The home is decorated with Keys decor. Upstairs are three bedrooms and
two baths. Two bedrooms have king size beds and the other bedroom has
a full size bed. The living area is open with plenty of room for
sitting and watching TV, enjoying the DVD and reading libraries or
playing board games with the family. The kitchen is large with side by
side refrigerator w/ice & water dispenser, smooth top stove with
overhead built in microwave and an island bar that seats four. All this
opens to the outdoors with two French doors leading to a huge covered
balcony where you can relax, have a margarita watch the beautiful
sunsets overlooking the water. There is a large stainless steel BBQ
w/side burner on the balcony.
Only 25 minutes to Key West this waterfront beachy styled home is the
perfect fun under the sun home to rent.
Just call it "Paradise" on the Atlantic Ocean side of the beautiful
Florida Keys. Best of all navigate canal in just minutes and you
reach a waterfront fuel station with a bait & tackle shop, continue a
few more minutes down the canal and you will dock behind the local
grocery store that has a fantastic deli. Pick up your favorite
sandwiches and snacks and your ready to go lobstering and fishing. The
home is located in a great area minutes from famous Looe Key National
Marine Sanctuary for some of the best Reef diving in the Keys.
Summerland key offers some of the best fishing and water activities in
the lower keys barre none. Walking distance to Boat rentals and
charters and minutes from kayak, bike & jet ski's rentals. Swim or
fish right outside your doorway has swim ladder and concrete seawall,
with a large concrete deck or just relax & sip a margarita on the balcony overlooking the
water.
The home is located in an upscale quiet area of prestigious homes but
is just 25 minutes to Key West for fun.
This home is beautifully decorated in a "Beach
Style" with light pastel colors. New appliances,floors, 2 baths with fiberglass tubs and showers, Master bed is king size with wall lcd tv and the other bedroom has a king size bed which are very comfortable. The third bedroom has a full size bed.

If you have never had the pleasure of visiting Summerland Key, you
will find that it has the best water and neighbors in the Keys. It is
a boater's paradise, having the easiest channels in the Keys that will
accommodate large boats. Just minutes to Picnic Island and it's sandy
beaches, deep sea fishing, Content Key with the best lobstering around
and flats fishing right under the bridge to the Gulf of Mexico. If you
decide our home is not right for you, we definitely suggest you stay
in this aquatic paradise.
The lower Keys are the largest and least developed in the island
chain. We are in the middle of a peaceful wonderment and less than 25
miles from the electricity of Key West where you can rent a scooter,
visit museums, live entertainment, theaters, shopping, tours and for
the young at heart, don't forget the "Duval Crawl".

The best vacation our family ever had. The house is located on a perfect island with a perfect sunset right off the porch, Anthony and Martha where very easy to deal with and helpful in every way, just down to earth nice people. The house, location and weather was second to none. Easy to get to the trails in big pine, Bahia honda State Park ( A must see) and Key west. Thank you both very much for sharing your house with my family. We highly recommend your house to everyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed in this house from March 5 through March 12, 2011. We had a great renting experience from the time we contacted Anthony (owner) through the end of our vacation. The house is very comfortable, and located in a quiet area. It is exactly as described by the owner and worked very well for our family vacation (3 couples). The location was perfect for us since it is only 20 minutes from Key West or Marathon if you want more entertainment. Grocery shopping in Big Pine Key is only minutes away! We rented a boat from Rapid Boat Rentals just a block from the property which was perfect! Rubin was also great to work with and went out to show our 'fishermen' the channel and fishing spots! Our favorite spots were NOT in Key West. We enjoyed Lobster Ruebens at Keys Fisheries and Marina (Marathon), Pizza at No Name Pub, dinner at the Wharf (Summerland) and happy hour at Sunset Grill (Marathon). At Sunset Grill you could spend the afternoon by the heated pool (no charge)!! Again, thanks, Anthony!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

Thanks for the use of the house!!! Great Location half way between Marathon and Key West!!! Perfect for our Family. CAUGHT A 5' WAHOOOOOOOO WHILE HERE!!!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We decided to fly into Orlando because we purchased two round trip tickets through hotwire for $366.00 total! Rented a car and made our way down through southern Florida. We arrived at the house, located just 1 house away from the main road! Great place to park your car in the carport located under the house. Very Clean and well kept, we made our way up the stairs revealing 2 Grills (Gas and Charcoal) And a nice Hammock with a few chairs. Inside was clean and spacious. 3 Bedrooms, we only needed two. A nice big tv in the front room with some comfy couches. The bedrooms were all clean and the master has a flat panel lcd with another bathroom! Fans in all room along with central air made our stay GREAT! This house is located between Key West and Marathon. 2 great places to eat are the Square Grouper located just south of the house on hwy 1. And the Butterfly Cafe in Marathon. The Grouper has AWESOME food but is a little pricey, all in all one of the best meals I've ever had! You can't go wrong renting this one, great rates and the owner is super easy to work with! Have a great time in the Keys, We sure did!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I live in Tampa, Fl. and enjoy going down to the Florida Keys. The Keys are very relaxing sometimes we just hang around the house barbecue and drink some wine or cold beers. It's great to get out on the water and go snorkeling in clear beautiful water. We usually go lobstering or spear some snappers for dinner. I also enjoy going offshore fishing for Mahi Mahi and tuna. Once in awhile we go to Key West and drink some and listen to music watching the sunset.
Why the Owner Chose Summerland Key:
This area has the most beautiful water in our Country. The environment is very clean and has a low population. The fishing and lobstering is the best in our country. The Bahamas and Caribbean are the only other places in the world that compare. There are great restaurants and tiki bars down the street or if you like night life Key West is an easy drive.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I enjoy fishing for large game fish like tuna and it's nice to be able to spear fresh fish dinner a few minutes away from the house. Once in awhile it's good to go to Key West have some drinks and listen to whatever type of music you like. The Keys are definitely paradise.
