Located near the village or Port Clyde in the Town of St. George, Maine and a 5-minute walk to the beach. This private, yet accessible home will provide you and your guests a comfortable atmosphere with lovely waterviews. In addition to the three charming bedrooms, this home offers a den/library, a patio room with a queen-sized futon, a sunroom, full kitchen with viking stove, dining room and living room. Plenty of space indoor and out for family activities, as well as space for quiet moments. The second floor bath includes a laundry closet in the bathroom. Dog friendly, but please no cats.
We have recently refinished much of the interior and provided new furniture. We have however, painstakingly maintained the traditional design and charm of the property.

The "Fork In the Road" was perfect for our family. We had stayed here once before and loved it. This time the owners added a bed (fold away) and we had 2 of my siblings with family and our grandson age 2 and his family and our sons. The house is big enough to spread out. We did several day trips even one up to Bar Harbor. It was a memorable time for us all and my sister has a photo of the Port Clyde general Store on her computer screen. September is a great time of year in Port Clyde. Thank you!!!! Vicky

Hannah, Sorry for the delay in writing this comment. We loved our stay at the Fork In the Road. It is so wonderful for just 2 people and also for more. We had a few sets of family come. Drift Inn Beach is beautiful at different tides, and the children, of course liked low tide and mid tide. We shall look forward to returning next year to this home. It's charming and the games and books and videos are fun for rainy days.
