Surf City is a thriving beach community located at the heart of historic Topsail Island. The beaches are gorgeous and always a wonderful way to spend the day. "NANA'S DREAM" BEACH HOUSE is located just a short walk to the beach access. Topsail Beach and North Topsail Beach are located on the island within easy access. For those with a flare for the bigger city, both Jacksonville and Wilmington are within a half hours drive.
The master bedroom and the living room have color cable TVs with DVD players. There is also a TV in one of the other bedrooms. There are jigsaw puzzles to work and books to read.

Hello, I am "Nana". I live in Graham, NC which is about 3 hours from the beach. I have one daughter, who helps take care of the rental side and a wonderful son-in-law, who helps take care of the maintenance side. I have a granddaughter, grandson-in-law and a grandson. I am a semi-retired bookkeeper and work for my son-in-law and daughter at his CPA firm.
Why the Owner Chose Surf City
I feel in love with Surf City more than 30 years ago, when there wasn't very much on the island. I always dreamed of owning a house here.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Along with my family and friends, I love to spend lazy days on the beach or reading a good book on one of the porchs. I hope that you will love to spend some lazy days enjoying my second home as much as I do.

Memorable Weekend!

What a wonderful find! My friends and I rented Nana's Dream for a wedding that we were coming into town for. We had considered hotels on the island and in Willmington, but the idea of looking for a cute beach house with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and room to stretch out and enjoy the weekend sounded much more pleasing. The location was perfect, we could literally walk across the street to the beach and enjoy some of the local bars and attractions within walking or bike riding distance. The beautiful weather that weekend lent itself to a fun bbq for the bride and groom's family to come enjoy on our deck, too. It was the perfect space for us to use getting ready for the wedding, and an even better space for teh 20 or so people we entertained the next day after the wedding. All of us were raving the whole weekend about how glad we were that we had been able to make a wedding weekend into a memorable retreat and reunion for six college friends that have been spread to the four corners of the earth. The family who owns the home was also very easy to work with, and they made the business end enjoyable as well, so there was nothing to spoil our fun. If we ever head back to topsail for any other fun weekends, you can bet this will be our first choice of accomidations. Just beautiful!
