This private , classic house sitting on 11 acres is located in the peaceful mountains of Southern West Virginia , just 2 minutes from Winterplace Ski Resort .We are year round so bring your trailer loads of ATV’s. Just 2 minutes down the road is the CC Trail ,Lots of other trails avaliable; Burning Rock Off road Park, and lets not forget the famous Hatfield & McCoy Trail. Equipped with 4 bedrooms , on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed . On the second floor there are 2 more bedrooms ; one has a queen bed , the other with 2 twin size beds, plus(1) roll away bed . Each room has it’s own Cable/TV ; so you don’t have to argue over TV shows . The spacious living room has a TV with Cable DVD. A fully furnished Kitchen has stove , refrigerator and microwave for meals at home before & after your daily adventures. The dining room sits 8 . Each floor has it’s own full bathroom. There is a standard washer & dryer . For all you internet Junkies We have WIFI.

House was clean and owner was very nice to work with. Winterplace was literally 2 minutes away, so location was perfect! House was well stocked with everything you could need!! We had 6 adults, 1 infant, and 3 dogs and we all had plenty of space. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we head up to Winterplace. Thank you!

We stayed here new years week 2009 and are going back this year if possible; it was beautiful, convenient and well maintained with excellent management nearby.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this house on Valentine's weekend. It was great. It was just as described. It was only one mile from Winterplace. Our kids had just as much fun at the house as they did tubing at Winterplace. There was a restaurant called Paco's about 1.5 miles town the road. The food there was very good. It was one of the best mexican restaurants around. I would definitely rent this house again and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a flawless weekend.
