Located 1 1/2 blocks from the 6th Street beach access and an easy walk to the downtown Cayucos business district, our three bedroom, two bath beach home sleeps eight to ten people comfortably. Enjoy antique or souvenir shopping, wine tasting or fishing from the Cayucos pier. Take the kids to the local candy and ice cream shop, or the entire family to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the many cafes and restaurants in town. Within a short drive of Cayucos is the quaint village of Cambria, explore Hearst Castle, enjoy hiking or horseback riding at Montaña de Oro State Park, tour the many world class wineries of the Central Coast wine region or play golf at a number of challenging and beautiful regional golf courses. During the annual 4th of July parade, take advantage of our backyard gate access to the parade route, allow you a front row seat while still having all home ammenities within 50 yards of where you sit.
Updates to the home make for an enjoyable and trouble free stay. These upgrades include wired/wireless high speed internet access (VPN enabled), modern kitchen appliances, modern kitchen and bath fixtures, new beds, tile flooring, wall-to-wall carpeting, window coverings, fresh paint (inside and out), high energy efficiency furnace, and recessed lighting in the large upstairs great room and sun room.
The upstairs kitchen and living area provides wonderful ocean and sunset views. The dining table expands to seat eight & the upstairs sun room has window seating for two; a great place to enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning as you overlook the coast. With a 36 inch TV with DirecTV - TiVo DVR, VRC/DVD Combo Player, comfortable seating and a wood burning stove, you're certain to find that relaxing place to watch TV, play a game or read a book.
The expansive back yard has an enclosed sun room off the master bedroom, with a deck and large patio with gas grill for entertaining family and friends. Take advantage of the outdoor shower upon your return from surfing or a day at the beach. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the private hot tub under the stars to round out your day.
Retiring for the evening, the master bedroom (King), which opens into the enclosed sun room and onto the backyard deck, is great for Mom and Dad. For the kids, the lower level bedroom has two bunk units, each consisting of a twin bunk over a double bed. There's a 25 inch TV with DirecTV - TiVo DVR, VRC/DVD Combo Player, making this a great hangout for the kids. Upstairs is the third bedroom (Queen), just off the upstairs bathroom.
All in all, we're certain our beach home will provide a warm, comfortable and home-like vacation retreat that you can enjoy for years to come.

In our attempt to provide a comfortable and inviting home away from home, a place where we'd feel comfortable living ourselves, we've completely remodeled the interior and exterior of our home. You will find modern appliances, upgraded heating, flooring, lighting, remodeled baths with all new fixtures and window coverings throughout the home. Fresh paint both inside and outside with a new roof on the home make this a warm and welcome retreat anytime of the year. We provide bed and bath linens with each rental. New in 2009 is wired/wireless high speed broadband service (VPN enabled) at the home.
The home is two or three minute walk to the beach and just a few minutes from downtown Cayucos. The Central Coast wine region is twenty minutes away with Hearst Castle just a short 1/2 hour drive north of us. We invite you to contact us for your next vaction.
