We stayed at this villa for the first 2 weeks in october we found it very easy to find and it was situated very close to all attractions activities and restaurants.the villa was very clean and well maintained it was even better than imagined,it was really spacious had everything needed and more.The villa had pool,hot tub and games room which were perfect to relax and use in the evenings by adults and children or when having a chill day the villa also had a garden which was all fenced off secure and private.I would definately use again or recommend to friends and family the owners were very helpul and answered any questions i had no problems at all and me and my family had an amazing holiday thankyou x

Paradise Villa

Hi Lee, Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home. This was our 11th visit to USA and the perfect chill following our short break in NYC. Weather, pool, hot tub, everything in fact exceeded our expectations. Only a short drive to all of the parks and only 1:30 min drive to St Pete's Beach. So many eateries within a short drive. Top of the list Lee has to be your recommendation being "Mannies ", Haines City. What a place and the steaks are to die for. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anybody considering a house rental holiday in Florida. Great value for money and a pleasure to do business with you Lee. Disney home away from home(who am I kidding, my home is not this nice!)

We recently spent a wonderful week at this immaculate vacation home. The hot tub and pool made leisure time perfect. We spent our down time from Disney playing pool in the game room, swimming and relaxing in front of a large screen TV. There are so many local restaurants and shopping areas yet the neighborhood is quiet and off the beaten path. My teens love to run cross country and ran six or seven miles each morning behind the home through fields while watching hot air balloons take off. The house was so comfortable there were some days we just wanted to stay "home". Lee was wonderful in answering any questions and we felt spoiled the minute we walked into the house to find everything we needed available to us. It was nice sleeping in a couple of the days sneaking out on the screened porch with a cup of hot coffee and a good book. I highly recommend this home especially for families as it has 3 private suites and two additional bedrooms and an extra bath. The Disney parks are an easy 15 to 20 minutes away and you won't find this much luxury at this price anywhere on Disney property.

Great Holiday

Hi Lee and Alyson, We had great time staying at your villa, it had everything that we need and more. The pool was amazing and was always warm and refreshing. The villa is situated in a great location which isn’t that far from the attractions and shops. It was great to come home from a long day at the parks and be able to relax in the pool or hot tub. We all really enjoyed the holiday and hope to return again to your villa in the near future. I have recommended your villa to all my friends. ?)

Great Vacation!!

We had a great time during our vacation to Orlando. When we arrived the house was very clean and had many amenities available such as a crib, extra stroller, high chair, games and videos for the children and for the adults. It was a very hot, humid week but the pool was refreshing and the air conditioner worked!! We all had a great time in the pool and games room. The Disney and Universal attractions are easy to get too and there was plenty of shopping available within 10 minutes! Thank you so much for making our vacation enjoyable and easy!!!

Fantastic Holiday - Thanks for the memories

Hi Lee and Alyson, We had a fantastic time in your Paradise Villa and I just wanted to say we had the best Holiday ever. We had never been to Florida before and it was fantastic. The villa was brillant, there were 8 of us in total, 2 families and we all had our own space and we all loved the pool and hottub. On arrival the house was very clean and it was better than we expected. The pictures on this website and the additional ones you sent us via e-mail are a very good reflection of the house and are up to date. The villa is very well furnished and the leather sofa's in the living room were nice and comfortable and we loved the large screen TV. It was also good to have high speed internet. The children had the upstairs bedrooms and we had the two downstairs suites. The pool area is fantastic and it was so nice to have the garden fenced so you are totally private. The kids just loved having there own pool in the back garden which is something we just don't have at home. The gamesroom was also great and the kids loved playing pool. The house is in an ideal location, close enough to the attractions but quiet enough for 'chilling out' after hectic days in the theme parks. We met Steve and Dee your house managers who dropped by to say hello which I thought was really nice. Thanks again for letting us rent your beautiful villa, we will come back again and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends. Thanks for the memories.

Paid for extras that didn't materialize

I've waited 3 months after we rented this property before I wrote this review in an attempt to allow the owner to resolve the situation. Needless to say, no resolution has been forthcoming. We rented this property for a week in January and it was our final family vacation. We paid extra for heated pool and whirlpool, but the water never got even a little warm. We reported it to the property manager who attempted everything that she could, but to no avail. Upon returning home we attempted to contact the owner (who responded within 24 hours when we were inquiring about renting the unit) and received no response. At one point he did call my home, informed my wife that his response to my e-mails was not going to my account, assured my wife that he would refund the additional charges, and asked that we send another note from another e-mail account. We created a new Yahoo account and sent all of the information, yet never heard back nor have we seen any refund. I am totally disappointed in the owner's inability to stand by his property. Here is a summary of Pros and Cons that we experienced: Pros: 1) The property manager. She did everything within her powere to get the heater working, but it was not to be. She admitted that it was a new heater, and had not worked yet. 2) Proximity to Disney World. We were within a short drive from the park and it was easily accessible. 3) Proximity to groceries and restaurants. Cons: 1) Owner. Communication after he had my money was terrible. Did not respond when I sent him a note prior to our departure for the vacation asking if there was anything that we should be aware of. Did not respond to numerous inquiries concerning the heated pool. Did not respond period. 2) The game room. Although it was fun, the one pocket of the pool table had no rung, so the balls fell to the floor. The foosball table was missing a goal, so the ball fell to the floor on every goal. 3) Cleanliness upon arrival. My wife found a used feminine napkin wrapper in the upstairs bathroom when we arrived. Floor in the game room needed to be swept (which we did). Bottom line, with all of the available properties in this area, I would suggest avoiding this one. There are others in the same area that should provide better results.

The house has some good points, for instance the pool, game-room, patio, hot tub, nice living area and kitchen (with some exceptions which I'll go into in a second). The biggest problem that we had was when I contacted the owner about the availability of a crib, I was told that all the villas had a crib. Based on that information I did not travel with a pack-n-play crib. Upon arriving at the villa there was no crib, and when I attempted to contact the property managers my calls and messages were ignored. I emailed the owner and after 3 days my email was responded to, and I was told that the he would forward the info to the property managers. In the meantime I had to go out an purchase a pack-n-play crib so that my baby would have somewhere to sleep in the villa. I was disappointed that the owner/property managers made no effort to solve the problem or reimburse me for my expense of purchasing a crib. Additionally the vila is closer to 30 minute to the attractions then the advertised 15 minute drive. The majority of the house is in serious need of updating and repair. Their are numerous holes in the drywall, the beds are uncomfortable and need replacement due to their old age. The range-top cooker oven does not close and therefore does not operate unless you prop a chair against it to make it fully latch (this needs immediate attention). There are also several closet door that that are off the hinges and propped against the walls. We also constantly received phone calls to the villa to someone that perhaps once lived there before. Overall the stay would have been average, if the owner and property managers had attempted to resolve the problem with the missing crib. Since they did not I rate the stay as fair, and it is very unlikely that I would ever return to any of the owners villas. In my opinion the descriptions/pictures are dated and misrepresent the actual condition of the property.

Owner response:Hi John, Thanks for the comments, your feedback is very important to us. I apologise that the crib was not in the villa on arrival. Every villa we own does have one crib and one high chair but as we own several properties on the same community our house managers or house keeping sometimes move them around if somebody else requires and additional one but I am sorry about that. There are several ways to go to the Disney Parks, Animal Kingdom which is one of those is the nearest to the villa if you travel along the US192. My family and I who are regular visitors to Disney do travel that way and it normally takes around 15 mins to Animal Kingdom but I can understand that at busy times and certainly travelling to Magic Kingdom it could take slightly longer. My two house managers have been made aware of the issues you raised and they have all been repaired. Again thanks for the feedback which is important to us.
