We loved our stay at this beach home! The main floor was so spacious and I would love to have taken the kitchen home with me! We ate out a lot and we also cooked a few meals and found that everything we needed was supplied in the well stocked kitchen. The wifi worked very quickly & all of the tv/media items were ready to use. The washer/dryer was easy to use and very helpful to keep towels/wet swimsuits clean. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. The owners made the process of securing the week very easy & quick. We have no negative remarks about the place other than wishing we could have stayed two weeks rather than just the one. We hope to come again next summer. We highly recommend staying at Serenity by the Sea.

We stayed at Serenity and the house was very nice. The location was easy to get to and there are plenty of nearby grocery stores and casual restaurants. The house accomodations and layout were perfect for our family. We had 4 families and everyone had their own space, with the 5 kids loving the loft. Hwy 98 is heavily traveled and most of the attractions of Destin are at least 40 minutes by car. We took the whole family to the Trac for go-karts and the Seablaster cruise, which was great! The 6 bikes were not provided - only 4 were at the house and only 2 worked properly. The linens provided were not ample for our stay and we had to call for more, which took a day. Cypress Dunes looks like it would be a nice development if fully finished, but it has obviously fallen victim to the turn of the economy. There is no beach access from the pool/property - you have to drive about 5 minutes down the road to public beach. If beach access was paved it would be ideal.

We have stayed at this home twice and we are currently planning our 2011 vacation to SRB. I hope to get enough family together so that we can rent this home again (or we might just rent it for our small family of 4). I can't say enough good things about this home and Cypress Dunes--both are absolutely beautiful!!

Serenity by the Sea was a fabulous home to vacation in. The Cypress Dunes neighborhood is breathtakingly beautiful and Serenity has plenty of bikes for you to explore it on! There were at least 7 bikes...including a few children's bikes that our kids had a blast riding! There is also a big open green space directly in front of the house where we enjoyed playing baseball and frisbee. The beach shuttle was not running in Cypress Dunes during our stay, but you can access the nearest public beach in just 3 minutes by car or you can ride one of the many bikes provided and be there in about 10 minutes. The pool and fitness area are very, very nice! We had 5 children sleeping in the upstairs loft/kids' bedroom area--they had a great time up there and felt so cool to have their own "place." The decor looked like it was straight out of a Pottery Barn catalog--so beautiful and well-cared for. We will definitely be vacationing at Serenity by the Sea again!
