Nestled on a corner lot just three houses away from the beach access, you will have no need to worry about loading all of your beach wear as the sparkling sands are only a short walk away.
619 Dolphin is uniquely centered around one great room which is divided into 4 different living spaces: the living room facing a fire place, the den area facing the TV, the dining area that can seat up to 16 people, and the Kitchen that has space to adequately hold up to 3-4 cooks with a bar area that can accomodate several "visitors" while meals are prepared. Additionally, there is a propane gas grill just off the back porch at the ground level.
Also on this main floor is the first of two bedroom/bath suites and a half bath for guests. Out the front door, what do we find? The wonderful front porch that runs the length of the house. Out the back door?? Another wonderful porch that connects the great room to the Master bedroom. LOts of haning out room for everyone.
The second floor has a central hallway that leads to the second master bedroom suite and to the other 4 bedrooms, all with jack-and-jill bathrooms and porch access. These top floor porches are open and uncovered for those who want to sunbathe without going to the beach
On the ground floor of 619 Dolphin there is plenty of room for all kinds of vehicles. With two garages, double front driveways and enough space on the side lot to accomodate 2-3 more vehicles. Be sure and save room for a few golf carts though as they are the main mode of transportation at Fripp Island!

Most vacations last about 7 days, but a week at Fripp Island comes with enough memories to last a lifetime. There’s 3.5 miles of unspoiled, uncrowded white beach just waiting for your footprints in the sand. And when you want to take a break in the pool there are seven to choose from. During the summer season our Beach Rental Hut has cabana umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards for your pleasure. You can even get up a game of volleyball in front of the Beach Club.
The natural beauty of Fripp Island is legendary. From the lush subtropical scenes in the “Jungle Book” and Forest Gump” to the romantic ocean vistas in the “Price of Tides”, the images of Fripp Island will stay in your mind forever. Some 400 families of deer, raccoons and alligators live in perfect harmony with the residents of the island. And where the land meets the sea, the endangered Loggerhead Turtles return each year to lay their eggs along the dune line.
Tennis at Fripp Island is a year round sport. The Racquet Club with 8 Fast-Dry clay courts and two hard courts is directly across the street from the beach and part of the Beach Club complex. If your passion is water sports, you can explore the backwaters and creeks surrounding our island in one of our kayaks or canoes. The resort has so many rental toys you may want to stay an extra week just for the shear fun of it. Golf carts are the preferred method of transportation among guests on the island and can be rented by the week, day or hour. Biking is a great way to explore the island along miles of trails that connect you with every part of the resort. If mopeds are your thing, you can do your sightseeing at 25mph.
The Activity Center is the focal point of all the great social programs on the island like “Meet the Animals." Kids will never forget their first experience at Camp Fripp. If you are 3-12 years old, it’s the most fun you can have with your sneakers on!! Each day is themed and ranges from Pirates of Skull Creek to Wild, Wild West and Mad Scientist Day.
If fishing is your passion, you’ll love coming here. Offshore fishing with our experienced charter guides can be arranged at the Marina Store. The Gulf Stream is abundant with sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, grouper and snapper. Inshore fishing for flounder, trout, drum and tarpon is popular around the island. The Marina hosts a number of fishing tournaments in the spring, summer and falland expert guide service connections. At the end of the day, take a Sunset Cruise on our 49 foot pontoon boat or come early for the 2-hour Dolphin Cruise.
Two of the most spectacular golf courses in America are right here on Fripp Island. Ocean Point, a true seaside links course boasts dramatic views of the ocean or inlet on 10 of the 18 holes. On the south end of the island is Ocean Creek, Davis Love III’s first signature course. Ocean Creek offers magnificent panoramic views of the Great Salt Marsh and freshwater lakes with four distinctive rolling dune line that come into play.
Do you still need more things to do?? Try Hunting Island State Park located just before Fripp Island. Hunting Island is the home for a real light house which is awesome to see and explore. Beaufort, SC itself is a very friendly bay town of the old south. It offers many fine restaurants and hours of good looking and shopping its many quaint walkways and southern shops. Beaufort also has a newly finished river walk that people of all ages can enjoy.

My family and I had such a wonderful time. I was looking forward to this trip and I knew we would have a good time, but I had no idea how much this island had to offer, we went to the beach, the pool, to a carnival, went on the dolphin cruise (Captin Ralph is the coolest!Highly recommend!), out for ice cream, to the Bonita Boathouse for dinner, grilled out, fed the deer, played volleyball, played basketball, went to two parks, went crabbing with the activity center (very good for kids), took a tour of Hunting Island lighthouse, toured the fire house (they fully dressed my kids in fire fighting gear), played Frisbee, built sand castles, went treasure hunting, and so much more! You have thought of every thing in your beach house to make our stay the most comfortable of all of our vacations, from even a step stool so the kids can reach their own cereal to feed them selves. Breathtaking beaches, beautiful beach house, and extremely nice people.
