We invite you to come spend your summer just hanging on the beach, playing, swimming, body surfing, sand castle building, sea glass hunting, shell finding, sunrises, moon rises, late night walks, reading a great book, sunbathing, picnics, painting, photography, and building memories.
Historically White Horse Beach has always been known as a summer vacation spot shared through generations, it's an area packed full of beach cottages from the top of the hill down to the sands. This house sits on top of one of the "Avenues" where it's a convenient walk to the beach (less than 3 min) and able to take advantage of some beautiful ocean views. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, dining room & living room w/fireplace (for off-season cool evenings). Enjoy bar-b-ques out on the back patio and then walk it off on the beach and cool off with a late day swim.
Local area attractions include a corner convenience store, "Lobster Pound" fish market, super market, the "Antique Chapel" antique shop, lots of pizza and sub shops - yes, including "Rose and Vicki's", "MaryLou's" for morning coffee, "Sweet Lemon's" for breakfast, lunch, dinner and more. Ice cream and burgers at "Gellar's" (it's a great walk with the kids and then sit on the rock wall while you enjoy it - we still look forward to it every summer). "Star of Siam" a great little take out Thai food place. "Luke's Liquors" or "Russ's" place across from the Thai restaurant for great beer and wine selections.
Do you get the feel for this small town and all it's local favorites? You can always venture outside the 1 mile square block and visit Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, P-Town, Boston...just 10 minutes north on Rt 3A is Downtown Plymouth, the warf, Capt. John Boats, Museums, more food, Whale Watching, Deep Sea Fishing, Dinner Cruises, outdoor Summer Concerts, Indoor nightly bands, Lantern Tours, the Mayflower II, Museums...have we said enough?
