What a great property! The condo is comfortable with washer dryer, full kitchen, 2 baths, and a nice sitting/dining area. The view is of the pool and the ocean. It is convenient with grocery store across the street and a lot of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. However, you'll want a car to explore Kauai and best enjoy it's astonishing beauty. The owner was easy to work with. Upon arrival, I simply entered a code and moved in. We stayed for 18 days and I recommend Hanalei Bay for a great beach and Kintaro's for Japanese food. This is a wonderful accommodation and we hope to return.

My wife and I just returned from a one week vacation on Kauai to watch our son play in a college golf tournament. We stayed at Lori's condo at the Waipouli Beach Resort and it was a true "gem" of a find. First of all, Lori was marvelous to work with. She was friendly and personable, promptly answered my e-mails, and didn't mind my questions at all. Since she lives on the island, she is a great resource. As for the condo, the location could not have been better -- it was basically half-way between the north shore Princeville area and the southern shore Poipu area. Actually the brief, stunning, scenic drives to each were highlights for us. The condo itself was beautiful, and I would agree that it likely has the best view of the complex -- the gorgeous palm-fringed pool area, and the waves rolling in on the ocean beyond. The condo's furnishings are beautiful -- including a true "chef's kitchen", which is pretty cool even when you're just having coffee! The king bed was exceedingly comfortable. Also, being a top floor penthouse unit it was very quiet as well. I place a high value on NOT having to spend 5-10 minutes getting from my room to my car or the pool, as in a huge resort. At Lori's condo, parking is free and it takes 2 minutes at most to get to or from your car, or to or from the pool. There were many other wonderful amenities as well: free wi-fi, spa on site, concierge in lobby, gorgeous pool, Starbucks and grocery store directly across the street from the main entrance, and good restaurants within walking distance. The quaint town of Kapa'a was about a 2 mile drive up the road, with fun shops, and we had one of the best meals of our trip at The Eastside. I truly don't think we could have found a better place to stay, and we cannnot wait to get back. I just hope Lori has room when the time comes!!

My husband and I just returned from an amazing Hawaiian vacation. We visited the Big Island for 6 nights and then to Kauai for 5 nights. We stayed at Lori's condo at on Kauai. I truly don't know where to begin. IT WAS AMAZING!! First of all, Lori is FANTASTIC. She will do anything she can to provide you with information, tips and fun things to do and see on the island ... as well as make your stay a wonderful one. She is friendly, warm and very pleasant to work with and always responds to emails quickly. The condo is spectacular. It is clean, beautiful, up-to-date, spacious and has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is a gourmet kitchen. The view is gorgeous! Lori's condo overlooks the beautiful pools and grounds of the Resort and then a full ocean view beyond that. Absolutely spectacular. You will be over-the-top happy if you get the opportunity to enjoy Lori's beautiful condo. Mahalo Lori!!! - Rob & Kathy - (California)

My wife and I enjoyed Kauai for 10 days in June-July 2010! We loved every moment of it. This condo truly is wonderful. All the amenities one could want. Centrally located on the island. It was very easy to take a nice drive up either side of the island. The pictures of the condo are nice but do not do it any justice. Great view of the ocean from balcony. We would walk to the beach (right behind the condos in photo) every morning with our coffee and watch the waves roll in. There are lounge chairs with tiki umbrellas and tables on the beach! Very private, very clean beach front - not a swimming beach (coral bottom). Did I mention it is a 2 minute walk from this condo! Also, on our last morning we watched two endangered hawaiian monk seals relax on the beach together. Wildlife volunteers were present, protecting the animals and informing anyone interested! To sum it up. This is an amazing place to stay if you are planning on seeing Kauai. We can't wait to return. I will be sending my mom and dad in May for anniversary/ birthday. Beautiful condo, by far the nicest place to stay. This unit has the best view of the pool and ocean. We will be back next year!! The owners of this condo are fabulous people, you will not be disappointed. ALOHA!

My family stayed here in July 2007 and have been dreaming about returning ever since. The condo is wonderfully equipted and the appliances make you want to become a gourmet cook. The view is excellent during the day and at night. Our two young children loved the pool and we never seemed to get them out of it. After much research I would HIGHLY recommend this condo and this owner. Enjoy your stay, hope you get to see a monk seal on the beach.

we have been staying here for a couple of weeks and the condo is everything you can need. The pictures are exact, the view amazing. You see right up the middle of the complex to the ocean. No noise from other units and far enough away from the pool. It is exceptional. Location of unit to pool ect no more than 2 minutes. Shops behind us for easy access. Resort has enough amenities although the food at teh snack bar is average at best. The beach in front has rocks but our 4 year old played there on calm days and we snorkled out front. The best part was dealing with Lori. I have not rented through vrbo before and she was gracious with her time, answered emails and silly questions from me. I would rent here again and again. Great place and great family handling the rental process. Thank you

We recently sent our son and his new bride to vacation at this property. When I asked for help in surprising the honeymooners with a Hawaiian basket full of island treats, Lori willingly went out and got the items and arranged the basket. I couldn't have asked for a kinder person to help me out! They loved the condo and the location; the view from the condo was even more spectacular than they had hoped for. Thanks, Lori, for making their honeymoon so special!
