This is simply a jewel of a vacation home. It is spacious, well laid out and very well appointed. The location is very near to Mauna Lani shops and Foodland grocery store. The house has an unbelievable kitchen so you can really take advantage of it if you grow weary of the Kohala Coast resort grub. Foodland is fairly high quality with a good amount of prepared foods, but it is expensive compared to the mainland. You gotta pay a premium for paradise. The house looks out over the golf course and is buffered from that by lava. The pool, hot tub, yard and entire outdoor cooking & dining area are very private and you never see your neighbors. The house comes with a ton of amenities including the aforementioned pool, hot tub, built in BBQ and refrigerator, two outdoor showers---one for the pool and one for the master bath (there is also a great indoor shower if you are boring). The kitchen has every implement imaginable and is well stocked. For toys you get boogie boards, mask & snorkels, beach chairs, coolers and four bikes. These come in handy at the private beach, where you will find some of the finest snorkeling in the area. You can also rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The boards are $52 per hour at the beach club. You can rent for $75 per day at Hulakai, at the Shops at Mauna Lani. I highly recommend this. The house is almost two miles from the beach club. You can walk, bike, or drive. Since it is all contained in the resort, this is no big deal. Also you can walk through the fish ponds and lava fields and see a lava tunnel that was utilized as shelter by the ancient Hawaiians. All in all we had a glorious stay at this house and will undoubtedly return often. I will be posting reviews of the restaurants we went to on Yelp and Tripadvisor. Feel free to email for details.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind review! We hope you stay with us again in the future!
