This lovely two bedroom two bath villa sits right on the best part of Seven Mile Beach, next to the Ritz Carlton. This air conditioned, non-smoking unit also boasts a private balcony with an unobstructed view of the Caribbean from our new bar height table and chairs(no need to peek thru the railing) and a state of the art kitchen, with Corian counter tops, allowing you to prepare that special romantic meal, while totally relaxing and enjoying your incredible view. Other amenities include New 46In flat screen in Living Room and 40 in Flat screen mounted in the Master bedroom. Washer and dryer, cable television in living room/bedrooms, stereo, Blu Ray player, I-pod dock and telephones with answering machines in each room.

Our experience in Grand Cayman on Seven Mile Beach will be memorable for many reasons -- the sheer beauty of the sand and water, the laid back feeling of the island, the great restaurants, the lack of crowds and the beautiful breezy weather. One memory really stands out and is the Villas of the Galleon condo we stayed in. What a fantastic place! So spacious and comfortable for the four of us, great little touches like books and tips and clean, clean, clean! We immediately felt at home and then some -- a great view of the beautiful beach and the waving palm trees. The description is right on. Outside the condo we enjoyed the beautiful vegetation and the great welcome and helpful information from the property manager. And what a great location for stores, shops, food. We didn't need to rent a car and hopped on buses to get around providing great local flavor. A highlight of our trip was to the stingray sandbar and snorkeling in the incredibly clear, warm water. The grounds of the Villa area were well kept and brought out some interesting characters -- iguanas that my kids enjoyed. We would recommend the restaurant Luca, which we walked to and absolutely loved! Beautiful spot on the beach, great service, delicious food. The time of year we went, we walked right in to each restaurant without reservations. No crowds, just great! Our family would recommend Villas of the Galleon to family and friends and we will return someday!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This was our 3rd trip to the Caymans, but our first stay on 7 mile beach, but hopefully not our last. The owner was so helpful and the condo was awesome. Since all the stores were closed when we got there on Sunday, he even arranged for Lisa to have some beer in the condo. Lisa was also very helpful and even let us stay past checkout time since our flight didn't leave until late in the evening. Very clean and nice and very well equipped for all of our needs. Great location, close to several restaurants and within walking distance to several shopping centers. The pictures don't do the condo or the beach justice. We ate dinner on the balcony most nites just to watch the beautiful sunsets. Hope to go back again next year!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our first experience in the Caribbean was awesome!!! The condo was exactly as described and all of the tips that you send absolutely make the trip much easier for first timers. We loved the color and clarity of the water, even right in front of the condo. We did a private combined fishing/snorkeling trip with Clinton Ebanks which we loved. It felt like a real Cayman experience rather than a commercial trip. We caught fish then went snorkeling with the stingrays and then took fresh fish back to the condo and cooked them that evening. We enjoy walking in the morning and walked to Georgetown most days and would stop and have lunch on our way back. We did not have a bad meal anywhere. We tried to always find restaruants that served fresh fish and really enjoyed Da Fish Shack and the Sunset Grill. We also had a very nice meal up at Morgan's Harbor one evening.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We had an incredible trip to Grand Cayman and your place was amazing. It was a perfect size for the family, very comfortable and what a great view of the beach. You could certainly see how crowded the beach was at the Ritz and the Westin. Weather was great and we were able to see the whole island. From the dining out perspective, we truly loved Calypso Grill, Eduardo's and the > Wharf. We also tried the Brazilian Steakhouse (Prime) and it was great, as well. Enjoyed lunch over at Rum Pointe a day and at Alfresco' s. To be honest.....we didn't have a bad meal while we were down there! For activities, we chartered a dive boat for the day and went with Cayman Turtle Divers. They were absolutely fantastic. JT and Alan taught my boys how to dive and we saw many wonderful things. The girls went horseback riding with Niki.....they couldn't say enough about what a terrific experience it was and how well the horses were maintained....very professional. They got to ride horses on the beach and up to their waist in the water.....truly an unforgettable experience. We rented jet skis for a half/day... picked them up in Georgetown and rode them up and down 7-mile beach. Much more cost efficient than renting over at the Westin.....still expensive though!! Spent plenty of time at Foster's Food fair getting items for breakfast and lunch. Very efficient to bring a cooler to the beach with snacks and drinks for the kids. We even cooked in 2 nights......too tired to > make it out. Rented a car for 4 days through Rubio at Hertz. He brought the car to us and picked it up. Got a 10% discount through Lisa. She couldnt have been nicer or more accomodating. Overall, just a wonderful trip and a fantastic place to stay. Thanks again for opening your place to our family and all the helpful recommendations. We got to meet many new friends at the Villas of the Galleon and we look forward to returning in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My husband and I recently stayed at the villa with friends for a long weekend. The villa was everything we expected and more. It has the perfect location between the Ritz and Westin and an even better beach, because chairs are easy to come by and it is way less crowded. Everything was within walking distance. Ralph was a pleasure to work with, the cleaning service was wonderful, and the villa had all the amenities we wanted. ... to say that we had an incredible time at your Villa would be an understatement! Our stay at Villas of the Galleon was truly a memory of a lifetime. We had a wonderful visit to Cayman. Your villa is perfect: accommodating, clean, well equipped with all the necessary items (found the night eye maskes the day we left while cleaning up); excellent view and most beautiful location in Cayman; brought our coffee and used the Keurig everyday, several times a day :); we used your floats and relaxed in the waters (one of my favorite things); snorkeling was great; drinks on the balcony in the morning and at sunset for such an incredible view; sunsets each evening on the beach were breathless...ahhh, how I miss Cayman :( Although we weren't at the office much, working with Lisa was wonderful...she is such a sweetheart! Everyone in Cayman and at the Villas was very friendly and welcoming. During our Cayman visit, we were able to fit in several activities, including: Stingray City with Divers Down, Dolphin Cove swimming with the dolphins, parasailing, snorkeling, the water bike and kayaks, helicopter ride around the island and, the banana boat ride the last day! The boys had an amazing time! We enjoyed seeing all of the iguanas on the island. :) We dined out at a few places during our stay: Sunset House, Alfrescos (my very favorite; the potato crusted Tilapia...mmmmmm :)), Lone Star, Calyspo Grill for their sticky toffee pudding and chocolate bread pudding and ordered Gino's pizza! ...all were great. We stocked our kitchen from our favorite grocery store - Fosters! They had everything we needed (from food to sunblock!). To make our vacation even more enjoyable, staying at your villa allowed us to meet some incredible and loving families whom I plan to remain friends with forever. Thank you, thank you for sharing your villa and allowing us to experience the vacation of a lifetime! . . . a week in paradise! Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The owner makes very sure that you have everything you need, from a well equipped kitchen to a spare set of snorkel gear. The beach is perfect, the groceries and many restaurants are walking distance. We wanted to try diving so we took Ralph's reccomendation and called Divers Down. They were great. We ended up taking three trips with them. We would definitely stay in this condo again, can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Ralph's condo was located on the best part of the best beach in the Cayman's. Felt like we were the only ones on the beach after sunset. Have fun and rent a vehicle to explore the rest of the Island. Once you get out of Georgentown the roads to Rum point and the East End are virtually deserted. Lots of great restaurants close to the condo, with the Monday night BBQ at Macabuca's being one of our favorites along with a beach dinner at Casanova's. All amenities in the Condo you will need for a great vacation. We completely enjoyed our stay at Ralph's Condo! The condo itself is a lovely property exactly as described. Clean and with all amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The location on Seven Mile Beach is, in our opinion, truly the best location. Grocery stores are close by, loads of restaurants within walking distance or a short bus ride away. The beach is beautiful with a plentiful supply of beach chairs with both sun and shade to enjoy it from. We enjoy snorkeling and the snorkeling directly in fron of the Villas was beyond compare. At first timid we stayed close to shore, but you truly must adventure out further to the reef. The variety and quanitity of fish you will see is truly astounding. Everything from stingrays, to moray eels, to trunk fish, squirrel fish, lion fish. I could go on and on. Be sure to bring your snorkel gear! A visit to stingray City is a must. We will definitely be returning to the Caymans and our choice of accomodation will be the Villas.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
