This charming Northwoods log cabin is the perfect family get-away. Set off the main road by over 3 acres of woods, the cabin offers plenty of privacy.
It has two large bedrooms, one with a queen bed and other with full/twin bunk bed. In addition, the living room has one full sized futon/couch and two single sized futon/chairs. Completely renovated in 2006. Features a fully furnished kitchen with new appliances, washer/dryer and two complete bathrooms (one with a shower/one with a bathtub).
You'll be amazed at how comfortable you are in this gorgeous cabin. Enjoy the magnificent view of the lake while sitting on the deck or enjoying a cup of coffee at the dining table.
Located on Prairie Lake, part of the Chetek Chain of Lakes, cabin has its own private dock for easy fishing, boating and swimming.

We have rented this cabin for a week for a few summers now. Always appreciate how clean and well stocked it is. We have brought things with us that we have not needed to use as it was so well supplied. Like the extra bedroom and bathroom for grandkids that come to stay. On site washer/dryer are so nice to have. We keep coming back! An extra added bonus would be internet access at this cabin and maybe an upgrade in the upholstered furniture.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

This cabin is very family friendly and provides enough 'together' space as well as 'alone' space. Kiddos get their own bedroom and bath which is so nice while on vacation. The washer/dryer was a huge saver for this family, as accidents do happen! The yard offers plenty of room to play, a fish house to filet your daily catch and the dock is far enough away you don't have to worry about kids wandering into the water. Would recommend this cabin for a great blend of modern convenience and rustic cabin ambiance.

We rented the Cabin for a week. We really enjoyed it. It was everything the posting said it was. It was clean, lots of room and very comfortable. We had a couple of problems but I contacted the owners Dad and he took care of it for us. I would recommend the cabin to anyone. The view of the lake and dock was not very good. Could not see the dock. I talked to the owners dad and he said that he would have to clean out some of the branches from the trees. Outside of that we had a real good time.

The cabin was great. It had everything we needed. We packed things we did not need to bring. It was very comfortable and clean. Great location. Easy to get to. We noted a couple of things and told the owners Father and he took care of it. We plan on renting it next year. In fact I am going to contact the owner when I get the review done. Anyone would like the Cabin.

We enjoyed our week at this cabin on Prarie Lake in Chetek. We were slightly disappointed that the water was not deep enough to dock our boat...(only about 6 ft deep) and the dock was very short. That meant we spent a lot of time at the boat landing loading and unloading our boat. There are dogs who run loose from the neighbors and I would hesitate to let young children play in the yard without close supervision. The cabin itself was very nice. It was very clean and updated. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on site. For the price, it was a nice place.
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+.
