Come and enjoy our log cottage on one of Maines finest and cleanest lakes. Damariscotta lake is 13 miles long and home to an abundance of wildlife. You can spend your afternoon kayaking or canoeing from the private dock at the waters edge. The waterfront has a a sand beach area and is shallow at the entrance to the water which is nice for younger swimmers.
The home has an updated kitchen with a dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, and microwave. The living and dining room area is spacious with a brick fireplace and cathedral ceiling. The newest addition is a sunroom with southern views of the lake. This room is nice for getting away from the crowds and relaxing. There are three bedrooms and two full baths and does include a washer and dryer. The waterfront deck has sunset views and does have a stainless grill with table and deck chairs. The backyard is large and will accommodate a quick soccer game.
The home is located within 10 minutes of Damariscotta Village which has many fine restaurants and talented artisans in the local shops. The ocean beaches at Pemaquid are located 15 minutes south of town. The Pemaquid Lighthouse Park is a great spot to view the ocean surf and have lunch.

- Horseback riding, stable is located in the neighborhood within a mile of the cottage. The Damariscotta River Association and the Sheepscot River Conservation Association have a number of public preserves in the local area which are great for hiking and bird watching.
