  We have certainly been enjoying your house and the area for the past while. It's hard to believe that our time to return to reality is almost here! Each day we have gone off somewhere for a few hour trip to find what we can see, but most of our time has been spent on the patio or in the pool. The breeze always seems to cool us off a bit, and we never tire of the view. It's been a very comfortable and relaxing time. We usually try to find a place that is on the beach when we travel, and being up the hill has been a change. Both of us now feel that we have enjoyed this more because it is quieter and the air is always fresh; unlike right on the beach. I've been going to a yoga class most mornings that I found on the beach at Playa Hermosa, and my wife loves to just sit in the pool reading her book. She doesn't like the heat as much as I do, so being in the pool is great for her. Anyway, I just wanted to say how much we have enjoyed the place. It was better than advertised!   The house and pool were even better than we expected. Two couples shared the house for two weeks and one couple remained for a 3rd week. There was plenty of room and plenty of privacy. We lived outdoors so some pads for the chairs would be great. Casey the property manager was a stand up guy and he helped us arrange a regular taxi which eliminated our need for a car. We didn't mind doing some walking down hill to Coco. The area was very quiet and the best thing about the property was the amazing view. We just never got tired of sitting by the pool and looking out over the beautiful bay and town of Coco. The mountains in the background being the perfect picture frame. We have shown people our vacation pictures and they are very impressed with the house, the pool, and always comment on the amazing view. We would highly recommend this property to friends and family. We had an awesome time at Sunset House.

  Owner response: The Bohach group was great! Super attitudes for Costa Rica. Come back anytime! And we are in the process of looking for appropriate pads. Not easy to find in Costa Rica.

  The listing was exact! Photos of the house were accurate, the house was even better than the pictures. The pool was the big hit for us, we spent so many wonderful enjoyable hours in it. Our friendly frogs enjoyed it also :) We walked to town a few times and took a cab back with our groceries etc. It was most enjoyable to do this. The view from the house is incredible, you can never get tired of looking at it. Restaruants in town were very good and people were very friendly and helpful. We booked all our tours downtown and not one tour let us down!! We got engaged in Costa Rica!! We Highly recommend this place, area. We even ventured to Nicarugua. We stayed with one other couple and it was the holiday ever :)

  We found the Sunset House to be very well maintained and the staff welcoming. The second floor master bedroom is enormous with sliding doors leading to a private balcony. Photos simply do not adequately reflect the expanse of the house. Most of our week was spent in the pristine infinity pool overlooking the ocean. We wanted a little peace and quiet during our vacation and the gated neighborhood more than fulfilled that goal. Should we have an opportunity to return to Costa Rica, the Sunset House will be our preferred home-away-from-home. Thank you so much to Casey and staff.

  Our family spent 5 very enjoyable days at the 'Sunset House' in April 2012. It was a well maintained, spacious, contemporary house. As other reviews have mentioned, the pool and sunsets were great. Very secure, quiet location and a short drive to local sites. Highly recommended.

  When we walked in the door the kids said "oh wow!" That was an understatement. Sunset House was beautiful, large enough for all 5 us and had an amazing pool. Its location was perfect and served as a our base as we bopped around Guanacaste visiting all the sites. The property manager was great and gave us spot-on advice about places to see and more importantly, which roads to travel. We'd all go back in a heartbeat.

  The Sunset House is ideal for families, as it is large and spacious and sleeps 6 and has a very spacious kitchen great for cooking in. It is perfectly located in the Northwest region, making a great home base for many wonderful day trips. We especially enjoyed the family of 10-12 monkeys living in the nearby trees. As the title suggests, the sunsets were amazing. Can't wait to go back and explore further. Que Bueno!

  The Sunset House was exactly what we expected from the description and the pictures. Actually it exceeded our expectations because of the indescribable beauty of the sunset as we lounged in the infinity pool. The house was clean, contemporary and comfortable. Great, quiet location. Would definitely rent this house again.

  The house lived up to all the photos and posted positive reviews. The location is ideal to Hermosa or Coco beaches, restaurants and a zip line which are all excellent. The pool is outstanding as well. Road access to other locations is good also. The view is amazing, and as the house name suggests, sunsets are spellbinding. The house was well-equipped, spacious and served the needs of our family of five perfectly. All contacts with the local real estate agents were extremely helpful and contacts with the owner were prompt and cordial. We do intend to return to Sunset House in the future and that is our highest recommendation.

  STOP!!!! If this home accomodates your crew then look no further. Home is lovely with great beds and good towels. Kitchen has everything and more that you would need and we cooked "at home" alot. The pool is a lifesaver during the warm afternoons and has a fabulous view of the bay and beautiful sunsets The area is quiet but in close proximity for anything you wish to do. The property manager, Casey, is a wealth of help and information. The home is very clean and the only items I would add is more furniture by the pool. There were four of us ranging from ages 8 to 61 and we all could not have been happier. So I say in closing, GO,GO,GO!

  My wife and I stayed at Sunset House for a month, Feb.20/11 to Mar. 20/11. We found the house to be as advertised, and exceeded our expectations. Friends joined us for the first two weeks and then our family, including our young grandchildren, stayed with us for the last week. The view of Playa del Coco from the deck was awesome, and sunset watching became a nightly event. The pool was excellent, especially enjoyed by our grandchildren. I would highly recommend this property as a vacation spot for a family or a getaway with friends. We enjoyed Playa Hermosa, about 5 minutes away by car, more than Playa del Coco ( it is essential to have a car at Sunset House). There are many excellent restaurants nearby. We especially enjoyed Ginger and El Velero at Playa Hermosa and the Mexican restaraunt on the road to Sardinal.

  We had an excellent time at the sunset house in Playa De Hermosa, Costa Rica. The house is in a quiet yet luxurios area between Playa De Hermosa and Playa De Coco. The house was clean and had everything that we needed to feel at home. The view from the patio or the master bedroom or the infinity edge pool was excellent. You could see the sunset over the ocean or and evening view of the town of Coco and the bay were excellent. The house had A/C , full kitchen with microwave, internet access and satelite TV. This house was the best bargain we could find in Costa Rica. My favorite place to visit was the small private beach between Playa De Hermosa and Playa De Coco. It was only a short drive from the house yet still somewhat isolated and a beautuful natural setting. The snokelling was great!! In Playa De Hermosa, Allan took us out fishing. We caught great tasting Blue Fin Tuna. A short walk from the holuse we encoutered a great walking trail that led us down a canyon and small stream that had a small waterfall.

  We arrived the second week of November to find a house that is more beautiful than the pictures. The infinity pool is stunning and a great place to relax and watch the ocean. The house is centrally located near many attractions. We would stay again.

  I and 3 girlfriends stayed at the Sunset House for a "girls getaway" week and it was wonderful. The accommodations are everything that is advertised and more. The property manager was courteous and knew the area exceptionally well and was able to help us in several activities. We would definitely stay again.
