Fish or swim from the dock, power and fresh water are available on the dock - water is tidal and draws 4 1/2 feet at low tide.
"Wine is water kissed by sunlight" so said Plato, and although he was never on the North Fork he described it perfectly. The sparkling water of the picturesque inlets and beaches hug the coasts of both the Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay.
The quaint fishing villages have wonderful restaurants; world class wineries are available to visit and enjoy; there is fantastic outlet shopping 15 minutes away; the Hamptons are 20 miles away and can be reached by car or ferry; New York City is 80 miles east and bus and train service are available.
