Thanks to Andrew for taking great care of us and for having such an awesome place on St Thomas! We LOVED it all! Amazing views from the patio - amazing sound of the surf to go to sleep to and amazing dining opps just a walk down to the beach. Iggies is great fun and the food at the Lobster Grille at The Bolongo Bay Resort was excellent! Didn't make it to Mim's this time. Thanks for all the great amenities like cable TV and all the games and wi-fi too! oh and so important the beds were GREAT! We will be back!

My family stayed in Andrew's amazing condo over Christmas. The location, amenities and resort facilities made our family vacation a memorable one. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the beautiful waterfront view. The condo was roomy and very clean just as described. The convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit allowed us to take fewer clothes which we really didn't need as we spent most of our time in bathing suits. We had convenient parking and the pool was wonderful. We will definitely go back and stay at the condo again. Thanks to Andrew for such a wonderful vacation.

What an amazing experience. From the beginning Andrew was very quick to answer any questions. Upon arrival we were more than pleased with the location, cleanliness and extra amenities you won't find elsewhere. The view is stunning and being at the end of the building, you can enjoy the music from Iggies at the perfect volume. We had three adults and two children in the condo and there was plenty of room. Not one person in my group had any complaints. We chose to rent a car and it worked out perfectly. After exploring the island each day, we were greeted with the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced in a rental. Iggies is a ton of fun and the staff is very friendly. It is certainly nice to stroll from the condo...grab a bite and stroll back. Andrew has a real gem in Bolongo Bay and you can tell he takes pride in maintaining the unit. My only fear is that if I tell too many people, someone will book the week I am hoping for next year! I have been to Maui, Kauai and the Bahamas...St. Thomas was the best week hands down. Best view: Mountaintop (worth the drive). Best restaurant: Old Stone Farmhouse...WOW. Best snorkeling: Coki Beach (bring underwater camera and dog biscuits). Everything is easily accessible from Bolongo by car. Thank you Andrew for sharing your piece of Heaven with my family...a memory to be treasured forever!!

This condo is in the perfect place. Fantastic view on the top floor and on the end of the closest building to the beach. We spent every breakfast and every evening on the balcony. Iggies was great. We were a bit worried about the music every night but it ended at 11pm so it was ok and on many nights we enjoyed it. Mims and Iggies had good food and a great view. Bolongo Bay restaurant was ok but not as good as the others. We did enjoy renting their beach toys. Our daughters went parasailing in the bay. We went into Red Hook quite often and infact rented a captain and boat for Nauti Nymph. That turned out to be excellent. Andrew was very helpful when the air conditioner went out in the second bedroom. We came back to find the installation of a new one! The condo had plenty of towels and comfortable beds although the mattress on the sleeper bed was a bit hard. We would rent here again. Thank you.

We had a great time staying in Anthony's condo/villa. It was centrally located so we could go either to Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie depending on what we were doing for the day. We highly recommend renting a car....especially when you have 2 teenagers with you. Bolongo Bay is beautiful to look at from your balcony but is rocky; however, that is okay, because we wanted to explore all of the beaches we could in the 7 days we were there. The central location makes up for the rocky beach. You definitely want to go to Megans - be sure to stop at Udder Delight near this beach for the best milkshakes. Scotty at Sapphire Beach took us scuba diving, and he is a great guy with tons of patience to teach teenagers how to dive. We went to St. John for a day, too, and it was gorgeous. We found lots to do but yet it was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The condo is clean and well maintained. We were very comfortable in it for the week we stayed. It was a safe area and felt very secure with our belongings and rental car. The pool was beautiful, but we are beach lovers. We enjoyed Mim's and Iggies for the evenings we decided to stay local for dinner. We didn't hear neighbors or any noises that would keep you awake at night. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone visiting St. Thomas.

This two bedroom two bath condo was great for a vacation for two couples. Lots of space and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We loved the large balcony with a table and many chairs. We used it a lot and ate most of our meals there. The location is the best on St Thomas. It is within easy walking to the dive shop, Iggys beach bar/restaurant, two other very good restaurants, beach and swimming pools.

My husband and I prefer vacation rentals to hotel rooms so we pretty know what to ask the owner and what to expect. This time however, we were surprised at EVERYTHING! Not only is the condo beautiful but the location, amenities on the property and the surrounding Bolongo Bay Resort have everything you need or want on vacation. This was our first visit to St. Thomas so all our friends gave us advice on what to do and where to go but aside from a taxi ride to Kmart and the supermarket (which if you need to go to either then go to TuTu Plaza where their both located) we really didn't feel the need to go hopping around the island or take a ferry over to St. Johns. For us there was no reason to. Gorgeous Bologo Beach was right outside our front door with plenty of sea turtles and underwater life to see while snorkeling. Water sports, entertainment and three restaurants to choose from were also right outside our front door. Best of all four pools each with different surroundings and views to enjoy. The cliff side pool was our favorite (be sure to get the code for the gate from Andrew.) What more do you need on vacation? So, back to the condo...the bedroom facing the ocean has one of the most comfortable beds we ever slept on while on vacation. No problems with the air conditioning. The residents that live there year round are very friendly. One even offered to drive us to the supermarket since we didn't rent a car (thanks Cindy.) There is always a member of the staff around whether it was housekeeping, maintenance or landscaper so if you have any questions or problems (which we didn't have except how to find the cliff side pool) once we did we it became our favorite. The hotel staff will help you with anything you need off site. Andrew is always available. I sent him 3 or 4 e-mails with question before we arrived and he responded to them all. Thanks Andrew for being so patience. Most off all thank you for the 5 Star accommodations. Connie & Billy

Just got back from my Senior trip I took from me an a couple of buddies of mine from Texas! If you are looking for a great location on the ocean then look no further! Me and my friends had the times of our lives! We were close to town, the ocean, and a great bar right next door! Had a wonderful time and more than likely returning again next year to this same spot!

My husband and I took our 2 children to St. Thomas for a "contrats on graduating" trip (1 from high school and 1 from college)....this condo and it's location was perfect for us and everyone loved the amazing views! Iggys Beach Bar and grill right next door was a big hit for our crew as well as relaxing time spent on the beach. The staff at next door Bolongo Bay Resort were also very friendly and arranged an amazing sail boat/snorkel trip for us that left out of Saphire Beach Marina, highly recommend this (fun and friendly staff and decent price with lunch and all you can drink included!). The condo owner Andrew is very organized and easy to work with. Having been to a few bad rentals in our days of travel I have to say that makes all the difference in the world!....thank you!

I loved this condo and the location, Bolongo Bay, is great. The condo is nicely furnished, clean, has WIFI and is an end unit (NO noise from the neighbors). The views from the balcony of Bolongo Bay cant be beat. The complex has a nice pool with restaurant by the pool. There is a tiki bar/restaurant, Iggys, next door. Red Hook is an easy 5-10 minute drive. There are several restaurants and shops there. You can also catch a ferry to St. Johns and charter pleasure or fishing boats. The owner of the condo was easy to work and very assessable. We had one small issue upon arrival which he took care of quickly.

Andrew, thank you for your help and the accommodations that made our visit to St. Thomas the best vacation I can remember. The location of your condo suited us to a tee and to have an end unit that overlooked some breathtaking scenery was great. I was spoiled with the privacy and quiet location you have and found the unit clean and well maintained. It was our first time in St. Thomas and to be just 3 miles from Red Hook shopping and business district along with the ferry to St. John made this a pleasant week. There are so many restaurants and bars in Red Hook (Big Bambooz…ask for Bethany and have the burger) and we also rented our boat for the snorkeling tour here. We drove around the entire island and I don’t think there is a place that is better located for a fun and active vacation than Bolongo Bay. Your place had plenty of room and I liked the floorplan better than some of the others we saw because it felt more open and roomy. We rented a Jeep from Budget and would suggest that to anyone who visits for a great way to see the island. I wanted to thank you for following up with us and making sure our maintenance item was addressed promptly. Things do go wrong from time to time but you handled it and we got back to having fun without any trouble. When we first saw the pictures of your place and the resort, they looked like publicity photos taken for an advertisement but we were delighted to find that these views were there for us to enjoy and photograph as well. Having Bolongo Bay Resort and IGGIE’s witin 200 yards from the condo was a great surprise. We loved the live music and family friendly atmosphere that also provided good times after the kiddies were in bed. The pool area was perfect for families and singles alike and parking was a breeze. I am grateful that we found your place and look forward to the next visit. Seven days was not enough but and we are already talking about our trip next year. I have told many people about my trip and will recommend your condo as “THE” place to stay when they are considering St. Thomas. Thanks again and have a great summer!

One of the best vacations I have ever had! The location was fantastic...close to all the amenties, within 10 min drive to redhook harbour, The Port, and right next door to IGGIES and Bolongo Bay Resort. I couldn't have asked for a better location. The views from the patio at night were spectacular! Plenty of humming birds buzzing around and listening to the ocean at night was incredible! I would recommend staying here anytime...plus to top it off the owner is very easy to work with and very organized which made the stay even better. A+

Although the condo had a really nice view and good restaurants nearby, we found the unit itself needed a lot of improvements. The blinds in the front bedroom were missing several panels and the light outside kept us awake. We had to tape foil to the windows to sleep. The lamp in the same bedroom didn't work. The bathroom had leftover soap from the previous tenants and no unused soap for us. The pool was great. I feel that the unit really needs some improvements and the bathrooms cleaner. I would not recommed this property to a friend or relative.

Owner response: Well there is nothing more frustrating as a homeowner than to never have been given the opportunity to address someone's issue(s). I never once heard from these people. If you read my other reviews you will notice that it is not common for me to receive a negative review. The blinds break constantly because of this thing called "wind" from the ocean. There are instructions in the welcome packet that tell you where the replacement blinds are located and how to install. If the lamp didn't work well my guess is a bulb was broken and this could have been easily resolved my contacting the maid and/or maintenance. I guess you can't please everyone. For those of you reading the reviews I would like you to know that I always make myself available for any comments or concerns during your stay. I have a full time maid on staff as well as maintenance. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can help make your vacation better.

Hi Andrew. Jenny and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your condo in St. Thomas. We have been blessed to visit St. Thomas a few times now and I can easily say your place in Bolongo Bay was the most convenient and comfortable place we have ever stayed on the island. We rented a car from Hertz (I strongly suggest your other guest rent a car... from a different agency... They were a pain to deal with!) Bolongo Bay is great for several reasons. If you want water sports they have, or can arrange, anything you might want. Pools... There are 2 great ones... Places to eat... Three very good ones on site and more than a dozen more within 10 minutes drive. The condo itself has everything I could think of to want. We packed very light (for us) and we lacked for nothing the entire week. Our friends that live on Water Island told us that, by coincidence, they had visited Bolongo for the first time, a week prior. They couldn't get over how little they had heard about the area with it being as nice as it is. When you look at a resort's website you can be impressed by the entire facility and then be disappointed by the condition and/or location of your "room". As far as we are concerned you have the best location in the resort. The view and the breezes are fantastic. Having Iggie's Beach Bar a short distance away turned out to be great. It's just family friendly enough that anybody would feel comfortable there. The entertainment also ends early enough not to be a problem. In five days we hit Jost Van Dyke, Water Island, Virgin Gorda and St. John. Getting to and from the ferry docks was a breeze. Red Hook was 10 minutes away and the shops and restaurants there were a pleasant surprise. The days flew by and we will definitely give you a call when we are ready to head back to paradise!!

My wife and I stayed here for the first two weeks in February and had a wonderful time. The condo was clean and well equipped (plenty of toilet paper and sundries). Location is excellent - right on the beach, with three nice restaurants on the property. The owner was very professional to deal with and even accommodated our request to purchase an extra night so that we could avoid a snowstorm in New York. While the bathrooms are very basic and could stand some updating, overall we really enjoyed ourselves. We particularly liked the staff at the Bolongo Bay Resort next door. The Heavenly Days catamaran is great fun. The location is extremely convenient to Charlotte Amalie and RedHook. We look forward to returning.

My family and I recently returned from two glorious weeks (12/21/10-1/4/11) in the Virgin Islands, and Andrew's condo was the perfect home base. Incredible views, fabulous pool, plenty of room for two adults, our 16-year old son, 22-year old daughter -- plus her college roommate who joined us for a few days. Loved listening to the music from Iggies each night and, since it was right next door, felt comfortable letting the girls "hang out" while the rest of us went home to bed. The condo is loaded with all the amenities -- including tons of towels so I didn't have to do laundry every day (although with the washer and dryer in the condo, I could have). Although the condo is directly on the water, there is no beach to speak of at Watergate Villas. BUT, Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is right there, and Mike was happy to rent us chairs, floats and kayaks on the days we weren't off exploring other beaches (passed on Coki, but spent a few days at Magens Bay, Smith Bay and Trunk Bay over on St. John). I reviewed a lot of vacation rentals online before narrowing down my selection. No other condo had rates as reasonable, especially for all you get (2bdrm, 2bath, sleep sofa in livingroom, A/C, W/D, WiFi, beachfront pool, walk to three restaurants and more). My tan is starting to fade, but I've got great memories!

My wife and I chose to vacation in St. Thomas for our 3rd wedding anniversary. After reviewing the overpriced hotels that are on the island, we decided to try out a condo. My wife is very picky, and I have allergies, so we were extremely glad that the condo was very clean, well decorated and well maintained. We also liked its location in the complex - it is literally right on the beach at Bolonga Bay and within walking distance to a bunch of nice restaurants. We also liked that it was a good hub to explore the rest of the island and the grocery store being close. With the money that we saved on breakfast and lunch, we were able to splurge on dinner. We ate at Havana Blue, right down the street, for our anniversary dinner, Mim's Fine Seafood Dining on our second night, and cooked at the condo for the next 2 nights. My only recommendation is to wake up early and watch the sunrise from the balcony each day. We didn't do that until our last day, but the view was absolutely amazing. My wife and I totally enjoyed it, and we'll be back again!

Our stay at Watergate Villas in Bolongo Bay was absolutely wonderful. We have been going to St. Thomas for 22 years and this is the best location for beach access we have encountered. It was great rising in the morning and looking out at the ocean. After making our tea and coffee, we would venture out on the balcony and listen to the waves splashing on the shore, warm sun and cool breezes. No need to pack beach towels, lots available. Having a full kitchen was also a big plus. Three restaurants within walking distance, day sails out of Bolongo Bay on Heavenly Days includes snorkeling and an excellent luncheon buffet. We will be considering another stay at this Villa for sure.

My group of 5 - ranging from teeenagers to an older adult - stayed in this condo for a week in July, 2010. It was exactly as advertised and as pictured online, and we were very happy with our stay there. The process of booking the condo went very smoothly, and the owner, Andrew, was very helpful and always responded quickly to any questions that I had. The location at Bolongo Bay was exactly what we wanted - away from the main city of Charlotte Amalie, but in a great location for accessing the beaches and activities at Red Hook, and not even that far from Magen's Bay. There was an excellent grocery store only about 10 minutes away where we could purchase all our necessities, and a Walmart about the same distance. I would definitely recommend having a rental car - it gives you much more freedom of movement than trying to use taxis or public transportation. One of the big advantages of this condo is that there are 3 restaurants in short walking distance. Iggy's - casual , Mim's - seafood and a little more expensive, and the grill at the Bolongo Bay resort - a little fancier and more expensive yet.The food was good at all three. And of course, you could cook in all the time, if desired, as the kitchen is really outfitted with everything you would need. The beach at Bolongo Bay was a bit rocky and the snorkeling was not the best on the island - but it was perfectly good for laying out and getting wet. Also the St. Thomas Dive Club there or the resort could rent you absolutely any type of equipment you might want. The condo had plenty of room, it was clean, and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The views were great and the balcony was roomy with plenty of furniture. The internet worked without any problems, as did the TV. The swimming pool was great - overlooked the ocean, plenty of lounge chairs, and hardly ever crowded. Parking was right outside the condo as well, We loved the resident iguanas too! I had many compliments and no complaints about the condo and would definitely stay there again if I return to St. Thomas!

My new husband and I were lucky enough to stay at this condo for our honeymoon. Truly, there are numerous reasons why we loved our stay, but here are just a few highlights: - The condo is very clean, spacious, and offers the best-of-the-best features for a non-resort accommodation (arguably better than the resorts, too). Furniture is new and clean, the bedrooms and living areas are large, and the kitchen and living room are chock full of all of the appliances, dinnerware, electronics, etc . Everything feels very new. The decor is clean, simple, modern, and appropriate island-airy. - Waterfront - open the sliding doors to the balcony and your view will be better than the one pictured in the ad. I am not joking. You can open the doors and night and fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the shore and the ocean breezes. You can't find this view or proximity at any resort!! - The beds are very, very comfortable. - The air-conditioning unit can crank some seriously cooled air. Dont take this for granted...your new rental car will probably have to work some major overtime in order to stay cool. - Excellent, excellent location. This actually deserves some dedicated bullets. A. Secluded enough from the overly-tourist driven areas but in close proximity to everything that you would want to get to: beaches, downtown, restaurants. You get relief from all of the crowds, traffic congestion, and pricey or over-commercialized nodes of activity, but they are just within a couple minutes drive. B. True privacy because it is not in a big complex. The pool and beach area are never crowded, and the neighboring resort is not large either. You may see 5 - 10 different people out and about at the complex all day. C. Mim's (great atmosphere, great food) and Iggies (fun casual lunch and dinner) are adjacent to the property. You are within a couple of steps of two great waterfront dining options! D. Waterfront. You are right there. The ocean is visible from the balcony, the windows in the kitchen, the pool, the neighboring restaurants....it is killer. E. Location next to the Bolongo Bay Resort means that you can book activities and rent all of the water sports equipment you could ever want without any hassle. The convenience of a resort without staying at one!! We really loved our stay and enjoyed our accommodations at this condo more than our Westin villa on St. John - which is where we stayed for the first half of our honeymoon.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Watergate Villas on Bolongo Bay. Our son was able to walk to scuba diving. The water was wonderful. The condo was perfect for our needs and right on the water. Couldn't ask for a better location. The washer and dryer were fine additions and the kitchen was well stocked.

We very much enjoyed our stay at your condo in Watergate Villas. Your place offers the best view at Bolongo and the waves lulled us to sleep. The close proximity of three fine restaurants, pools and water activities all within walking distance is a definite plus as well as a rare find. Thank you and we look forward to our return soon.

Hi Andrew - We had a great vacation in St. Thomas; the condo worked out very well - although initially it looked a little smaller than in the pictures, it was perfect for the 5 of us and we loved the location on the island; the views were beautiful and it was wonderful to be right on the beach, although we didn't use Bolongo Bay for much swimming/snorkeling because it was rocky and pretty rough. We did go to Sapphire Beach, Secret Harbor and Magen's Bay, all of which were beautiful. We would highly recommend renting a car and Budget worked well. We loved Iggy's and went there twice, including for the Caribbean buffet on Wed. nights - it was a lot of fun. It was terrific to be able to walk to dinner! We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to it - nothing better! As compared to some of the other condos/prices/locations, we think yours was great. The washer/dryer was a nice bonus. We were a little surprised we had to replace toilet paper, paper towels and detergent on our first or second day but it wasn't a big deal. We also couldn't find a flashlight or candles when the lights went out one night. Other than that and the beach being rocky, we had no complaints. We will definitely consider another trip to St. Thomas in the future. We took the ferry to St. John and that was great; we also chartered a boat for several hours from Water's Edge and had fun water-skiing and tubing. I don't know if there was a "welcome packet" other than the one I got off of the internet; if there was supposed to be something at the condo, we didn't see it; sorry we had to call you for the internet password. Again, thank you and we had a very enjoyable, memorable vacation. Eileen

2/7-2/14/10 Andrew, What a perfect winter getaway. We weren't sure we were going to get there with the snow, but we arrived and it was great. The condo was well equipped and in a perfect location. We only left the complex 1 time to do a quick tour. Everything you need is right there. Our favorite restaurant was Mim's. Great food. We had a little sticker shock at the grocery store, but I did leave some nonperishables for the next guest. I truly thank you for the use of your beach chairs as well as the beach towels. Having the washer and dryer in the unit is a great addition. The railings are still being worked on, but all the workers were great. They didn't bother us at all. We would rent your condo again. Susan and Brian

Andrew, Thanks much for the use of your condo and all the good advice. The view is fabulous and the space is lovely. We loved having the use of the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler. Being near Bolongo and Iggy's was a treat. And after visiting other condos around the island, we think we landed at the best location. Thanks again and keep us on your list! Char and Paul

We had a wonderful time on this beautiful Island. We also had a few problems on our arrival. Construction was going on the railing of the corridor making it very difficult to get into the condo. On arrival the cleaning woman was still working which went on for about an hour after our arrival. Not able to unpack the food or settle in until around 4:30. The toilet wasn't flushing but maintenance did come fix that and the garbage disposal when that wasn't working. The spout of the coffee pot was broken but we could pour the coffee so we made do with that. The screen doors kept coming off the tracks but again not a huge deal. The condo was spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable and plenty of towels for beach and showers. Loved having a washer and dryer and two bathrooms terrific. The view was great and kitchen well stocked. Once we got the kinks out everything was great. Defiantly rent a car as there is a market close by and gorgeous beaches. Thank you for sharing your condo. We really had a great time and enjoyed the hummingbirds every morning. What a piece of heaven.

Owner response: Hi Elizabeth, Thanks so much for the feedback. The association is in the process of replacing all the handrails on the walkways so sorry about the construction. Since you booked a week before I did my best to get the maid in on short notice since it was a same day turnaround. The maintenance staff is definitely a blessing to have on-site for any miscellaneous repairs you may encounter. Thank you for the feedback and I am very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.

My wife, 2 young children and I stayed at Andrew's condo in November 2009. What a great trip! The floor plan works excellent for 2 adults and 2 kids, or 2 adult couples. The condo offered both spacious living/dining areas as well as the privacy of 2bed/2bath layout. The bedrooms are separated by hallway/laundry room. I was surprised at how sound proof the walls were (great for napping 1 yr. old). The washer/dryer was a much appreciated bonus. Appliances in the kitchen are all upgraded and perfect for cooking "at home" which really helped keep down our costs. Andrew has done an excellent job of maintaining this property and providing all the necessities for a beach vacation. There are beach toys for the kids, beach chairs, beach towels, magazines and books/novels. He even has WiFi and a play station with games! The location was great for several reasons. This is a top floor corner condo with an AMAZING view of Bolongo Bay. It offers privacy when you want it as well as an easy walking distance to 3 restaurants/nightclubs. We ate at all three and enjoyed them all. We were there for a week and rented a car on Andrew's recommendation. Great advice! Andrew provided a welcome packet with all the local grocery stores, beaches, and nearby restaurants/attractions. If you want a location that offers an authentic island feel with convenient access to all of St. Thomas' tourist attractions, then this is where you want to be.

My family spent a week in Andrew's condo. The location is incredible, on the beach in Bolongo Bay. The views from the condo are incredible. We had many meals on the deck watching the sunset. Andrew was so easy to work with, very responsive and informative. I would definitely rent from him again. Enjoy his paradise!

I have stayed at this condo 3 different times in the past 2 years and absolutely love it. The location is ideal, with three restaurants/bars within walking distance but it is still very private & beautiful! The condo is literally right on the beach and has the absolute BEST view as it is a top floor end unit....I am certain no other unit in this complex has such a great view! In addition to having a very private and beautiful beach, there is also a fabulous pool to enjoy. The unit itself is really nice, the owner has clearly taken great care of it and made several upgrades. Something I am picky about when I travel is the bed linens and these are great.....really high thread count, comfy down comforters, great pillows, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is a brand new stove so it is a breeze to cook in. The huge balcony overlooking the beach is perfect for relaxing on with a glass of wine. The condo has everything you could want, from cable TV and free WiFi to plenty of good books, games, and beach towels. There are even rafts, beach toys and coolers in the hall closet! Andrew (the owner) has been fabulous to work with every time we have stayed here. He responds quickly and courteously to your inquiries and obviously takes great care of the condo. I would (and have) highly recommend this rental to anyone staying on St. Thomas!

We just returned from our vacation in St. Thomas. It was absolutely wonderful!! The condo is clean and surprisingly large. Met wonderful and helpful people. The pool is a great place to meet new friends with great dinner recommenations. Latitude 18 is a must. Hard to find but worth the search Car rental is a must. Easy to get around the island and took the ferry to St. John and toured the island. Drivers are considerate, not like the U.S. Thanks Andrew for a great and memorable vacation. Will recommend to others. Brenda

We're back and just wanted to let you know we had an awesome time. We met several helpful locals that made sure we got around to where we wanted to go. There was a small earthquake on Saturday morning before 7am but not bad. Thanks for the condo and we have told several friends about your site on VRBO. It was a pleasure doing business with you! Many thanks for the help and the service you provided for our stay in St Thomas. Your condo is lovely and all that the ad said it would be and then some. Spacious, nicely decorated, light and airy, right on the beach...next to a nice resort and Iggie's beach bar, but private. Our 'large' family of five fit easily and comfortably for sleeping and dining, and the balcony is far and way the best spot to spend you time...what a view, and the ocean breeze was perfect ! Washer/dryer was a godsend, and we loved the kitchen and ability to eat 'in' from time to time. Thanks again.

We stayed at the Watergate Villas East unit 17-30 owned by Andrew Malone and we had a wonderful stay. The unit itself is clean and comfortable. It was my mother & father-in-law, my mother, my husband, my 6 month old son and me! We slept with the sliding door to the balcony open every night...listening to the ocean - it was wonderful. What I loved about renting the condo rather than staying at a hotel is that you don't have to eat out for every meal. We shopped at the Food Center and the Marine Market in Red Hook and ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Grocery prices are a little pricey but not too terrible. It was nice to just relax in the mornings and not have to go anywhere to eat. Andrew Malone is very kind and helpful. Unit 17-30 is located the closest to Bolongo Bay Resort and is an end unit. When you step out onto the balcony you literally overlook the ocean and the beach and not the roof top of another condo building. While we were there we called up a Realtor and looked at some other condos in Bolongo Bay. Some of them were Watergate and some were in the condos further back (I can't remember what they were called). If we were to buy a condo I would buy one in Watergate because the location is fantastic. Staying in Bolongo Bay was perfect for us because it is nice and quiet and if you don't want to, you don't every have to leave. Iggies restaurant/bar is right there with great food and atmosphere. There are two nice restaurants right there too - Mims at the Watergate and The Lobster Grille at Bolongo Bay Resort. If you are going back and forth between renting a car or using taxi's....don't even consider NOT renting a car. It's not worth it. Renting a car was worth the money to be independant and not have to deal with taking taxi's with their expensive fares. If you are traveling with a child - take your own car seat, it wasn't a big deal to check it with our luggage. Bring your own formula. I decided to wait to buy what I needed there but had to go to three different stores to find Similac Advance in the powder where it was $7.00 more. I didn't have a problem waiting to buy diapers there though. They were only $5.00 more per pack but they seem to only have Pampers Baby Dry (no swaddlers or cruisers) and Huggies and are a little bit limited on sizes. I needed size 3 and not every place had them. Definitely go to St. John. We took the ferry from Red Hook. Trunk Bay had the best snorkeling.

We really loved this villa! The top corner unit provides optimal views, and affords privacy. It is decorated tastefully, and the views from the living room/dining area, kitchen, & master bedroom are spectacular! The balcony is an oversized one with PLENTY of room to walk around, and enjoy the views while experiencing the pleasant ocean breeze. This place is not only suitable for families, but for seniors too, as there are 3 restaurants right in the resort area so you don't have to travel very far at night unless you choose to. In late Jan, early February there were just enough people to make it interesting, but not overly crowded or noisy at all. We highly recommend this rental property.

Andrew, Just wanted to let you know we really enjoyed staying at your condo. It had a beautiful view,we fell asleep listening to the waves and woke up to beautiful sunrises. We had 3 teenagers with us, my daughter, son and his girlfriend so the way the bathroom is set up for the 2nd bedroom worked out great. We did some snorkeling to the left of the dock at bolongo and saw a sea turtle, a puffer fish and alot of other small fish,it was great.Iggy's had really good food and we ate there alot. The pool was nice and never very many people there...Hopefully we will get to come back to St Thomas again,we would definitely stay at your condo again, Thanks, Carol Turner

Andrew, I am SO glad we were finally able to get to St Thomas for a week instead of a few hours. It is a beautiful place, and even driving on the "wrong side" was fun. The eight of us want to let the world know that Bolongo Bay and your condo (and Karen's) are the perfect places to explore the islands, play on the beaches, and relax all your cares away. (We spent loads of time in both places!) You have decorated a lovely island retreat and it made our stay even more wonderful. Back home, but dreaming of sunrises over the water and dinners in the soft breezes at Bolongo Bay. 'Til next time.... our heartfelt thanks!
