The Nihilani Condo was great!!! We had 5 adults in our group and the place was very spacious--the split floorplan and the additional daybed in the living area made it a comfortable stay for everyone in our group. Plenty of towels (including beach towels) and extra bedding. The condo was clean and exactly as pictured. It was so convenient to have a washer and dryer in the condo. The pool is just a couple minutes walk and is very nice. The Princeville Market is very close and has a grocery store, restaurants (CJs had great food!!!), and several shops. Felicia also provided a discount card for the grocery store in the welcome packet!!! Have coffee on the lanai and enjoy the Kaua'i Cardinals that will come by and visit. We did several excursions--Ziplining at Princeville Outdoor Adventures (right up the road and highly recommend!!!); Mountain Tubing at Kaua'i Outdoor Adventures; Sunset Dinner Cruise with Captain Andy. Hanalei Beach is a short drive down the road and is a great beach!!! Easy to get to and you can park right on the beach. Also a great area to hang out--have a Mai Tai at Tahiti Nui!! Princeville is on the North Side so plan accordingly when heading out to dinner or excursions on the south or west side of the island--had dinner at the Beach House in Poipu--great food--just a little bit of a drive--but worth it. Overall, we had a great stay!! It was our first trip to Kaua'i and will definitely be in our future travel plans--we would definitely stay at this location again--it was the perfect 'home away from home"---in paradise!!! Mahalo Felicia!!!

This Nihilani condo was more than we could have hoped for, it's even better than the pictures. The condo was immaculate with all the ammenities. We cooked quite a bit in the condo, and it had everything we could want. It even had things we didn't use, like a rice cooker, very nice. My husband liked the common grilling area buy the pool. He has stayed in several condo's in Kauai, specifically in Princeville, and he would pick this over others, and is recommending it to his parents. There were lots of beach items, snorkel equipment, beach towels and mats. It is very close to the grocery store in Princeville, which makes cooking convenient. Also not far to Hanalai Dolphin Fish Market where we purchased some wonderful fresh fish for grilling, also the Hanalai Dolphin has a nice restaurant where we had some delicious cocktails, I can't remember the name, but it was like a orange dreamsicle, so creamy and tropical, yum! We liked that we could store our rental car in the garage too. It's close to many beautiful beaches, we didn't have time to visit them all. The owner Felicia met us on our arrival and thoroughly explained everything about the condo that we would need to know. She was also available to answer any questions during our stay, she didn't make us feel like we were bothering her, she said she was our personal concierge. She had a binder with information and recommended restaurants that we found helpful too. We can't wait to go back!

Just wanted to let everyone know what a fabulous time we had at Nihilani #30. We loved everything about the place- location, comfort, view- all were spectacular! Felicia was an excellent hostess, very knowledgable and informative about the area. If you have the chance- book this place! Felicia thanks so much for all of your help and courtesy :) Sincerely, The Barnes's

This property by far exceeded our expectations. It was in a exceptional, quiet location in Princeville. The condo was spacious, immaculate, and very equipped. My husband especially loved the garage parking. Felicia was the absolute best. We have already recommended this property and plan on returning every year with family and friends. Thanks again Felicia!

We've stayed in several different complexes in Princeville over the years. This was by far the best and our favorite. The complex is beautiful and the location of this unit is great - a beautiful courtyard unit close to the pool - not on the street!. The condo was PERFECT. Better than can be displayed or described in pictures. What really made our stay even better is how Felicia takes such great pride in sharing this property with her guests. She met us on arrival and gave us a great walkthru of the unit & property. She also called us a few times during our visit to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will absolutely be staying here again!
Owner response:It was our pleasure to host you stay! We look forward to seeing you again. Aloha pumahana!

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights in this 2 bdrm/2 bath condo in the Princeville area. I can say without hesitation that the condo was the nicest and cleanest condo I have ever stayed in. The pictures on the internet, do NOT do it justice. It is impeccably appointed, and has every possible convenience. Felicia was excellent answering all of our questions before and during our stay, and even provided great recommendations on everything to where to buy groceries, to where to have a quiet dinner on the beach. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone interested in staying in the Princeville area.
Owner response:Mahalo for your kind words and review - We very much appreciate your feedback that is invaluable to our business.

First off, Felicia is the best! She was so kind, easy to work with, helpful and made our stay so comfortable. The condo is in a perfect location in upscale Princeville. It is close to everything. The condo was exactly as promised and looked exactly like what the pictures do on VRBO--no surprises--wahoo! Everything was in good repair. It was nice to have a garage to put the car in each night. The kitchen was great to prepare meals when we were too tired from all the beaching and hiking on some days. The pool area is really nice and we were the only ones there on the two nights we went there. We will definitely stay here again when next we go to Kauai and would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to stay in a really nice place at a really nice price and with someone that you can trust to make sure your stay goes off without any hitches.
Owner response:We are very thankful for your kind words and review...We look forward to seeing you again soon!

The accommodations here in Princeville were fantastic! This was a nice, newer facility with all the amenities included! We especially appreciated the beautiful pool with cascading waterfall. The owner was very helpful and accommodating to our arrival and departure times. We definitely recommend this unit to anyone headed to the Kauai! It was wonderful!

Very well maintained with all the necessary amenities and beach gear needed. Easy to find. Great location near paths (I ran around most of Princeville) and access to hot tub/pool is only a few units away. I would recommend a car rental to explore the neighboring beaches as well as the rest of the island. The owner/manager very nice and accessible and provided me with recommended activities. I would definitely consider staying at this rental in the future. In addition, I would highly recommend to family and friends.

We were here for 4 nights. We were met when we arrived and given a quick orientation for the condo and answered our questions about the area. The condo is really a nice size, the huge closets in the master bedroom were very helpful to organize our space. The bed is very comfortable, we were never bothered by any noise from outside. I had a couple of questions about Kauai before we arrived and the owner was very helpful in providing pointers to answer them. We went to the pool and enjoyed the pool, hottub and bbq. The people that we met there were also very friendly. Everything looked new, worked well and contributed to a very comfortable stay. Princeville is a nice compromise location between Hanalei and Kapa'a. Plan on driving about 15-20 minutes in either direction to get to the beach - to the north - the incredible snorkeling at Kee beach. Head south to Kapa'a for some of the best boogie boarding that you will find on the island. (Scott's BBQ restaurant in Kapa'a has a terrific breakfast buffet for only $8 with one of the most amazing views you will see from any eating establishment.) While there are not many choices for food in Kapa'a, North Shore Grindz (the eatery inside the Chevron gas station) is really a great value - good food (pizza, burgers, etc) at a good price. They give you one of those buzzer devices so you can walk around the shops near by while you're waiting for your food. There is enough space for everyone. I highly recommend it.
Owner response:Mahalo! We look forward to your next stay with us and appreciate the positive feedback.

This is a fabulous two bedroom, two bathroom Princeville condo. Well-appointed in the expected areas; plus the bonus of supplies for the beach (including cooler, boogie boards, sand toys, etc.). Spacious, clean, and quiet. There's even a crib and inflatable beds if needed. We enjoyed the pool, it wasn't busy at all. Princeville/Hanalei is one of the most beautiful areas in the world, and you really feel like you're "getting away from it all." If you decide to stay here, please treat the unit with the respect it deserves!
Owner response:Mahalo Robert - I think we need to hire you as a PR rep! We appreciate your thoughts!

My wife and I just recently returned from a stay here (July2010) and everything was wonderful. The place was very clean and well equipped. We loved the location, it was a short drive to many things. The property made for a very relaxing vacation. Now we are just wondering how we are going to return, and we will not hesitate to stay here. The two rooms are located on opposite sides of the condo which makes for extra privacy. Honestly there was nothing wrong or bad with the condo.
Owner response:Mahalo for your stay and kind words! We look forward to seeing you again soon - Aloha!

Last year was our 6th consecutive year on Kauai and our stay here was excellent. We stayed about 16 days. Owner is a resident in another location and has professional local - (across the street!) - help for anything that might come up. The location is perfect for everything. Golf you can walk to, everything else is a short car ride away for groceries etc. Hanalei is 15 minutes to the pier. One of the best things is the 2 car garage. Seems weird, but keeping the beach out of the house is nice. And because of the automatic door, you can pretty much leave all your wet dirty beach stuff right next to the car for reloading after drying out the next days events. I'd say the garage is a somewhat unusual feature. Usually we have to bring all that stuff into the house. Oh, and there are coolers and beach mats and a couple umbrellas, toys etc. for use there as well. This is a great deal too, as it saved us some $$ and time. Neighborhood is about 50/50 vactioners and full time residents. It's nice and quiet there, grills were ok, not super hot but we managed ;-).. Only real downsides were cell coverage for us was horrible (Sprint) but that might be a plus to some. And we like to cook a lot and we thought the kitchen could have had some more cookware - but again, we managed very well and these two things are pretty minor. Overall, a great place and huge value. Coming back soon we hope.
Owner response:We are honored to be part of your Kauai vacation and hope to see you again soon! Mahalo!
