New to the rental market, located on the Western Green with spectacular Gulf of Mexico Views. Great White on the Green is one of a few vacation homes available on any rental program that is situated on one of Rosemary Beach's sought after Greens.
Entry/Outside Features: You may enter this home, through the courtyard from the Green, via the front door on Water St, or through the courtyard from the 2-car garage. The lushly landscaped courtyard complete with soothing urn fountain is outfitted with a large round table and chairs for outdoor dining. A handy stable room is adjacent to the garage for parking bicycles, and includes an outdoor shower.
Ground Floor: The ground floor includes a large guest master suite with full bath, King size bed, desk, flat screen TV, and French doors that open to the peaceful courtyard. This suite also boosts a mini kitchen with microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. Granite counter tops are in the mini kitchen and bathroom. Across the foyer from the guest master suite is the laundry closet and two additional bedrooms. The bunkroom has two sets of bunk beds with adjacent full bath equipped with granite counter tops. Adjacent to the bunkroom is a queen bedroom with adjoining full bath and granite counter top.
Second Floor: The stairwell opens into the large open living area that takes full advantage of the sweeping Western Green and Gulf Views. Open to the kitchen and dining area, this space has hardwood floors, flat screen TV, sound system with speakers in all second floor rooms, and plenty of views. French doors open onto a covered porch outfitted with tall cocktail chairs overlooking the Gulf - perfect for watching sunsets and families playing on the green. An additional balcony off the living area, overlooks East Water Street and is perfect for parade watching on The 4th of July. The kitchen has granite countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless appliances and seperate ice maker. A granite bar between the kitchen and living area houses the sink and bar stools.
The elegant spacious master bedroom includes a king bed, full size couch, LCD TV and luxurious private bath that features Travertine tile, his/hers vanities with Kohler fixtures, a Jacuzzi tub, and a walk-in shower. The master bedroom walk in closet is oversized with his and hers storage for hanging and folded clothes as well as, storage for suitcases, golf clubs, tennis racquets etc. A bench and mirrors complete the master closet. The Master bedroom has a separate private balcony on the East side, and French doors opening to the balcony overlooking the courtyard on the West side. The upper interior balcony wraps around the courtyard and includes a gas grill and outdoor table and chairs. Another French door connects this balcony to the kitchen for easy access while grilling outdoors.
Between the Master bedroom and the kitchen is a Media room including a day bed, desk, sitting area, and LCD TV. This room also has two balconies accessed via French doors. The interior balcony overlooks the courtyard and the outer balcony overlooks East Water Street. Adjacent to the media room is a half bath.
You will also be able to enjoy all the amenities of Rosemary Beach including 4 pools, eight clay tennis courts, fitness center, spa, playgrounds and 4 private beach walkovers. Great White on the Green is steps from the great shopping and charming restaurants of Rosemary.

Perfect for Spring Break 2011

We stayed at Fishstix over our spring break this March, 2011. It is a great house - will easily sleep 8 in beds and 10 using the daybed. The living room is beautiful and peaceful. All sleeping space is upstairs, with plenty of bathroom space for a large group. Possibly the best aspect of the house is the loggia and courtyard downstairs matched with a balcony outfitted with table and multiple chairs for lounging away from the sun. The picture above must have been taken many years ago, because the trees and shrubbery have grown considerably and keep the house feeling very secluded and well shaded from heat and sun. While it is not far from Hwy 30At, there was limited street noise when indoors. Given it's location in Rosemary Beach, it is 5-7 min to Publix and CVS near Panama City. It's a 5 min walk to the beach and about the same into the heart of town for great food and coffee. MUCH less hectic and overrun by teenagers and college-age spring breakers than Seaside/Watercolor or worse yet, Destin - perfect for families with small children. I'd be a little nervous about the steep stairway to the upstairs for really young children, but in general, it's perfect. Not over decorated, but tastefully done in neutrals. Kitchen is well-equipped and modern. This was our first tip to Rosemary Beach, and I'm certain we will return.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
