This is our personal mountain home that we decided to rent out a few times a year due to the proximity to Park City. Great property, well taken care of as you can see from the photos. The property is located at 7000 feet in elevation!!
The property is an easy 14-15 miles from Park City off I-80. The 3 Park City resorts..Deer Valley, The Canyons and Park City Mountain Resort are all within 20 minutes. Great for those that want to be near all 3 resorts. The property is about 40 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport. Some guests last spring skied Deer Valley and they said it was their best accommodations ever! (their words not mine) Our guests tend to be those that want to be near the skiing, shopping, and dining of Park City and than be able to "get away" from Park City at the end of the day and have their own private retreat on the mountain side!!
Let me share a few more details about the lay out to help with your decision.
The cabin is 3 levels...approximately 3100 square feet.
2 bedrooms, full bath, family room, big screen TV and Direct TV on the main and lower levels. The lowest level has a nice warm pellet stove. (bags of pellets supplied)
Master bedroom/full bath, full kitchen with dining, full laundry, great family room, big flat screen tv, gas fireplace on the main level.
2 bedrooms, full bath, loft area upstairs. All the beds are queen!! Great layout, Great floor space!!
There's a large deck off the kitchen level with tables, chairs, grills and large wood stove.
The cabin is fully stocked. All you bring are your personal items and the food and beverage you will be consuming!!
With 5 bedrooms and a hide-a-bed we have housed 12-14 adults before!
The rate is $395 per night and does include all taxes/fees etc. We do require a $500 deposit to insure against theft/damage. Deposit is refunded within 10 business days after "check out" less a $95 cleaning fee.
A weekly (7 night rental) gets the 7th night free.
Tons of deer and wild life. Bring your camera!!!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We have always loved the outdoors and this location has everything at our fingertips that we love. It is only 50 minutes from our home down in the valley. We see wild life such as chipmunks, rabbits, skunks and squirrels, to deer, moose, eagles, and elk. Whether it is winter, or summer, the lake gives us swimming, fishing, jet skiing, and boating to ice fishing, ice skating, ice fishing and snow-mobiling! We keep 3-4 flexible flier sleds and our grown children and grandchildren love to sled down the hill in the winter. During the summer, we love to ride our 4-wheelers around the dirt roads on the mountain. Our mountain is quiet, intimate and secluded which gives us a peacefulness as we relax and enjoy our mountain home and the beautiful scenery. We are very close to Park City, the 2002 Olympic Sites, and several ski resorts. It only takes 15 minutes to drive to these venues. And 30 minutes from Salt Lake City!
This is a fun loop to drive around. We always see wildlife here. Our grandchildren call this "jack rabbit flats".
This is a multi-million dollar vacation project with several golf courses, private lakes, and vacation homes.
this is a famous bike trail that enthusiast have enjoyed. It was a old track that has been made over into a fine bike trail.
Park City is the most charming and engaging city. Take some time to walk through the old city. The shops are a must.

When my husband and I first got married we had a dream to own a cabin one day in the mountains by a beautiful lake. So when we purchased the property we hoped that one day we would be able to build on it. Then in 2001 we built our mountain home and our dreams came true! At first we thought it was just going to be a small cabin, but when we built it, it turned out to be a 3,000 square foot vacation home with 5 bedrooms, a loft and family room for sleeping. We couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out. We love to go there.
