View of beach from balcony (unrestricted view) - Bolongo Bay Beach Resort Condo Rental Beautiful 2 bed / 2 bath oceanfront condo on the south side of St. Thomas (top floor / end unit). The condo is conveniently located on the south east side of the island in Bolongo Bay. Enjoy the breathtaking views from almost every room in the condo - views of the ocean from master bedroom, kitchen, living and dining from the 2 sets of sliding glass doors. There also is an oversized balcony that runs the length of the building - great for meals or just relaxing. There is a full kitchen although you may never need it because you can walk to three fabulous restaurants (Iggie's Patio Beach Restaurant / Bar, Mim's (finer dining) and the Lobster Grille at Bolongo Bay Resort). Not to mention a pool that sits just over the beach. Bolongo Bay is conveniently located 6 miles from the airport. The travel time downtown is about 2 miles and it is about 2.5 miles to Redhook (ferry ride to St. John or the British Virgin Islands). There also is a grocery store within 1.5 miles. Most guests suggest a rental car however some prefer the use of a taxi. I personally am impatient so I always rent a car. The car rental agencies are located in the airport and the ones I have used are Avis and Budget. Make sure you book your rental car when you book your tickets because they do run out of cars. There are a variety of activities in Bolongo bay including a dive shop, reef in the bay for snorkeling, catamaran for sailing, variety of free and rental water toys. You never have to leave Bolongo Bay for the perfect vacation. If this doesn't meet your criteria then you are minutes from duty free shopping in Charlotte Amalie or a ferry ride from Red Hook to St. John or the British Virgin Islands. ABOUT ME: I live in Atlanta, Georgia and treat this condo like my second home. I visit the islands quite often and I am always making improvements to the unit. I didn't spare any expense when furnishing the unit and I am always willing to accommodate. The sleeper sofa is less than a year old, both bathroom vanities and counters replaced, fresh paint, linens, towels and new artwork. I take a lot of pride in taking care of condo and I think comments in my guestbook speak for themselves. Please feel free to call or email me at anytime with any questions.
