We just got home from a week in Gulf Shores at this unit. We had the Best time. The property and condo were very nice, very clean and well maintained. Its great to have a small grocery store across the street that we walked to. We will definately be back and will recommend to all our family and friends. The pool on the property was very nice. You cant ask for a better unit to sit and relax at in the evenings and so nice in the mornings, we even saw dolphins swimming. Mario was very helpful and very nice. Couldnt have asked for a better person to rent from. Our favorite restuarant was King Neptunes, all were good, Bahama Bobs, Docs, Shrimp Basket. We cant wait to go back.

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! A mix of relaxation and plenty to do! We loved that the condo was right on the beach! We saw dolphins several mornings and the we loved that! We found the location extremely convenient to everything. We were able to take a day trip to New Orleans, another trip to Pensacola to the Naval Aviation Museum, as well as, a dolphin cruise, mardi gras parade, and delicious restaurants right in Gulf Shores (our favorite was LuLu's). We found it very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the condo with kids who loved the sand and water. The unit was furnished with everything we needed. The patio was wonderful to sit out on in the mornings and evenings. We ate meals out there a few times. Listening to the waves crash each night was priceless! We were glad that we chose a smaller complex and that we did not have to deal with elevators and large crowds in the building. Parking was easy and convenient! This was a great place for our family and we would recommend it to others!

We had the pleasure of staying at this condo Oct 11, 2011- Oct 15. Jan and Mario were very easy to work with and our last minute plans did not phase them. The condo is right on the beach and the location in Gulf shores was ideal. The weather in October was fantastic and we had the good fortune to experience the Shrimp festival. The condo was lovely and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Many thanks!!! We hope to be back someday!

We love our stay in Gulf Shores! Mario and Jan were easy to work with, and we will definately be back to this lovely little hidden piece of treasure. It isn't fancy or resort-like - but it is very peaceful and clean. You will not get a better view anywhere else in the town than on that lovely little balcony. We enjoyed watching the dolphins as we ate breakfast out there and enjoyed listening to the surf at night. And, yes.... I admit.... anytime my family was missing me - I was alseep on the lounge chair out there! It is an older building, and there was some construction going on, but it did not interfere with our beach/pool time. Little condo very well stocked.... and a nice little treasure as far as this family is concerned! Perfect for our 2 year old! We will be back Mario and Jan!
Owner response:Thanks for the nice comments. We love our little piece of paradise.

Overall the condo was great and Mario was very easy to work with. I'd highly recommend a stay here. The best part of the condo is the location. I can't imagine a better location in the town of Gulf Shores. It's a doable walk and short bike ride to many restaurants. The best part is the proximity to the beach. My girlfriend and I walked a lot of the beach in the area and this was by far the closest to the water. We slept to the sounds of the ocean each night. Also nice is that this just a 3 story condo building, not one of the many high rises. It has much better character and I think the beach was less crowded. The unit is bit older and hasn't been updated in a while as far as decor, appliances, etc. but it has everything you need and has been kept in good shape in working order. Overall great condo, great location, great stay and great spot for a vacation in Gulf Shores! Again, Mario was extremely easy to work with and was able to accommodate us without problem on a few days notice.

This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and we had a great time. We have planned on going for several years but something always happened. The condo was nice, had all the amenities and was as close to the beach as you could get. Mario was easy to deal with and was only a phone call away if we had any questions. Harbor House is a great location and is a short distance to most sites and restaurants. We would definately stay here again.
Owner response:Thanks Shawn for the nice words. We like to make our condo attractive and accomodating for our renters.

Mario was so kind to take our many calls wondering how the oil spill was affecting the beach. It was all as he said, sand clean, water wonderful, just a few tar balls at night. We swam every day, saw 2 stingrays at our feet, little fish always there. Water was very clear, go out to your chest and look down at your toes. My kind of water. :) Condo is just 1 short flight of stairs up from the beach and pool. Easy to get all luggage up to room. Also not having to take our own boogie boards was wonderful. He had beach chairs for us too. Saved room in the car. We had everything we needed in room, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, pots/pans. Other guests, myself included, have left spices, salt and pepper and other goodies. Condo is as the pictures show. A wonderful cool place to go in the heat of the afternoon, read a book or sit on deck with a drink, and watch the ocean go in and out. So relaxing. Rooms were clean and the key was where he said it would be. Yes, I would recommend this place to a friend. Would stay there again. You must go to LuLu's, great food and fun place to eat. Bahama Bob's, yum. So many places to go, not enough time. The Hangout at lunch had a man making balloons animals for the kids, he went from table to table, also has big, big sand hill for kids to play in while waiting for food and drinks. We went para-sailing, went to the zoo a fun place to get up close with the animals. Can't wait to go back.

We had a marvelous time at the Harbor House beach-front condo on our short, end-of-summer vacation. We found everything we needed ready for our use in a warm, comfortable haven complete with a first floor ocean view balcony just steps from the sand and surf. We hated to leave and hope to come again soon. Thank you for sharing with us!
Owner response:Thanks for your comments. We love our little place in Paradise.

Our first trip to Gulf Shores for our daughter's wedding. Great stay. As close to the ocean as you can get in Gulf Shores. Watching the waves and relaxing on the private balcony was wonderful. Location of condo is close to all attractions and restaurants. The owners were extremely great to deal with. Thanks again Mario and Jan for allowing us great family memories. Unfortunately the red flags were up on the beach most of our stay so not much time in ocean. However our 2 year old was happy at the pool. Didn't like all the traffic and crowds that came in on the weekend for the 1st annual music fest at the Hangout. But prior to those couple of days very peaceful and family oriented stay. Would recommend!

This condo is RIGHT on the beach which makes it awesome for sunning, playing and relaxing. If you forget something in the condo, you're back on the sand in a matter of minutes. No long rides/walks up numerous floors to a high condo. You're literally ON THE BEACH. The balcony is nice - perfect for sunrises and sunsets. The condo is nice and clean and the owners are very accommodating. The location is convenient to everything. Make sure you walk down the beach to Bahama Bob's for lunch or dinner!
