Dear Betty, thank you for providing an oasis for humans, birds and geckos. We appreciate your care for the land and creatures. We are leaving you some prayer flags - perhaps the gentle onshore winds of the day and the night winds from mauka will blow prayers to all beings on this island and beyond. See you again. Aloha Maile & family

Betty, thank you for your wonderful hospitality! The cottage is beautiful and the view spectacular. We have a sunrise wake-up every morning from a local rooster - we love it! First day - jet lag - ate at Wasabi's - excellent sushi. Second day - breakfast at Coffee Shack. Awesome! Lunch at Pescatore in Hilo, waterfalls, amazing, drove around the whole island. Dinner at Rin Thai. Excellent with view of sunset over the ocean. Third day - made a great breakfast - ate out on porch overlooking ocean, birds everywhere - exquisite - romantic.

We had a great time this week and feel privileged to have stayed here. The shows with the geckos were awesome! Thanks for providing a grill so we could cook up some fresh ahi from Sack N Save. The views are spectacular as well, especially the wicked sunsets over the horizon. And waking up to those views was awesome! We couldn't have picked a better place to stay and can't wait to come back someday. Stay awesome, Hawai'i!

Betty, this cottage was a perfect getaway for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the view, were entertained by the geckos and loved experiencing the afternoon and evening rainstorms from the deck. Your recommendations for beaches and local restaurants were very helpful as well. We really enjoyed the snorkeling at "69 Beach" and next to Captain Cook Monument in Kealakekua Bay. We even drove out to the Green Sand Beach off of South Point Road, truely out of this world.........we highly recommend it. We couldn't imagine a better place to spend our honeymoon and are saddened by our impending departure. Thanks for everything and we'll be seeing you again.

Betty, thank you for another memorable stay. This Honeymoon Cottage defines our experience on this Kona Coast. The sea view, breezes, decoration and tropical gardens are refreshing.

Betty, we thank you for the generous hospitality. The gardens are lovely and the cottage was a perfect "home base" for our day activities. We made ample use of your well-stocked kitchen and rested very peacefully during the evening, nighttime and morning. The gentle rains, crowing roosters and geckos all added to the charm. Mahalo & Aloha!

Dear Betty, Thanks so much for your hospitality and help. We had a wonderful week in your cottage and loved being surrounded by all these gorgeous flowers and plants. There were great days filled with activities all over the island (& thanks for your helpful guides) and nights spent grilling and watching the sunset from the deck. Mahalo Betty!

Mahalo nui loa for a wonderful week in the cottage. This was the perfect place to celebrate my 50th and to return to my roots. I will miss the flowers, sounds and especially the food, that is Hawaii. I will also miss the aloha spirit. All the reason for us to return again. John met the family and tried the local foods - gonna make him a local boy yet!! Mahalo Betty - it has been a relaxing week.

Dear Betty, we have had a wonderful visit here! Your cottage is perfectly beautiful!! I'm impressed with your collection of classic rattan & bamboo furniture and lamps. I took photos to send to my daughter who studies classic design. The geckos, birds (& roosters) are a treat! We will miss them. Sincerely, Jan & David Spry

Dear Betty, like all your previous guests, we too greatly enjoyed our stay. I was glad that the TV wasn't on (except for some "important" basketball games). When we'd return from our excursions late in the day we'd sit at the lanai table, listening to Hawaiian music, sipping wine and eating Maui potato chips and reading and talking. Ken grilled fresh fish every night. We felt at peace in the beautiful landscape with geckos and birds and comfortable in the cozy cottage. Betty, thank you so much for your gracious hospitality. Aloha!
