highly recommend Tupelo Honey Cafe. It absolutely lives up to the hype. The South location is good for avoiding a long wait. The Biltmore Estate is fascinating, but be ready for a long day. The Stable Cafe there had some of the best pulled pork BBQ we've ever eaten. Thanks to Heavenly Hideaway for providing the perfect atmosphere for a couple's time alone and for relaxation.

Owner response:Sounds like you're starting a yearly couples tradition at Anniversary time! Yes, the privacy of Heavenly Hideaway cabin can't be beat. When you're in that hot tub, it's just you, the woods, open sky, stars, a few deer...

A Perfect Getaway!

Guest: Anonymous
Date of Stay: 09/06/11 Review Submitted: 09/27/11

Based on the VRBO description we booked three days in early September for a restful break. In fact, the reality of Heavenly Hideaway is even better than the photos show. The cabin is beautifully laid out and furnished, spotlessly clean, private, and comfortable. Janet truly has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much any basic condiments you need, and of course Janet gives each guest a dozen farm-fresh eggs - yum! Icing on the cake: the hot tub. We will definitely return!

Owner response:So you traded triple digits in Texas for our cool, green Asheville. Although it can get hot during the day, it always cools off at night here.Yes, I like to keep things well stocked, just thinking of what I would want to have if on vacation: coffee, tea, sweeteners of many descriptions, (including Heavenly Honey from the farm), and even mustard! Thanks for noticing how clean the cabin is, too. Every surface is gone over between visitors.

Truly great place for your life stages

Guest: queen (columbus ohio)
Date of Stay: 06/27/11 Review Submitted: 07/07/11

We've tracked this for a couple of years in changing life circumstances, first as a possible place to go with young children, then as a place to go as a couple and now looking forward to introducing it to good friends as a place to go (Cloud 9 venue) with special friends in your life or to regroup with a mix of adults and children. We went to Heavenly Hideaway in late June 2011 as a couple and could not have been more pleased. Close to Asheville and other NC attractions, private, perfectly situated to just "staythere" if your life season or the weather suggests staying in. This is the place of someone (owner Janet) who is savvy and focused on how to make precious acerage sustainable. Those seeking luxury accomodation will be very pleased - details abound and all is pristine. Those seeking privacy will have it but can trade it off in a nanosecond for "involvement" on this working farm's activities. City life IS close but the luxury of woods and mountain views are right outside your door. The internet photos do not tell you how well appointed everything is. For those who can't leave behind their e-connections you can plug in. Everything has been "thought about" here. Feed chickens if you wish or text your office or friends if you need in a Wi-Fi set up. We've travelled here and across the pond and this IS a special place. You will not go wrong. Truly special. We hope life brings us a chance to see the settings on Cloud Nine and Heavenly Hideaway through the seasons.

Owner response:Your appreciation makes us feel that this venture is worthwhile! As far as that nano second (are you a Star Trek fan?) of trade-off, let me just tell future renters what working farm "chores" others have had fun helping with: picking beans, digging potatoes, picking berries, checking on the status of the queen in the beehives, extracting honey, moving cows by herding them in the car, down the road, catching errant egg-laying chickens, even helping with the harvest of our meat chickens on the particular day we do that. One renter enthusiastically exclaimed, "I feel like I've done real work today." But don't worry, we also guard your privacy if that's what you came for! Thanks for the great review description, Kathryn.

The best of both worlds

Guest: DA (High Point, NC)
Date of Stay: 06/17/11 Review Submitted: 07/26/11

My wife and I stayed here for a long honeymoon weekend, but it wasn't nearly long enough. This is a beautiful, romantic little cabin secreted away in the woods, but it's also just a quick car ride to downtown Asheville and all of the great dining and sights the city has to offer. We grilled and ate on the deck, explored a regrettably small portion of the farm's trails and points of interest, and soaked our tired muscles under the stars in the hot tub. We listened to the woods come alive at night, and we watched a mother bird feed her chicks in a nest just under the covered deck's eaves. There's a cozy porch swing that lies flat so you can stretch out and get into your ultra-relaxed mode. The beds and furniture are super-comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen nicely appointed--and if you can find a hotel or golf resort that has homemade wheat bread baking and farm-fresh eggs in the fridge for you when you arrive, I'll eat my hat. Our dog says he enjoyed it, too, for the ample walking and sniffing opportunities.

Owner response:Yes, you are right, we are a quick ride to Asheville. we can make it to downtown in 15 min. From Cloud 9, it is just 3 intersections from the driveway to the straight multi-lane highway shot to about anywhere you want to go in Asheville. Yet, you are out in the country, 2tenths of a mile on a dirt road if you want to kick a few rocks.

The Perfect Get-away

Guest: Jean and Mike (Knoxville, TN)
Date of Stay: 03/22/11 Review Submitted: 04/06/11

My husband and I loved our 2 night stay at Heavenly Hideaway. It was all that we could have hoped for. The cabin is spotless - no hint that pets have ever been there. The photos don't begin to capture the in-the-woods feel it has. Reading, eating or hot-tubbing on the porch, you felt nestled in the woods. Both mornings we spotted a pileated woodpecker from the porch (right outside the bedroom window!) We enjoyed the 1 mile hike up to Buzzard's Roost, encountering a flock of turkeys on the way up. We even indulged in having a private massage right in the cabin. What a treat! In the evenings we made full use of the kitchen and BBQ, making gourmet dinners both nights. Followed by our own private film fest on the flat screen TV in the living room. We also made use of the wireless connection and Sirius Radio on the TV. Janet is always available if you have any questions or technical difficulties. And her friendly, hospitable personality makes it a relaxing vacation. But the icing on the cake is the shiny clean hot tub under the stars - so relaxing and private. We will definitely be back!

Owner response:Who says you have to visit the Biltmore Estate when you come to Asheville? You obviously thought of your own "bucket list" of relaxing ideas with Heavenly Hideaway cabin providing the venue.Yes, you are on a conservation wildlife preserve and yes, you are in the woods. Thanks for noting the hot tub is clean. We are meticulous about that!

Another Dream Stay!

Guest: Ken & Pam (Powder Springs, GA, USA)
Date of Stay: 12/27/10 Review Submitted: 02/07/11

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wintry week getaway at Heavenly Hideaway. It was our second stay there, and again we soaked in Janet's warm hospitality, the beauty of the mountains, the cabin setting and more. This cozy, clean cabin is an ideal place to stay, it's close to Asheville, yet away and incredibly private. For those with mobility issues, after a very small step into the front door, this cabin is all on one level, including the hot tub. We'll be back!

Owner response:Searching this 200 acre "mini-estate" for a place to position this Heavenly Hideaway cabin that had the easiest access, was the challenge when we built this couple's get-away 3 years ago. Thanks for noting that it just has one step in because, here in the mountains it is hard to find a rental that doesn't have a steep staircase to the front door. We really had to work with the builder to get the grading just right so you can drive right to the front door. It's always fun to see visitors for a second time or more. We anticipate your smiling faces as if you were long lost relatives...the good ones!

Great getaway

Guest: Sandie (Columbia, SC)
Date of Stay: 12/17/10 Review Submitted: 01/10/11

My husband and I stayed at Heavenly Hideaway just before Christmas to have a little time to ourselves before the holidays. It exceeded our expectations! The directions were perfect, and although there was ice on the roads the drive was not the least bit of trouble. Upon arrival the place was romantically lit and Janet arrived just in time to explain how to use all of the "gadjets", which included a wonderful flat screen tv, a remote controlled fireplace, and a clean, hot spa on the back deck. Plenty of info of places to eat, even ones that delivered, and as a bonus there were fresh eggs in the fridge and coffee, pancake mix, etc. Nice to know we didn't have to load up on perishible groceries. We went to the Biltmore Candelight Tour, which was fantastic! The next day was spent enjoying the hot tub gazing out into the snow covered trees which surrounded the cabin. There were even a variety of fluffy robes hanging in the closet. Probably one of the best moments of the weekend for me was rocking on the swing on the back deck, sipping fresh coffee, and listening to the silence. I also appreciated that the cabin is one-story, which is important for me because I have bad knees. We were able to return home refreshed and ready for the craziness of the holidays at home. Thank you Janet, and I hope to return in the summer to pick some blueberries, go swimming, and possibly attempt the hike to the top of the mountain.

Owner response:Silence...that's one feature that is hard to describe to VRBO readers. So many beautiful rentals around the Asheville area have traffic noise that filters up the mountains from valley highways, but not at Heavenly Hideaway cabin. It's just YOU, the WOODS, and the QUIET. Thanks for noting that.

Beautiful, Cozy, Clean, Pet Friendly Cabin!

Guest: love to travel (charlotte, nc)
Date of Stay: 10/19/10 Review Submitted: 10/25/10

My husband and I travel a lot with our dog. We have stayed in many pet friendly rentals, and this property is one of the best. The cabin has all the amenities you will need for your getaway. Most importantly, it is clean!! Asheville is close and easy to get to for a visit. The cabin is private and the proprietor is friendly and easy to get in touch with if needed The restaurants in Asheville are reasonably priced with good menus. The Biltmore is beautiful. We definitely recommend visiting Asheville, and staying in the Heavenly Hideaway Cabin.

Owner response:Clean? We wouldn't have it any other way. Six different kinds of wood are represented in the inside construction so that might be the clean wood smell that you notice. Thanks for giving it the "sniff test."

Date of Stay: 10/04/10 Review Submitted: 10/27/10

My wife and I stayed here for a few days at the beginning of our honeymoon. Very, very nice cabin. Amenities were great. All of our needs were met. Wandering around the huge piece of property was really fun and relaxing. The drive to Asheville or a grocery store was a piece of cake, but the cabin still felt away from everything (in a good way). After getting married, we really needed a few days to do not-much-of-anything. This place definitely made that possible! Janet was very hospitable and kind. We hope to come back and gather some eggs!

Owner response:The privacy that we've defended in the placement and floor plan of this cabin are perfect for honeymooners or anyone needing to regroup...taking time away from time! Yes, hard to believe when you're in the middle of 200 acres that the grocery store is just 3 miles away...plus Pizza and More delivers!

An outstanding vacation rental

Guest: Connie (Merritt Island, Florida)
Date of Stay: 08/28/10 Review Submitted: 09/07/10

The cabin and the farm really are the perfect getaway. Although the cabin allows pets, it smells brand new and has everything you need. The hot tub is also sparkling clean and has a private woods view. You may be able to find a cabin that is as nice as the Heavenly Hideaway, but the best feature of this vacation rental is the farm and the farmer! You feel so welcome here, as if you’re visiting a relative or old friend, and you have 200 acres to explore. The farm has a little bit of everything –during my stay, I received a dozen eggs as soon as I arrived (one still warm from being laid), picked my own raspberries, watched as a young visitor fed the cows, and sat by the pond for a relaxing dinner and just to read. Janet is great about discussing and explaining the sustainable methods she uses in producing honey, raising Angus beef, and growing blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, in addition to a large vegetable garden. I could have participated in more, and plan to next time, but it was enough to sit back and soak in the quiet. The farm also has woodland trails - the hike to Buzzard’s Roost is the longest (about 1 to 2 hours, depending on how long you stay to take in the view); it is just long and strenuous enough to be invigorating. If you like to travel with your dog(s), the whole property is very dog-friendly, as is the Asheville area in general, even the Biltmore estate! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to the area and can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

Owner response:It was fun to have you, Connie, office gal (and cute doggie) because you squealed with delight in finding every raspberry hidden under a raspberry leaf. We picked our breakfast together that morning. Gee, you want to do chores? Well, I promise to make them fun, because it's appreciative people like you that this farm/vacation rental was made for!

As soon as I drove onto the property, I knew we were in for a treat. Cloud 9 farm is stunning in every way. The farm is beautifully maintained; the forest pristine. Heavenly Hideaway Cabin is a perfect get a way. We stayed for 9 nights and never grew tired of it. In fact, it was very hard to leave! I had grown very attached to the forest, the hot tub, the bed (it's wonderful!), the cows, and hanging out on the deck reading books. The cabin is very well appointed, very clean, and super comfortable. Janet was the perfect host, treating us like visiting friends rather than just customers. I recommend this place without any hesitation. In fact, I'm already wondering when I can get there again. It was close enough to Asheville, to go in for dinner or whatever, and at the same time we felt like we were staying in the middle of the beauty of The Blue Ridge Mountains.

Owner response:We spent a lot of time deciding where best to build this cabin on our 200 acres. We choose to point it into the woods for privacywith the nearest house over a football field away yet be close enough to our well-kept mountain driveway.. You don't need any special vehicle to get here. Thanks for noticing how clean it is. We take great pride in that. In fact, the wood smell of the cabin is what you notice when you walk in.

We arrived in a snow storm, but you really went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and had all the necessities. Our 15 year anniversary will be so memorable. Thank you for your kind hospitality!

Jan16-Jan18. Had the most relaxing and peaceful birthday weekend ever. From the moment we walked in, we felt as if we were visiting the home of a friend instead of a rental. The attention to detail is amazing, the house has everthing you could possibly need or want. The hot tub on the deck is just an added bonus. They even offer car repair service. Janet, thank you for a weekend of exactly what I wanted, and needed. Thank your "fella" because he fixed the car, we haven't had another problem since! Can't wait to come back!

What a beautiful cabin, in an inviting forest setting! Heavenly Hideaway is very peaceful, quiet, cozy and clean. The cabin is even nicer than it appears online. Janet, you’re such a thoughtful owner; the personal touches you provided helped make our stay so special. It was our first visit, but not our last! Thank you for a wonderful get-away!

August visit. We absolutely adore you, your farm, this cabin and the general positive vibe here at Cloud 9. Our little family had many adventures during our stay: catching a fish in the pond, Maya's (16 months)first time swimming in a pond, feeding the chickens, picking fresh eggs, Lucy (the dog)exploring, Buzzard's roost, picking fresh blueberries, etc. We were totally comfortable, relaxed and felt like we were at our home away from home. A true treasure!

Late October visit This place will always be special to us since it will be remembered as our fist "family" vacation with Wilson, our delayed honeymoon and celebrating Jon's return from Iraq. We enjoyed the trails, the peacefulness and Wilson loved the cows, however, I am not sure it was reciprocal! LOL

Mid October Visit We have really enjoyed our stay here and your delightful little farm. This has been so much nicer than a hotel. We will definitely tell our friends about this place. The cabin is perfect and you have left nothing to chance. A couple of times I thought of things I wished were here, only to find them later! Thanks!

October Visit Your Heavely Hideaway was our Heavenly Hideaway for a couple great days. Your thoughtfulness and consideration of the needs of your guests made this our most enjoyable getaway. We both appreciate your stewardship of this land and property.

Early October visit This truly was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation thanks to Janet for having such a nice place and to Alan and Chin (Sept.09) for telling us about it. Usually by this time of year in Florida we like to open the refrigerator and climb in. The weather here was picture perfect the entire week- cool and refreshing. Misty (the dog) enjoyed the seeing the cows the best. We enjoyed the smell of fresh air in the woods and the morning sun peeking over the montain and the full moon with long walks together. We look forward to our next trip here.

Late September visit After visiting the area for many years, we have at long last found "our" mountain retreat. Living in your beautifully constructed and perfectly accoutered cabin for the week was truly a wonderful experience for us. We hope to return many times. Until the next visit"...may God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Late Auguist visit Thank you for an incredible and relaxing stay. We do not know who had a better time...us or Little Bit and Chicqui. The girls loved your pond, your trails, and the grassy fields to play ball every day! Also, we want to take home that funky handmade table on the deck. Can you make us one? NOTE FROM JANET: Every craft that I have in the Hideaway is locally made and YES, let me put you in touch with the crafter that made the rhododendron legged white oak "crotch tree" table.

Late August Visit Heaveny hideaway is just that, "Heavenly." We live in the country, but not near this much peace and solitude. You have done an absolutey amazing job. the internet does this home "no" justice. Thank you so much for the fresh veggies and for taking me to see the honey bees. That was very interesting. Take care and thank you!

As usual (our third time here), Heavenly Hideaway was exactly what we needed! Two quiet days of just us to unwind and recharge. The weather was great-just cool enough to make a difference from the 90's back down the mountain- with just enough rain. As we got ready for an "appetizer soak" in the hot tub at dusk we heard a lone coyote just down the hill calling his family. The cicadas wound down and the katydids got warmed up. Wonderful! We even saqw a shooting star from the Leonid meteor shower!

November visit Matt and I came up as a surprise for his birthday...just him, me and the puppy, Gemimi. Little did I know the surprise was on me as he PROPOSED at Buzzard's Roost. That hike was the first thing we did when we got here and it is the most amazing view. We planned a picnic because it was so wonderful up there. We love the the farm with the cows and chickens and wild turkeys. Gemini loved the pond!

November visit This is our 2nd year at Heavenly Hideaway and we loved every minute of it. The farm, the privacy, the beauty and peacefulness of this place had us return this year for more days. You are a great person to share your farm and make us feel "at home." Rocky remembered "his cows" while hanging out the car window on the way up the driveway.

The Heavenly Hideaway was so much nicer than a hotel room. Janet, you really have thought of everything. It is such a cute cabin. The website really doesn't do it justice. The privacy, the woods, the tranquility...all made it so enjoyable. When we come again (and we WILL come again), I hope we will have longer to stay and visit with you and explore the farm a little. You are a gracious hostess and your place is just delightful. Thanks again for helping us celebrate our 30th anniversary. It was great.

The cabin is so relaxing and a wonderful place for my husband andme to retreat for my birthday weekend. The cabin had everything we needed, including the hot tub under the stars. We look froward to returning again soon and will highly recommend your place to others! NOTE FROM JANET: (early June visit) My slogan rung true for you, "A world away in 15 minutes." Well, actually, Flat Rock is 35 minutes from here. Glad you enjoyed some together time. Did I notice a baby bump?

We really enjoyed our stay for our honeymoon. So, so relaxing after all of the wedding prep. We will be back! NOTE FROM JANET; (Mid July visit) Tim, Trease seemed well pleased with your selection of honeymoon spots! I think picking blueberries was probably the last thing on your minds.
